Great place to have soy sauce chicken noodle or rice, coupled with dumpling soup and oyster sauce vegetable. Cheap and good. The chicken is tender and noodle is chewy. 5 pieces of fat dumplings will fulfill your appetite. A combination of chicken noodle, dumpling soup and home made barley water is only $12, guarantee to fill up your stomach and walk out with great satisfaction. Highly recommended!

This soy sauce chicken is any day as good or even better than Hawker Chan. Only thing is that Hawker Chan's whole chicken is $25 while LFNK's whole chicken is $32. That said, LFNK's chicken is bigger and way more fresh.
How can you tell? Just look at the bone of the drumstick, fresh chicken has a pinkish marrow while frozen chicken has a dark grey marrow. For soy sauce chicken you must always use quality chicken.
While Hawker Chan's rice is normal plain rice, this place serves the best chicken rice - shiny pearls of rice cooked to perfection, with hints of garlic and ginger. Unbelievable!
The boss has been operating here for over 30 years and it is always packed for lunch. Staff are friendly and service is quick. The roast pork belly is also good here, but a bit expensiv.

The staffs are really friendly and the soy sauce chicken is quite nice despite the really affordable price point.

For good old comforting chicken rice, this place is hard to beat. Would go here instead of the one star michellen star joint anyday...

Great chicken rice and roast pork. Also serves dumpling soup, and noodles. For drinks they have the usual soft drinks mineral water as well as barley and lime juice

Usually crowded during lunch hours. Ample parking lots. Traditional soya chicken very popular.

I think the chicken rice here is better than Loy Kee and Boon Tong Kee. Must try the soya chicken.

Although variety of dishes are limited but they serve one of the best soy sauce chicken. The caramel taste like sauce is thick and not salty. The char siew can do better. Worth a visit.

Place is a f***king slaughter house. We went in a group of 3 and ordered a plate of liver to share. Turns out to have been served a large plate of liver and charged 3x the price for it for the large portion. The uncle taking the order didn't even bother to ask if we wanted the for size of the liver. Who in the hell eats so much liver?? Totally extorting money out of its customer cause the place is relatively empty. It feels like they are out to cheat the customer by helping them order the LARGER servings unknowingly.

The steam chicken is bomb and the prices are reasonable. Nice place for family meal togather.

Mediocre. Definitely had better chicken rice elsewhere. Mostly it was the price, $75 for 5 adults and 3 children, nothing fancy, just chicken rice and a couple bowls of wanton soup and a plate of vegetable. First time here and didn't impress me, might return for a second chance.

The soy sauce chicken is beautifully soft and succuluent. There simply aren't many that can compare to this.

Awesome soya sauce chicken rice. The portion is big.

Lee Fun Nam Kee is a reminder that there's more than one way of preparing your chicken rice.
I personally like the "normal" Hainanese version, i.e. plain "white" boiled. However, this restaurant, in addition to serving it plain, also offers an awesome soy sauce version. The thick and sweet gravy is poured over the chopped chicken before serving with chicken rice. The rice is slightly oily and very fragrant (which is how chicken rice should be). It's so good that you can just eat it on its own.
This restaurant is also highly recommended if you are looking for a nostalgic taste from the 1960s. The restaurant began as a food stall in the old Toa Payoh Lorong 4 food centre in 1966 before moving to its current location.

One of the best soy sauce chicken one can find in Singapore. Chicken is succulent with a flavourful gravy. Ordered dumpling soup; dumplings were well filled with chunky water chestnuts. Soup tasted that it had a bit too much of salt/ MSG for my liking.

Soya sauce chicken is quite nice. Skip the soup as it is rather salty.

Chicken rice is pretty good but pricey IMO for what it is.

Soy Sauce Chicken is one of my favorite dishes and Lee Fun Nam Kee is one of the best in Singapore for that. Their chicken is juicy and plump, the sauce is different from what you get elsewhere but it tastes delicious. I usually order the Hor Fun because it is so soft and tender. Best of all, their standard has been consistently good throughout the years I've eaten there. A definite must try for fans of Soy Sauce Chicken.

The Soy Sauce Chicken they serve is probably one of the best in SG. I'm a huge fan of chicken rice, and this just made to my top 5 chicken rice!
Succulent pieces of chicken served with sauce and that nicely cooked chicken rice just makes it so wonderful.
Top it off with a bowl of dumpling soup and your meal is complete!
Downside is that parking can be quite limited during peak hours and food can be slightly pricey.

Been patronising this chicken rice place since young. Love the soya sauce chicken.

The soup is more expenive than the actual chicken rice. How can two person finish such a big pail of soup. Poor recommendation by staff. Yuck.
