Best place to take children. The play areas here are very good. Being under the shade of trees, the tree house play area situated on a sand pit makes for a perfect place to play even on a very sunny afternoon. The thematic gardens are nice

A delightful place for children and adults alike! A new animated bridge entrance, skylight that casts interesting shadows at the new lobby, various surprising enclave of play areas, the revamped design by ZARCH blends nature into the overall spatial design and create unique experience for visitors. Great for family outing!

For both great play time as well as a learning experience about nature, a visit to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden is a must.
With everything from sand pit, water play area, slides, swings, trampoline and tree house, this Garden has all the elements of sensory play which the children will love. All play areas are well-maintained and safe.
The garden has a variety of themed mini-gardens housed within which helps the children to learn all about the different natural botanic areas present like orchard, forest, farm, water plants, etc.
The tree house play area offers a nice sheltered play area under the natural shade of trees making it the perfect getaway on a sunny afternoon. It's sure to keep the kids occupied for hours away from TV.

This place has been revamped with more play areas for kids up to 14 years old. Links to the Eco Lake that have more open spaces. Interesting flora and gardens for a nice short stroll. Car park lots are limited.

My 2yr old loves running around here. Sand pit, water play, nature trails with miniature suspension bridge, elevated walk ways and viewing platforms. Small cafe/ food court for drinks and snacks. Free entry for all who are accompanied by children - adults without children not allowed entry. Kids can play freely just no scooters or bikes allowed. Only negative is limited shade on water and sand areas .
Opening hours: 8.00am to 7.00pm (last admission at 6.30pm). Closed on Mondays (except when Monday falls on a designated public holiday)

Jacob Ballas Children Garden has just been renovated and now has a flying fox a trampoline and a obstacle-course-like play area. Kids are guaranteed to enjoy their experience there. Adults who are following their children can enjoy the scenery and flowers there while waiting for their children to tire of playing on the flying fox. There is a café which sells coffee and other drinks along with some food to fill your stomach. This children garden is also connected to the Singapore Botanic Gardens and is quite big. Make sure to bring your kids here and enjoy yourself!

It's a good idea to have a garden for kids but would be better if there are more signage on names of trees & plants to teach the kids.
