Jurong Bird Park remains to give the visitors a great experience even though it has aged.. Anyway it's a good idea to relocate it near Singapore Zoo by 2020, The different bird shows are ably conducted by the well trained staff (and well trained birds. Bird feeding sessions are a big attraction for the kids and some adults alike. Bird life near the waterfall continues to amaze people. For the species living out their it has become a natural habitat. It's heart warming to see weaver birds busily making their nests and calling the partners to have a look at the creation. Invariably, this tourist attraction is one of the greatest in Singapore yet.

Best place for bird lovers... Also, if you have kids along, they will also enjoy...
The best attraction were shows in which you can do chitchat with birds and different birds can show performances.
I suggest not to take tram, instead you walk all over to see much more birds....
You can take photos with them... Also, we can feed them (chargeable basis)
Overall, very good place to visit.

One of the best places for bird lovers in Singapore. I spend about 8hrs.
Timings are 9am- 5:30-6pm, weekdays are the best if you don't want the crowd. Check out the bird shows are go half an hr prior the show to get good seats. Worth waiting extra to watch it.
There are trams inside which take you to different stops and you can get off at any stop look around and get back onto another tram.
Food and beverages available inside the premises at decent rates.
Kids will enjoy this place and so will adults and senior members.
Loads of birds are seen, and you can feed parrots too, thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
Bird shows - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maintenance - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food Price - $$$ (Medium priced)

One of the best bird parks in Asia with an excellent collection of birds. Visitors are encouraged to feed birds (with food given in park). Great quality and good environment. Must see in Singapore. It should take about 3h. There are also decent food options and sufficient resting facilities around the park.

Best place. You have every facilities. Better take the tram and see the items near the stop and catch another tram. Birds show and water fall park are the best. You must see the water fall area without fail. All birds live in closed large area.

It's a paradise for bird lovers. One of the best bird parks I've ever been it. You can take the cart ride or you can explore it on foot. There are various shows across the day and you need to keep one whole day for exploring the park. Make sure you carry your cameras, as you'll see colours coming to life.

Opened in 1971, millions of bird lovers from around the world have experienced our colourful avian world. Jurong Bird Park is Singapore’s first wildlife park and Asia’s largest bird park, offering a 20.2-hectare hillside haven for more than 5,000 birds across 400 species –– of which 15% are threatened.
The park’s goal is simple: we hope to enhance visitors’ understanding and appreciation of our feathered residents through naturalistic exhibits, interactive feeding sessions and world-class bird shows.

Haven't been here in ages but i was very impressed with the set up. Extremely kid friendly and they even have a water play area as well as a playground. Closes by 6pm so i found the evening time to be perfect for visiting as it was not too hot neither was it too crowded. Weekdays would be better as well..

Easily one of the top and popular tourist attraction in Singapore. Would recommend going to the bird park and also visiting the other 3 attractions - zoo, night Safari and river Safari. To cover the bird park you would need about 4-5 hours and the place is huge. They have trams to take you around the various sections. I really enjoyed view of penguins and would also highly recommend going to the shows - the parrot can sing Happy Birthday in multiple languages.

Jurong Bird Parks is one of the must visit places in Singapore for tourists. Its got a lovely collection of some of the rarest species of colorful birds. The birds there are available in all shapes and colors. Some of the enclosures are awesome where the birds are made to stay in huge enclosures and we have to walk inside to see them in the natural environment...much like how its shown in the Jurassic Park. Some places its awesome to see the birds come and sit right next to us without any fear and pose for photos. This park is as well quite big and if you want to cover in detail, it will easily take you close to 5 hrs. You will have to walk a lot. There are trams inside, just like how it is in the zoo. Kids will just love coming to this park. The shows are also very nice where they talk about the species of birds and then that bird performs tricks which enthralls the crowds. Flamingos are just lovely inside.

Worth of every penny. Enjoyable. Do not come during high noon. The weather was hot & burn skin. Before noon & after noon is the good time. Had a blast time here. Bring own drink & food. Quite pricey.

