Great price and location. Breakfast is decent value as well. Don’t expect too much luxury , just a decent place to sleep a couple of nights.

Not bad! Has everything we need and good location. Only comment would be that they should bleach their blankets, they're clean but have stains.

Now at this hotel..friendly atmosphere..great food..clean room..great service..great location such Chinatown..Bugis..transportation access..great price..looking forward to stay in this hotel again with my family when we return..

Location is perfect as it is near marina bay and CBD. Breakfast is okay, hotel is clean and staff is really friendly.

Kaylee 1918 is a great value when staying in the downtown area. Excellent hot breakfast, included when prebooking, we were pleasantly surprised to have such a good breakfast.
Location can't be beat, close to everything a tourist would want. Room was compact but still larger than any other budget hotel we have experienced. Room very comfortable and quiet. Bed was all foam and extremely comfortable. All amenities found in pricier hotels were there. Desk, safe for valuables, nice bath mirrors, etc. Very nicely done.
One of by the best parts was the staff. All First Class in terms of service, friendliness and professionalism.
No doubt we will stay here again next time we visit beautiful Singapore. Highly recommend hotel.

A bland, modest, oily breakfast buffet is provided at this hotel as part of the booking for guests of Jayleen Clarke Quay. Food seems nice as first but the oily nature of the food means that if you eat the rice, curries and fried noodles for more than a few days you could feel sick. There are better and cheaper dining options in Clarke Quay shopping mall food court by the Clarke quay MRT.

Jayleen 1918 is a good hotel. But this place can be much better. There is no dedicated room service. Also getting connected to wifi (which has become a basic necessity nowadays) is a big hassle. Locality is quite decent. Breakfast was pretty decent. Lobby has a piano which is an added bonus off a musician like me. Visited Singapore for a vacation week. So all in all a pretty decent experience. But experience in the hotel can get much better.

Great location, right next to Clarke Quay MRT station. Surrounded by restaurants, great for a short stay. In the evening take a lift to the rooftop of this hotel - great views. Breakfast available (we booked it with our room), quite a lot to choose from. Great service - when our WiFi broke down, they immediately started fixing it and when nothing else worked, they got the owner to bring completely new router to our room which solved the problem. Very close to Chinatown .

Poor wifi signal strength and very slow in room.
Should not pay for the breakfast because of poor quality and limited choices
Bad smell in the bathroom (the smell should be from the drain pipe)
Very close the the MRT station
Next to the Singapore river

So-so....but all these refurbish hotels r like that...looks good only on the outside...but they r least priced in that manner do I can't complain....places to go if u can't afford Shangri-La mandarin Fullerton raffles etcetc

a simple hotel at a reasonable price. it's just by clarke quay station which is about 25 minute taxi ride from airport. reception is open 24/7 so no dramas about late check in. the guy at reception was super friendly and recommended we head straight upstairs to the rooftop to get the city views of all the lights over the financial district and marina bay sands. in the morning we made a coffee in our room and headed back up there to take in the daytime cityscape. the breakfast was a range of hot dishes like beans, noodles, rice and curry and also selection of cereals, juice and coffee. the hot food isn't labelled so was hard to tell what was vegetarian or not so had to ask staff. we stayed in the economy double room with no windows. it was fine for us as we were only really using the room to sleep for one night but if you're staying a few nights I recommend spending a bit more on a bigger room with windows. the bed was right up against the wall and the sheets were stained which was a off-putting. shower pressure and hot water was good. make sure if you want hot water to turn the switch on. wifi worked fine but not on rooftop.

Haven't stayed there but when approached for a small but important help(photostat copies of my certificates for mom appointment) the old man in reception helped me and refused to take money...good people...god bless...

The location is nice! Near by Clarke Quay SMRT station and Clarke Quay Promnade.
Also can see Marina Bay Sans from rooftop terrace.
Room is just OK. Enough for me as single travelar.

Good little spot -- very convenient for public transportation. Internet is spotty so make sure you have your own 3G subscription, and definitely bring earplugs, as the BTS trains go past it from 6:00 am until midnight. They don't do breakfast, but if you exit the hotel and turn left on Sukhumvit, the New Yorker Cafe serve an excellent breakfast with rather nice coffee.

I had a very nice stay for 3 days. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Good choice for a budget stay.
