The michelin 3-stars already describe this restaurant, what more could I say. French-Asian fusion, more specifically to the South East Asian (loves the spices from coriander, turmeric, coconut milk and the protein, frog leg). But then, you can see a bit of Japanese as well.
Make sure your tummy is empty and start the dinner around 6-7 PM, since it take about 2 hours to finished the "Menu Degustation" set. Even though there are many choices, don't eat too much bread at the beginning (taste of the bread is okay). As a reminder: when you're full, you cannot really taste the umami of the main course and the sweetness of the desserts. Eat slow and try to differentiate the ingredients in every bite.
Price wise in a upscale fine dining with the famous chef? $$$$ Well at least you can try the best dinner you ever have in Singapore, once in a lifetime.
Recommended to try and enriched your palate, if your fund is unlimited and have been in many fine dining restaurants around the world.

I would very much like to give it a 5 but for some reason we came off neutral. A 3.5 would be better. Perhaps expectations were set way too high since we have been to Osteria Franchescana and were simply blown away by the creativity and impeccable service of a 3 Michelin star restaurant. One such example was 3 waiters coordinating the presentation and removing on every dish served! Perhaps over attention that made us felt a little uncomfortable even a blink of an eye would catch the managers attention :). now back to Joel...dishes was not bad but just did not wow. Foam Foam Foam and truffle truffle truffle is what i can remember most. The only dish that stuck to our heads was the Beef Chateaubriand with Foie gras which we were amazed how they fused the two proteins together nicely. It is not showed in a box now but in the original pot it was cooked in - is this complacency? no idea. Anyway it was my boy's bday and they were nice to complement us with a cake and the champagne at S$150 a pop was ouch excellent :). In any case, think we had a better gastronomic journey at Burnt Ends at fraction of the cost.

Perfect ambience and great food. Every dish is exquisitely crafted and leaves you wanting more. However, I was too full when it came to dessert. A plus point is that you can help yourself to unlimited cakes or small sweet bites!

Had a great time there and enjoyed every single dishes that was served. Decoration on each dish were impressive. Expected from Michelin star restaurant. Minus one star is because of the desserts on the cart. They have big varieties but the taste were just ok. It can be better. Their breads were great and made you already half full before you begin your actual meal (recommend Tomato bread). :)
