Just love shopping at IKEA! Coming from a person that does not particularly like shopping, this is a compliment!

The store is well laid out and one is never hassled by "eager and overzealous" salespeople.

The IKEA restaurant also serves value-for-money meals in a cafeteria-styled spacious restaurant. Their Signature Swedish Meatballs is filling and delicious. I believe that the dishes served have been localized to suit Asian pallettes. Besides the food, the restaurant serves unlimited refills of soft drinks. Certainly the place to go if you are thirsty and hungry!

BTW, there is ample parking during the weekdays; however, it does get very crowded during the weekends and public holidays.

It's a great place. Be there planned. Make a initial visit and plan the things to buy. Then maybe a second visit to buy things. They offer you free measuring tapes so that you but the correct furnitures. The place is flooded with awesome portable and non portable home furnishings. Make your home lively.

Wife choices of furniture to choose from, fully customised. They have show rooms to draw inspiration from. They have delivery service but they charge by pieces, so let them deliver the bigger pieces, smaller pieces just carry home.
They have a playground for parents to drop off their children while they go shopping. There's a restaurant for families to dine in, try out their signature meatballs and Nordic soft drinks. Generally a good place to chill after a day of hardcore shopping

One of the coolest place to laze around and shop. Its like walking into a living room if you go up to the bedroom and living room section. You can laze around without the working staffs chasing you away. The room models are amazing. Basically, you will find everything you need here from kitchenware to bathroom stuffs, decor etc., and not forgetting the yummy but cheap food. I guess if I live closer to Ikea I would just come here for the food. The food are as delicious as it looks. Prices are pocket friendly so if you are on a budget and you want to buy a gift or something for yourself, I will strongly recommend IKEA

I love the Swedish meatballs and the fried chicken wings here. They offer a different set of menu every day/week. Their lotus rice is worth trying as well. It's a good hangout place. Grabbing a seat is a pain during peak hours though and the queue stretches all the way to the toilet area.

IKEA outlets are always familiar and friendly to 'old' customers like me!
Whether in Singapore, Shanghai, Canada, Europe, the shop layout are always similar. A big thumb-up for the Company.
Merchandise are always refreshing at reasonable prices with reasonably good and excellent quality!
And the food outlets at all outlets are always excellent!

Located on Alexandra Road this is one of a kind furniture store which also has its own dining and cafe. You will always see eager people outside its cafe. There is a small section selling baked stuff as well. Rest - well, it's IKEA, so you would know what to find. Modern furniture, inexpensive and mostly requiring assembly so that transportation is easy. Store can transport and assemble for you for a fee in a few days time. The checkout counters have self service and its fast.

Cheap breakfast!!!!!! Breakfast starts from 9am till sold out. Usually lunch menu starts at 11am.
Quiet atmosphere, cozy, relax during the morning hours. Only $5 for the pancakes breakfast bundle. ❤️❤️❤️ chicken is a must try dish if you are at IKEA. Above average 👍🏻. $1 for hotdog n bun.... how to get a deal elsewhere with such cozy environment. IKEA one of my hang out place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

IKEA! Best place to buy room concepts or do it yourself furniture at affordable prices. Best part is the food its awesome. Try their Swedish Meat balls with jam and the gravy absolutely delicious. Bring forth a mixture of sweet and savoury in the mouth, a taste explosion! Also Ice cream and Oxygenated Water sells for 50Cents a piece.

Getting around within the shop is easy enough, just follow the arrows (the main entrance is on the second floor). There are maps to show you where you are. When shopping, keep in mind that check out takes ABYSMALLY long. They never have enough cashiers and are not exactly the fastest when scanning things. Also, no bags provided so bring your own shopping bag or pay for one of their blue bags. The food is the best. The quick shop market place on the first floor has great hot dogs and ice cream, and food to buy to bring home. The second floor has their proper restaurant where you can try their Swedish food.

Showroom of deceptively elegant furniture and market halls of eclectic wares, good for the leisurely afternoon stroll. Badly designed big furniture, including the purported "solid wood" ones. "Self assembly" workmanship and particle board materials are usually bad combination for safety, esp. if you have very small children at home. The "hand carry" items such as small stools and glassware appear to be of better quality.

