Celebrated my dad's birthday there by ordering 48++ per pax set lunch. Food quality is high as usual cos have been there several times for company treat as well. Alternatively ordering lunch dim sum can be a good choice too! Just that during peak hour the food serving speed can be slow, so be patient and relax. It will worth the wait.

It was my first time trying the food at this Michellin Guide restaurant. My first experience tells you that you won't regret trying this restaurant. The food is fabulous and I give it 5 star rating. The double boiled Sea Treasure Soup and the deep fried lobster with salted egg yolk and golden pumpkins dishes are highly recommended. The waiter told us that the soup need to order in advance and the soup went through 8 hrs of slow boiling, really very good (a must try)! See my photo attached with this this review.

Won't go too wrong if you seek to taste the aunthetic chinese restaurant in town. Served Cantonese style cuisine and located at Chijmes - old convent monestary. Try their drinker prawn, roasted pork, Peking duck and soup. They have private room and reasonable choices of wine too. Easy parking at B2 and nice ambience for dinner.

The food is nice; up-scale Chinese restaurant quality. The pork belly was really well done. The reason for the three stars is the service quality. Now I get that Mandarin is not my forte and I'm sorry if I can't read nor speak Mandarin at your level. But when the waitress starts avoiding orders altogether because we can't speak Mandarin in a Chinese restaurant; we have a problem. The communication was so abysmal I actually learned a new word for Lobster.. = Lorrister. Now THAT was quality entertainment.. it was a really nice lorrister tho 😆 I prolly should've double checked with that waitress if she meant lorrister with double r or single 🤔

Love the roast crispy pork here! Look like pieces of cakes. Great services and very very spacious for a truly great dinning experience.

Good dim sum, not too expensive for the traditional dishes. Ambience was great.

Good service. Good Peking duck. But modern dishes lack complexity in taste.

Had a meal in their private room. Was probably the best meal ever, a full 10 course dinner. Very good food and service.

Good place for ordering small plates of Tim Sum and roast meat. While you are at it, enjoy some desserts.

Group of 12 had dinner last monday. ..no roast pork no peking duck unless reserved ahead. Place was quiet even for Monday. Food was average quality even for alas kan crab. Service was slow and not like before. Price 2k. No abalone or sharks fins. Byo wines.

Horribly overpriced. Felt so cheated by lei garden. We were a party of 15 people and were expecting to get decent food at this nice looking restaurant in great surroundings at chimes near City Hall.
However the food was quite poor with very basic dishes. We also ordered a full Peking duck and were presented it, afterwards it was taken away so they could prepare it. later we had one dish with thin slices of the skin from the duck and that was it. According to the service crew the rest of the duck had been served in a very uninspiring rice dish. However that i find very hard to believe. And the price for all this was 80 $ Per person.
I find this absolutely unacceptable and want to discourage anyone from doing the same mistake as we did and go there for dinner

Nestled in the midst of Chijmes' lush garden setting, this upmarket cantonese restaurants appears to be popular among expatriates and tourists during my visit. Despite being a busy restaurant, the service crew is attentive and prompt in service.
The quality of food is great and I especially liked the fact that they were flexible in adjusting the set menu portion and price to the number of diners. The assortment of dim sums I had was great. Also the black pepper lobster noodles is exceptional with generous serving of fresh lobster. However, the peking duck was a slight letdown as I find it lack crispness and little too oily. Or perhaps, I am not used to the rich flavours of authentic cantonese dishes.

Chinese dishes served sometimes very simply, sometimes with a very nice twist. Servers are very polite and professional. Pricy but can't go wrong for business entertainment or Chinese family celebrations.

Expensive restaurant meant to wow (and make) money from tourists. The focus is not on getting returning customers. It's one of those places you visit because it's expensive and pretty. The only ones to be impressed by the food are those who has never tasted good Chinese food, or those who never tried eating at good restaurants.

They used to have some lunch promo for 4 pax, and that was great. Nowadays, their dim sum are still pretty good, but there are definitely better dim sums out there. The soups are a must try - very tasty and well balanced! This is a pretty authentic hongkong restaurant nonetheless, just a tad bit pricey given the location and food types served.