Bird lovers, flock over! A decently sized park with a large variety of birds. Great for an outing with the kids. For the most part the park is well designed, pretty even. Every now and then, however, you'd find off-trails that wind back further than where the path began. And then also those that lead only to a staired exit - hostile to strollers and wheelchairs. All in all, still a great local attraction. Update: park is soon to move.
John Martin (27/11/2017 07:31)
Need a bit of travelling to reach the place. Entrance has a few gates, and there are paid tram service with 4 stations, making a total of 10mins ride excluding stopping time. Drinking water fountain & toilets available every a hundred metres or so. Good amount of bird species although not all can be observed at close range. Some areas are very humid and mosquito a plenty.

I had other good memory about this place since I was actually often here when I was living in Singapore before. Soon after got our ticket, the lady told me that the parrot I love, died already. Was a clever one. She told me the trainer can't teach the new parrot like the one before. It was a special one.
Ed S (22/11/2017 07:22)
This is a well set up bird park with some very rare birds. The shows are timed very well and the hosts are engaging. The birds of pray show was exciting as was the parrot/Paradise bird show. The man made falls with all the birds flying around was cool. You did not really know that it was an enclosed aviary.
Rama kumar (08/11/2017 02:53)
This is awesome place enjoyed a lot. Special at parrot feeding. But other shows also very good. I like flamingos. Those are many with beautiful colours, totally enjoyed lot. Thanks to Singapore, I recommend everyone must go with their family 👌👌👌👨👩👧👧👩👩👧👧👨👩👦👦

Many species of birds which can't be seen in our daily lives. Our children will find many amazing and interesting discoveries by visiting the bird park. They will see and learn how eggs are hatched. There is a 100 ft waterfall. Best of all, children can have close contacts with birds at Lory Loft. They can feed the birds with nectar ($3) which can bought from the staff at the counter. Definitely a good trip for children during school holiday. Good bonding trip for families. 👍👍👍👍👍
SUPRIYA BHIDE (07/09/2017 01:15)
Great place! One can see different birds and their antics. There are various entertaining bird shows here too. The tram ride takes you through the whole park. There's a waterfall Aviary here too. The waterfall is 30 metre high! Do visit.
Sauryadeep Pal (02/09/2017 17:24)
An absolutely wonderful place to spend the day with family and friends. Not only is looking at all those species of exotic birds an amazing experience, the helpful billboards and commentary at Jurong Bird Park have also ensured that it's pretty educational! The High Flyers show, especially, is fantastic beyond words and a must-see for anyone visiting Singapore.
The only quibble I have with this place is that the food can be quite expensive, so do keep that in mind if you're budget conscious. Apart from that, Jurong Bird Park is a truly unique experience and I'd recommend any visitors to Singapore to come here at least once.
Ravi Kumar (02/09/2017 10:33)
Beautiful setting and over 400 species of birds. The high flyers show is a must. Walk around at your own pace or use the hop on hop off bus. I would have liked more time. For this reason I would consider taking a taxi and taking as much time as you want.
Tintu Praveen (31/08/2017 05:36)
A very well maintained place. Must visit for tourists. Don't miss the shows. Kids will enjoy this place. Has few decent place to eat. Make sure to take the bird park map so that you don't miss any part of the park