Thomas Chevrier (23/11/2017 10:26)
Really hate this Australia airport duty free style... forcing the customer to walk through every possible aisles and departments to move around the store... needless to say if there is a fire don't be in a rush to get out... I don't like to be constrained like this. Sorry. If your products are good I will want to look at everything and you won't need to play such lousy dirty trick...

dogcom sg (21/11/2017 03:20)
Spent a whole afternoon picking up kitchen utensils and cushions. It's always nice to then have a nice meal at the cafe while there with cakes and coffee to finish off. Good food with pleasant presentation at affordable prices. If only the queue can be faster and the seatings capacity to match the crowd it'll be great. It's always crowded. The food section is actually very efficient and fast, Unfortunately the payment queue is usually slow so it really test your patience if you are a hungry person.

Yanch Ong (19/11/2017 16:13)
IKEA is great. Their showrooms are good for a quick bit of inspiration and I find their products pretty great for their price. I love their food most of all though; it's all affordable and tasty.

Sigara Icen (15/11/2017 05:34)
Delicious affordable food at the canteen. But the staffs working there could do a better service. Had a bad experience when I was dining there. Else would have given 5 stars!

Mehul Shah (16/09/2017 04:09)
Largish IKEA store with plenty of variety. If it's your first IKEA visit, I suggest you go with a couple of hours on hand. Don't miss great deals in their mart. And try their easy self checkout. It's awesome.

Miriam Feiler (14/09/2017 14:41)
I would like to make a complaint. I was at IKEA Alexandra tonight to buy a rug and some other bulky items. I chose the Self-Serve queue because it was going to be easier for me physically to scan the items, than take them out of the trolley individually and place them on the staffed counter. The young woman on duty (8:30pm) at self serve looked at my trolley and said I had to go to the staffed-counter because I had too many items. I looked up at the sign which said "Approximate 15 items" and explained to the lady that it was OK because I had the correct number of items. She argued that I did not and in front of the queue counted in her head my items and said you have too many, please leave this queue. I refused and said I had the correct number of items. She was determined to enter and then win an argument with me and so took some of my items out of the trolley, put them on the floor and counted again. With a sense of triumph she declared, "You have 16 items". I was furious. The last time I checked the English dictionary, 'approximate' meant just that. In this context, approximate could mean anywhere from 14-17 items by my calculation. Her officious and "cannot" attitude is unbecoming of a staff member at IKEA. She ruined my shopping experience. I hope you train your staff to treat customers with more respect.

Very nice place to get your furniture, cheap, nice design and portable. Family oriented mall with playground for kids to enjoy themselves while parents busy with shopping. Even have a nice restaurants with good food at affordable price

John Michael (02/08/2017 09:35)
Sure it's not as big as the Tampines location but it's closer and more convenient for me. they have tasty food and lots of things that I need and definitely don't need. I personally like the as is section, I can get creative and build one off items from items that are sold at a discount. They are about s block away from my bus stop, have cabs in the front and offer great services. I used to live here when I first moved.

Cheuk Hang Hui (01/08/2017 13:01)
The same seamless experience you'll get from IKEA everywhere else - the showrooms and cafe on the 2nd floor, followed by the small-item merchandise, self-service area and check out on 1st floor. One thing to note is that a good amount of furniture were out of stock when I visited. Probably a good idea to check the stock on IKEA website if you already know what you're looking for

Kenneth Yuen (09/07/2017 03:11)
A place to get ideas for home furnishing when one have a bit of time. The cafe serves predictable food at decent prices. The famous chicken wings just got put back on the menu and it's wonderfully crispy.

Jonita Chew (28/06/2017 10:06)
Really good and reasonably priced food. Had Ikea Meatballs. Really delicious. The sauce complemented the meatballs well. The pasta's meatballs and the 10pcs meatballs are actually different. Free flow coffee for only $0.50. That is really cheap. Downside is that this place is really self-service. Have to get your own plates and return them to tray return section. Anyway, good food, good price, worth it. On a side note, the milk used in the ice cream seems to be different from the one used in McDonald's vanilla ice cream. This one is much nicer :")

Loh Hui Fang (27/06/2017 14:36)
Good place for weekday breakfast - affordable food items without the jostle of a crowd in a comfortable setting. Loving the refurbished restaurant area! However the food options can be limited.

One of my liking. Amply place to park and move around. Nice food at Ikea restaurant.
Free 3 hours parking with purchased.
However, there is long wait for cash out during peak hours.
Good to have system to linkage payment and stock collection to minimize waiting time.

