BUYER BEWARE of House of Anli.
We purchased a custom made table for $3500 that turned out to be defective within 6 months from delivery (the table top had a crack due to a fault in design). After insisting to her that we do not want it repaired as it will only get worse (according to an official assessment), the replacement delivered to us is a smaller size from the original and it already has a crack similar to the other.
Despite the clear evidence that the manufacturing is defective, the owner Anne-Jean still refuses to refund any money, even though under the ‘lemon law’ we are entitled to it.
8 of 10 of the interior furniture and décor we also bought from her turned out to be defective (such as a lamp and a mirror whose adjustment screws did not work properly).
It is clear that Anne-Jean had no regard for me as a customer, even after we spent thousands of dollars with her, as her overall pleasant demeanor evaporated once we encountered a problem with her products.
A formal complaint has been lodged with CASE and State Court.
