Noisy aircon. Bathroom vent not working. Front desk not particular friendly. However technical guy seems helpful and reasonable. Not recommend.

Had overall good experience staying at Queens. Walkable distance for Metro, shopping malls and local shopping.

Hotel Royal located at waterloo. A location that is in between douby ghaut and bugis. Also it is walking distance to chimes. Transport to different tourist location are convenience as bus stop and mrt are walking distance away. You have bugis station and brash brasa station right at your door steps. The hotel are big and the room are comfy. With nice service crew serving you and assisting your need. Great work and keep it up! There are many amazing food around bugis area. If you are in for some shopping you wanna stay there and check it out.

The food at the restaurant on the 2nd floor wasn't great. I believe there are other alternative that are better than them. However overall the services was ok and mediocre experience

Hotel is acceptable with price. Room is not so impressive, but OK. Very close to MRT station, short walk to bus station. Location is good, easy access to Marina bay, Clark quay, Boat quay, Orchard, Little India, China town... Friendly staff, willing to help. Minus point is quite poor breakfast

Attended wedding at hotel. Food is superb. Chef even came out to ask about quality of food and tell us how the food is done

Attended a wedding dinner. Food catered was quite good. However, waitresses service was pretty bad.

Have used Royal @ Queens on 3 occasions as a stopover between Aust. and London and have found it an excellent choice. Have been warmly greeted at the door by Jaya who took care of the luggage and makes sure everything in order. Rooms have been clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff and amenities close to this centrally located hotel. Will use this hotel again if travelling overseas.

Recently went to hotel royal for a wedding. The menu was great, service was average. They should definitely do a check on their electrical supply or system as there was a power outage during the wedding dinner for a good 5 min.

The carpark has very sharp corners, so do bear that in mind when deciding to park here. I had dinner at their coffee house. The menu is relatively limited. The fish and chips portion was a little small in my opinion. The hor fun, however, was relatively good. Only paid WiFi is available.

I was there for dinner at one of its restaurants on level 2. It was a simple hotel, so I did not expect much. And true enough, the hotel was pleasant and it met my expectations. The food was average to above average and most importantly, I did not have a bad experience.

Location is the best part of this hotel.. Located very near to the metro and Orchard road.. Though rooms look a bit packed, you can easily go to places around. Stayed here for 2 months. Chef was very caring and he made sure to deliver my bf sandwiches as early as 5.30

Loved the position. Close walking distance to train and museums and great for shops. Hotel was clean good size and staff very helpful. All in all a good stay.

In the heart of things, but expensive for what they offer.
Rooms are a little run down, housekeeping needed to be prompted, room size was big enough, but unsuited for more than 2 guests.
For the money I was expecting more.

spacious room and good interior. good service with friendly staff. breakfast is also great. but some corners in thw room are too dusty, need more attention from cleaning team.

Good economy option to stay for our 2-night stopover. Beds were not so good. Service was. Even though there's no guarantee, we could enter our room early in the morning already. Street itself and directly around not that interesting. But within walking distance from hop-on hop-off bus stop and starting point, subway stations that take you to all the best places quickly and safely.

Good place. Nice clean room. Breakfast menu was kinda the some for 4 days, but a reasonable amount of options to chose from so it wasn't too stale. Enjoyed the stay

Surround the hotel there are places of interests, shopping, restaurants and fastfoods. All walking distance, you can get cheap local foods at walking distance max 15 minutes. What else can I ask for at $165 per night. Rooms are decently design and cozy. Nice scenic view, only setback no free wi-fi.

In common, your hotel is clean, enough equipments. The breakfast was decilious and easy to eat. Location of the hotel is near subway station (Barash Basah), so it is very convinient to visit city. I'm really pleasure with your service. If i have occasion to return Singapore, we will choose this hotel once more. Thank you very much.

Let's begin with the bad points. The bathroom is dirty. The bathtub isn't clean looking (it's hard with a bath so get rid of it I would say) the lights are orange and orange just adds to making it even dirtier. The bath shower curtain hangs way to far in the bath so it sticks to you all the time. The bathtub was leaking too. Also the shower is to low. Everyone under 170cm can't fit.
There was molt on the walls in the bedroom too. And the swimming pool was closed to top it all off
Other than that the location is perfect 2 min walk from metro station and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good but not really anyone cheese or other healthy stuff a lot of fat things can be found.

Nice place. Great location. But the housekeeping needs to be better. Old bottles and take away boxes were under the bed and in the corner of the room. The beds weren't made properly on most days and the reception staff never smiled or greeted me despite me staying with the hotel for more than a week. On the plus side great wifi and a good room size. The housekeeping was prompt as well.

Upon check in we were not welcomed the lady simply gestured that we should sit down. She asked for our passports and proceeded to check us in. During this process we were rudely interrupted by an Indian couple and the lady proceeded to help them with their inquiry which took 5 minutes or more then continued to check us in and did not apologise for the interruption which was no surprise considering she was not talking to us anyway. She then abruptly asked for payment gave me a total and asked for payment. She then gave us our cards to go check in and the friendly conceirge helped us to the elevator and took us to our room with our bags. We asked for 3 extra pillows to be in the room, but when we got to the room there were no extra pillows so we searched and found two more. Once discovering those we found out that they were very thin pillows and required at least two more. My partner went down to ask for them and got told that we can NOT have any extra pillows and that there are some in the cupboard and that's all we could have. I require to have my legs elevated for medical reasons and was denied pillows to make my stay comfortable. The bed was quite firm, one would say similar to sleeping on the floor with a doona. The next day I was in pain so my partner went down and asked that two extra pillows be taken up to our room and they said no and he then had to explain my condition to get said pillows. We went out and came back and found one extra pillow which is again NOT what we asked for. The breakfast was good when they were consistent but most of the time they were out of a lot of stuff and the cold milk was always warm. Upon check out we weren't asked how our stay was just given our invoice for our stay. Overall this hotel was horrible and will never ever stay there again or recommend to anyone! Majority of the staff were rude and obnoxious! The concierge staff were the only good thing about this hotel. They all need a lesson or two about customer service and cleanliness. And the guests needs should always be a priority above all else!!

I stay here every year from December 27th for two weeks. From the first day they treated me like family. The hotel is exactly in the location that I want to be when visiting Singapore. It is clean and neat. Every request was cheerfully dealt with and promptly attended to. The staff from the concierge, front desk, room service, maid service and restaurant are extremely polite and attend to every detail pleasantly. I always get the room that includes breakfast because, though not high end, they have everything that should be included in a Western or Eastern breakfast. It's all you can eat buffet style with eggs cooked to order. I will be happy to return there again this year. In all of Singapore you cannot match the Hotel Royal @ Queens for this price.

Very good location, room very clean and spacious, hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Dinesh Raj was extremely considerate to my wife who was unwell. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Breakfast table tops needed to be cleaned more thorougly as they were sticky.
