If you are feeling rich and hungry in sentosa, this is the place to come. Located conveniently near the monorail entrance. I got the 1for1 dinner course deal though. Look at all the mouth watering food in my photos! Each ingredient is carefully arranged and served.
Steak was juicy, pork was porky. Prawn was fresh, fish was actually tender! Dessert was visually appealing. Food actually tasted as good as they seemed! The food is prepared right before your eyes!
Ambience was great, dark but colorful. Counter seats were the best! There was even a bakery on the way out the savour the last memories at the comfort of my own home. Please come you will enjoy =)

Poor value for money. Sommelier trying to sell his maderized wine! Confusion of tastes ! Only the famous mash potatoes met expectations . Manager absent of his obligations! Joel! there is work to do in this atelier! Very disappointing! Far from matching your brand in other cities!

My wife and I wanted somewhere nice to celebrate our return to Singapore and, having enjoyed meals at their restaurants in Hong Kong and Bangkok previously, decided to have dinner here.
This was an enjoyable experience, with excellent service and well presented dishes. The decor was beautiful and the counter seating allowed us to watch the chefs as they prepared our food. We were sorely tempted by their discovery menu, as well as the huge Tomahawk aged steak, but the portions were just too large.
We opted for the dinner menu, at S$198 before taxes, with an additional $48 supplement to add a beef main course. The breads, as usual, were fresh and tasty. The amuse bouche of foie gras custard with Porto wine was interesting, though it was a little strange to have the foie gras as a cream. This was followed by Hokkaido sea urchin in a lobster broth, which was nice.
I liked the confit salmon and I guess my wife, who is not a fan of cooked salmon, liked the dish too. My main was duck confit, which came in a tea cup. While the duck was delicious beneath the pumpkin puree, it was unsubstantial, even with a side of the signature mashed potato. I am not a huge molecular gastronomy fan, and I really wished that the dishes were done in a more traditional way. In fact, I left the restaurant still feeling hungry. My wife opted for the grilled Kagoshima beef with Sarawak black pepper, and it was delicious, but there were only a few tiny pieces.
Dessert was dark chocolate fondant, with tonka bean sauce and chocolate sorbet. It was beautifully presented, if a little sweet. Our pot of Earl Grey tea was weak, but we loved the galette and Madelines which ended the meal.
Our main male server, as well as the other female servers, were friendly and warm, and took pains to describe the dishes.
Parking at the basement can be confusing, as we had to go around looking for the blue lots. Thereafter, instead of following the signage and rather convoluted route for Hotel Michael, just head to Festive Walk food street, where you can find the restaurants at one end.

This is one of the TOP restaurants in Singapore. The experience will not disappoint, it is best to make a reservation which a credit card is needed. There is a selection of ala carte, set menus, and the discovery digustation selection. Wine paring with food is provided and highly recommended. Suggest that you sit by the counter to have a good view of the kitchen where all the action is.

As always the food is nice. However, 3 years back their first menu was at $68, one year and half ago move to $88, and is now $118 with almost all dishes with supp... not mentioning the increase on wines. So doesn't worth it anymore.