Very affordable furniture and furnishes. Great place to get home furnishing and decor ideas. Restaurant serves affordable tasty food with no service charge but can get very crowded. Be a Ikea Family member to get free coffee /tea at the restaurant. Car parking can be a pain. May be difficult to get a parking space. Car parking is expensive but it is free if you make a purchase (other than food and drinks).

Luke Phang (19/04/2017 07:01)
I come here mostly for the food, the meatballs, cakes and chicken wings have been absolutely delicious, along with their choices for main course. The entire food court has been revamped since the last time I came, which is good because it's more spacious now. Too bad they took away the ice and straws for the drinks.

Also, I find it strangely therapeutic to stroll along the long IKEA walkways, looking at all the wonderful furniture that I can't afford yet.

Darren R Hedley (18/04/2017 10:11)
It's IKEA, unless you are a furniture snob what's not to like?
A kiddy area, they can stay for an hour if over 105cm tall. The stock level seems a little better than Tampines. Layout is great, working your way along the meandering path is like walking through the catalogue.
Expect the Cafe to be mobbed on the weekend, and I do mean mobbed. The food is basic, but tasty with a high turnover.
Checkout has been streamlined, mostly self service and now more efficient. The queues for pickup and home delivery are also reduced. The customer service training has paid off.
Lastly, the hot dogs and coffee are international IKEA standard.
It's IKEA :)

Arien Dreamer (20/03/2017 15:01)
A lot of options of affordable and nicely designed furniture. Besides buying furniture, you definitely need to try their 50 cent ice-cream. The only minus of the place is long queues into IKEA restarant and snacks shop, especially on weekends

Jay de Jesus (04/03/2017 04:54)
The smaller of the two IKEA outlets in Singapore. This one is more accessible if you stay in the city area.

It may be smaller, but only means it's easier to go around. All the household items and furniture IKEA has to offer is available.

If you plan to dine in their in-house restaurant, try to be there earlier as peak hours may cause a 30 minute wait in line.

ATMs are conveniently situated by the entrance.

Love this store! Lots of interesting stuff. Quality of furniture has greatly improved. Innovative designs and trendy colours.

Convenient place to shop at night thanks to the 11pm closing time. The restaurant on the 2nd floor serves Swedish and local food until 10pm. However the queues (for both the main store and the restaurant) can be long in the evening and during weekends.

Melvin Pao (24/01/2017 11:28)
The famous Swedish furniture store! Not as big as the Tampines branch, but nevertheless holds lots of inspiration for home decor at reasonable prices! Weekends are impossibly crowded, and parking is always full! But with a little patience, it can be a pleasant shopping experience.

HomeTour Studios (20/10/2016 08:29)
They sell furnitures, household accessories, decor accessories, and everything else that you might need for your home. They have a style leaning towards Scandinavian. Almost all items and furnitures are self collected on the spot from their warehouse, and assembled on your own. You may also opt for delivery and installation. They serve tasty food at their dine-in as well.

I always love my trips to IKEA! A great place to swing by even if you aren't looking for anything to buy. The soft serve ice cream was pretty cool so be sure to check it out!

TJ Wright (09/10/2016 11:23)
Its very organise and its entertaining to look at home fixtures and furnitures. It sparks everyone's imagination of their dream house. They did a good job in making shopping experiential. Food selections are also one of a kind. I personally liked their coffee!!!

Salisa Niramansakul (04/10/2016 12:16)
Move to a new house? Recently renovated? It's always great to shop at IKEA. Good location. Free shuttle bus on weekends. Items sold are at reasonable price.

Jonathan yeo (23/08/2016 02:50)
IKEA boasts one of the largest furniture malls and is defintitely one of the best places to spend the whole day looking at housewares. You'll definitely find something that catches your eye especially with the prices that good. The restaurant/cafe is also decent though i feel the chicken wings quality has dropped slightly. Nonetheless still one of the best in Singapore. The kitchen also innovates quite often and has a change of menu

Jun Lem Wang (07/07/2016 18:23)
Selection of items here seem to be not as good as the one in Tampines. It's also convenient to take public transport here, but drivers might want to think twice because of the limited parking spaces... Crowds can be crazy on weekends. But IKEA is IKEA!

Alvin Ong (26/06/2016 14:14)
Standard Ikea - 5 stars coz I especially like going to Ikea!

Sankar Balasubramanian (15/06/2016 05:26)
Here we have lot of items displayed and the space has been utilized to the best. Though this is smaller compared to the other store in singapore, here showcasing the products are nice.
