Love this place for the crab. There is so much meat that always leave you feeling very satisfied. We always order the chili crab which is my favourite.
I also like to order this chicken dish that uses chicken skin and served with squid meat at the bottom (picture below). I like this location for Jumbo as it's next to the sea and you can sit outside. Service is very good
Overall experience is great but I won't say it's a 5 star for me.

Food that we got was nice but they forgot plain rice (never came) and overall the dishes are pretty expensive for what they are. I suppose you are paying for sea view on the terrace.

Best chinese sea food I've had in Singapore so far. The chili mud crab makes you lick your fingers! The veggies are fresh, tasty, it is just absolute greatness! The service is not only professional but also very nice. Highly highly recommend to any sea food lover!

I was attending an exhibition at singapore expo when my friend brought me to this restaurant. The food was actually good. I don't really know about the price because my friend pay all the bills (God bless him!). This seaside restaurant has good vibe. Where everyone enjoying their time accompanied by good food, a big glass of beer and of course their friends, family,or colleagues. I won't forget the experience. Singapore always has it's way to made me remember my cherished time.

The Pepper crab was as dry as the waitresses personality! They didn't have the wine listed on the menu so gave us an inferior wine but charged same price. The whole experience was definitely not worth the prices they charge and would never recommend this place to anyone. Got a much better meal at Marina Bay Shopping Centre for $7.

Very good food. Jumbo is a must in Singapore. However as it is expensive this should only really be a special event dining. This might not be the best place for kids as eating chili crab is messy and having kids might be a annoyance. It's a great place for Singapore most prestiged food and also offers great views

There is always a crowd here and this speaks volumes for this successful seafood restaurant. Table waiting is prompt but lately becoming impersonal. The quality of food and preparation is still very good but the restaurant has lost some of its 'wow' factor. This said, the oyster omelette is still the best around.

A really decent restaurant to eat at with family or friends. The quality of the food is quite good, and the service there was rather fast and pleasant. It is located in East Coast Park, which means after a wonderful day out at this long stretch of park, you can pop over to Area E To eat at this place. Of course, please note that this place may be quite crowded on weekends and holidays, as it has been recommended and reviewed by many famous food reviewers before. Furthermore, as an additional bonus, they provide free WiFi.
The only downside is that the price may be a little high, but it is worth it for the quality and taste of the food served at this seafood restaurant.

Expensive - the crab was very average for the price - my son had sweet and sour chicken which frankly looked nicer and much cheaper

Oh yes, best ever sea food I had... We had great time there. I loved the pepper crab! Just too cold inside.

Food was amazingly good and seasoned well. Good place to experience Singapore iconic chilli and salted egg crab. However, nearby to airport extremely packed. Thus, reservations are required for around dinner time (6 to 8 pm).

The food is delicious. The staff is courteous but the service during rush hour is not up to the mark. Dinner time always sees a large crowd. But the ambience is great.

One of the best place for chilli crab in Singapore and with nice view. Normally quite crowded with tourists and local. Place for business to bring clients there for dinner.

Love the chilly pepper crabs. Restaurant has a factory mentality. pls don't expect great service by waiters. Great food.

This place will not disappoint! Better view than the one at Clark Quay. Order the cereal prawns and black pepper crab instead of the chili crab. Perfect match with Tiger beer

Great seafood in great location. Reasonable price and great variety of dishes. Nor2rather busy but worth the wait.

Always a pleasure to be here and devour some good sea food. Service by the usher at the entrance was very poor and also sad to see they have shark fin on the menu. Black pepper crab is a must try.

The iconic crab must go in Singapore. It is always busy here so know that you must make reservations or be ready for a long wait. The food does do justice to the hype. Well connected on bus routes and and with Taxis.

The only thing worth coming here is the great view in the evening. The food is average but the service left a sour taste for my family. The plates and bowls, being left out in the open for a while, are dirty and our few requests for a change were all forgotten. Any other requests throughout the dinner were brushed away by the overworked employees. This place is huge but obviously understaffed.
I will not travel all the way here for seafood as there are better options with competitive prices elsewhere.

We had a great dinner here together with friends. The sticks with chicken and pork and the satay (?) tasted really really good. Of course the chili crab was absolutely amazing. Small buns both steamed and baked to slack up the chili sauce, wow!! Definitely a repeater!

Very popular with the tourists, lots of seating and good food but is definitely not the best seafood to be found in Singapore. The chili crab, although famous, is a poor comparison to some of the more local haunts. Its a good place to take overseas visitors who are a little cautious about their food, but if you want the real deal, this isn't it.

This outlet is particularly popular with visitors to Singapore - the service is consistently good and the wait between placing your order and your food reaching your table is reasonable. The chili crab and black pepper crab are must-haves, though the salted egg yolk crab is just average (if you're a fan of salted egg dishes this is nothing to write home about). Though there are many other places in Singapore that serve excellent seafood at more modest prices, this is the place I head to for fuss-free seafood dining. I really like that it is spacious and the bathrooms are clean. The queue is long so arrive early if you want to get a table! It rained when I was last here and the staff quickly moved every one who was seated outdoors into a sheltered area; due to the rainy season they prudently didn't fill all the indoor tables. Plus points!

Crowded and pricy. if i could, will head to bedok hawker for the bites
Tanmay Jaswal (11/03/2016 11:18)
The place has become nicer since the renovation. The restaurants overlook the sea and you can sit outside. Of course the view is not that great as you can only see hundreds of ships anchored.
Still, enough to do for a family outing with cycling, skating, walking tracks and lots of food
Daling Sheng (19/12/2015 05:03)
Open in the evening only, with a few seafood and other outlets shut down, perhaps due to poor visitor numbers. Check or call ahead before coming here for a visit. It's easy to get here by taxi but VERY hard to get out. You have been warned! Pricey dinners by the beach, with views of oil tankers and container ships in the distance.
Better off going to the food village just minutes away and sample local cheap eats!