I was great. Have not visited the bird park for quite some time and was very surprised on the changes and improvements done. Its worth the visit if you have not visited the park as it will be relocated to a new site on 2020, info from staff.
Lots of food outlet in the park, dont have to go out in search of food. We opted Indian food at Curry Garden, the food was great except that its a self service restaurant.
Mike Du Bose (23/06/2017 00:42)
Jurong Bird Park is as nice and as well thought out as the Singapore Zoo. It is easy to find whatever you are looking for by just looking at your free map or following the many signs scattered throughout the park.
There are a couple of shows you can watch, I was able to see called the High Flyer Show, it was a fun interactive 30 minute show that everyone seemed to enjoy.
There are many flamingos in Flamingo Lake, there was a penguin enclosure, and a beautiful aviary called Waterfall Aviary because of the 100 foot waterfall on one end. There are several observation points in the aviary that give different views of the waterfall. As I was exiting the aviary a Sun Conure landed on my shoulder.
I spent several enjoyable hours in the park, it was absolutely beautiful.
Vinayak Nair (20/06/2017 17:25)
Lots of shows ,and a wide variety of birds can be seen here. Option to photograph yourself close to the birds is also available. The shows keep repeating every hour and the park is huge. So make sure you're ready for a walk. The birds are not frightened of humans and come quite close. The park also has one of the tallest man made waterfall. One section of the park is a playground with multiple activities.
visanila rahavan (26/05/2017 17:02)
Huge but well organized. Shows and feeding sessions are well planned and informative. Feeding parrots in Lory loft is a very cool experience. Tram services are not in par with of zoo. But walkable park. Needs one full day to experience everything
Somnath Kalas (03/05/2017 14:24)
It is one of the best bird parks in the World, combination of the birds of park , the information captured is very useful for my daughters (15 and 10 years) it is very well maintained park. Would probably need to have more no of shows during the public holidays and Sat and Sundays. This specific information are still not openly published by the Travel Agent or Tour ticket providers.. A Good Bird Park, many of them are in plenty.
akash kumar (13/04/2017 11:59)
Good place. But plan in advance specifically on time to visit else you will miss bird show, carry extra clothes if bringing kid because there is mini water park for kid inside. Prefer walk than tram as it is quite small.
Jonathan Greenstein (11/04/2017 04:55)
Great park. Beautiful grounds and well maintained facilities. Plenty of live shows and feedings that are spaced apart to allow you to catch them all if you want, or you can wander the expansive park and enjoy the birds in natural habitats.
Friendly staff. Clean restaurants. Lots of convenient and tidy bathrooms.
Pushkaraj Lahankar (28/03/2017 06:44)
Amazing place. Huge variety of birds there. Make sure to go early. Do carry hats and ample water. The tram ride inside is quick and completes a round in around 20 minutes. It's the walk in the park that takes longer. But it's definitely worth it. Definitely a recommended place to visit.
Priya Rangarajan (24/03/2017 18:01)
Serene and picturesque, with birds chirping, a don't miss destination. You could have macaws and parrots sitting on your head. The tram ride is not worth it. I would have preferred the walking trail. You couldn't see much from the tram. Loved the waterfall aviary and Lory loft. The shows are not to be missed. I was able to catch the high flyer and king of the skies shows. A nice walk around could leave you flabbergasted. They boast of one of the tallest man-made waterfall aviary. This bird park is home to 5000 animals. Jurong has many worlds largest and tallest inside.
Robert Chai (05/03/2017 22:40)
Beautiful place to experience a day with the birds. They have very nice segments of the park where you can see and interact with birds up close, as well as feed them with a fee. But do take note, some birds can be overly excited and their claws do leave a little sting.
You can also visit certain parts of the part where you will see a whole lot of variety of birds from various parts of the world. And they even have the largest man-made waterfall in Singapore!
Too bad this place is scheduled for closing and will soon shift to as a segment of our Singapore Zoo. Do check it out when you still have the opportunity to visit!
Adrian Emery (04/03/2017 11:57)
lovely reasonably sized zoo dedicated to just birds
just like the rest of the island it is very easy to get here on public transport and if you have flown in on Singapore Airlines bring your boarding pass as they offer deals with it.
they also offer a multi park ticket with the zoo and night safari so if you are going to all three it may be cheaper
keep an eye on bird feeding times as the birds will come really close and you can see them up close
Anna Iatskiv (21/02/2017 08:07)
A bit farther from the city, than I expected. Very green and fresh - you don't feel the heat at all. A lot of birds of course, and a nice playground. Perfect outing if traveling with kids.
Mashook Talpur (11/01/2017 11:44)
One of the Asia and World's Top ranked birds zoo with a wide variety of beautiful birds to watch and experience. The shows are great specially the parrots show held twice a day, everyday. As well as there is a constant variety of ongoing activities to watch and enjoy in the park.
Meng Teck Chua (21/11/2016 09:32)
The bird park is a great attraction to spend at least half a day visiting and nice for a family outing. In terms of layout, the park is relatively easy to navigate on foot. There's also a tourist tram service that goes round for a quick tour. As it's usually packed at the first station, visitors could consider taking a short walk and hopping on at the next station. A suggested itinerary: Catch the Hawk show at 10am, Penguin feeding at 1030am, Pools Amphitheatre show at 11am, Have a quick bite and tour the rest of the park free and easy. Lory feeding is better done in the morning as the birds are more active. Overall, the park offers great entertainment while providing education about birds.
Mahendra Pawar (27/10/2016 20:54)
Heaven for bird fans.
Delight to photograph all the birds at such close distance. Its a big park and couple of events/shows too take place. You need almost a whole day here if you plan to do it in detail. Highlight for kids and adults alike is the lorri feeding. A must visit for anyone who visits singapore for the first time.
Punit Nathani (16/10/2016 12:18)
If there's one wildlife place(out of the four popular ones) to visit in Singapore, this is it! Great shows, exciting interactions, and stunning collection of birds. Confirm go!
padma sree (16/10/2016 08:52)
One of best places to visit in Singapore with kids. You can see all kinds of birds. Don't miss High Flyers show and kings of the skies. Lory loft is very different where u can feed birds. They are lovely !
ARUN KAUSHAL (16/09/2016 07:15)
It's a very good place to go with family and friends. It gives you the experience of watching all the bird life living in their natural habitat. It's accessible by cab and bus. All in all it was a good experience. I have been to Jurong bird bird park 3 times now and will go whenever I get a chance again with my family.
Belle Smith (13/09/2016 12:05)
I am a huge fan of birds so I went to visit there. Very nice birds like Eagles and Stocks, Ostriches and Flamingoes, Penguins and Parrots...you even can feed the Lories! They will be moving it to Mandai soon, and I can't wait as I live near there! But I know that this place will always be known as Jurong Bird Park for its Species of birds and where it is now. I would advice you to visit there as it has amazing shows, and I went to visit one. It was really cool! They star parrots (Macaws) and they really were trained to do the show. They're names were nice too. The penguins were cool too. But alas, some were sick so the feeders gave them more food. But they still add the happiness ticks to tourists and they can't wait to go there again. I can't wait to go back again too!☺😀😃😃😆😆🐥🐤

