This coffee shop is definitely famous for hangout in the afternoons. Great coffee/tea and toasts.

Ordered toast set with eggs. The half boiled eggs are done perfectly, not too raw, not overcooked. My friend also loved the Chee Chong Fun. Don't be mistaken by the stern voice to arrange seats. "No seats, no order..." He's actually friendly as I saw him played with a customer kid. May need to go during off peak hours if in big group.

Sometimes I order their curry chicken with bread for lunch! Tasty and the serving is just nice. Their teh and yuan yang is what I usually order too!

Great local food at a local coffee shop. Great selection of dishes which is great.
Still had the traditional coffee shop feel, which is awesome as well.

Great local breakfast. Good selection of local delights but the toast, coffee and soft boiled eggs are my must have. Open throughout the day serving up a selection of local favorites. Good place to visit.

Very cheap place for breakfast with an authentic local atmosphere. It’s always crowded but the food is worth it.
+ great coffee and tea
- public parking sometime hard to find

Aroma local coffee and just like my mother's style home cooked curry chicken

Came here at 8am on a Sunday, didn't habe trouble finding a seat. Kaya toast was delicious and they didn't skimp on the kaya. Slightly pricier than other kaya toast, but it's worth the extra dollar.

Simple, delicious, reasonably priced food. A must try for anyone looking for a great breakfast near Orchard Road. The place can get a little crowded so be sure to come early.

Crowded place offering average local breakfast fare. Recommend the Valley Point branch for friendlier service and a more comfortable environment.

Famous "Teh C" and kaya bread are good.

Charcoal roasted coffee- done the old school way.
It's rare to have it done the traditional way and get a consistent hot tea/ coffee.
Good local favorites that doesn't fail.

If you're from Europe....don't go there.... They don't even know to boil a egg.... Complete waste of time and money.......

Love this place. Piece of S'pore heritage. Good local meals and beverages. Their laksa is excellent.

Best place for anytime in a day, their milk coffee, milk tea and all kinds of toasts are amazing. Curry is big. Uncle Peter is very friendly to talk. The cashier lady was very careful asking if i would bring the kaya jam abroad so she wrapped it nicely to prevent any damage.

Good atmosphere genuine people and awesome food. Specially the chicken curry and the kaya butter.

Love the fluffy crispy bread with the awesome kaya. Their menu is pretty specialised so there isn't a lot of variety. I didn't enjoy the Mee siam or Chee cheong fan that much. They are good at the eggs and toast combo.

Missed this place most of all when I moved away from Singapore. Being back for breakfast is amazing. Awesome Mee Siam!

It's busy-ness reflects its enduring popularity! Had butter sugar toast and white coffee. Coffee was divine but the sugar was so little in the butter sugar toast that we added some more!

Old skool kopi stall. This place has a long history and famous for they Kaya toasts and milk tea. So try their kaya toasts (I personally love their french toast!!). Coffee is not as good but their milk tea is nice!

The first Killiney outlet. Popular for crisp kaya butter toast and half boiled eggs. Kopi (Coffee) is good too. Serves comfort food like curry with bread.
Ana Gonzalez Escudero (22/09/2016 10:25)
Loved the curry and the local feel. They have options for breakfast, lunch and dinner that are available 24 hours.
If you like spicy food or Chinese breakfast, and don't mind a place not being spotless, then pay a visit, you won't regret it.

Historic as it is iconic, this place has been dishing out a bevy of Singaporean breakfast plates and serves one of the best Kopi's in town

Chicken Curry Noodles [tasty curry and good kick, maybe a bit less beansprouts]
Kopi [what theyre known for!]
Mee Siam [sweet savory sour broth noodles]
~~OKAY🙂:

Local delights such as mee rebus, mee siam, praha and egg set. Coffee and tea. Just pricey though.
Liow Ruo Yu (11/06/2016 00:26)
they don't serve the traditional toasts in set meal, so you need to order each individually. Prices are a little more ex than the average, considering it's located right in Somerset. Boss recommends the Mee rebus.
Kevin Jose (29/05/2016 09:27)
Really good place for breakfast. I tried Kaya toast, soft boiled eggs and Kopi and would highly recommend all of them. The service is also prompt.

This is a traditional hainanese coffee shop that serves beverages and food. Good place to have a quick break. It also have branches in other location like Siglap, Marina Square.

Very tasty food and reasonable prices. Had the Kaya toast and coffee one morning, had the chicken curry with prathas another day. All were flavorful.