Highly recommend the "Breeding and Research Centre", a little building hidden next to the water play, quite close to the Bird Park's entrance. When you are lucky, you get to see a lot of little birdies that just hatched or birds that were born only a few months ago. A great place to learn about birds for my little one.
Samiksha Waghchaure (14/06/2016 05:03)
A huge variety of birds is found in this beautiful bird park. The tram ride is a must try. The bird show is a very interactive show in which one is able to interact with all the friendly birds. This bird park also gives you an opportunity to feed the birds and to play with them!
Brandon (13/06/2016 13:58)
Finally back here after 8 years,
Quite a few changes here and there but still a wonderful place :)!
Keepers were really friendly as well and cared to explained to me about the penguins! THE BABY CHICK WAS VERY CUTE!
Notable Changes :
Lesser birds in Lory Loft
Food changed from solid to liquid form for the birds
Ruchi Sharma (04/06/2016 05:55)
One of the goto places for parents with young children. The shows are awesome , entertaining and enjoyable. Go early before the sun is high up as there is lot of walking to do
Jazreen Deboo (22/05/2016 12:01)
Don't miss their lovely bird shows. You will be amazed. Guaranteed! Must watch and high flyers. Plus, you get to feed the birds there during feeding time and that's an experience in itself. Swan Lake, Parrot Paradise and Pelican lake are spots of beauty. Have lunch at Bongo Burgers.
