The supervisor by the name of Lin Chun Mei have a very bad attitude problem , we stated a few time we are going on private tour but the counter staff doesn't seem to care and put two more guest in our group, problem can still be solve but only the Lin Chun Mei insist we pay $600 per pax of 23 of us to go private as our tour fees to Hokkaido is only $2738 per pax , is it reasonable ? As a tour agency of morn then decades and good reputation i wonder how they employ such an unprofessional supervisor in their office. Hope Hong Thai can get into this matter . Happens on 27/01/2018 .

I have a very bad impression of Hong Thai, the service is super lousy. Their staffs do not know their own tour procedure well, how can we trust our trip will be a fruitful trip? We suppose to pay our balance $ and luggage allowance. The staff can tell us don't pay first wait till flight confirmed. Then on the other hand they will call us and informed us if you have yet to pay us the luggage allowance $, your luggage allowance will not be process. Eveytime different staffs give a different answer to us. Luggage allowance price was quoted wrongly previously. Send email to them always havs no responese. Only when we need to pay balance $, hong thai will websms us to pay $.
This is My Last time to book Hong Thai.

Had a hand to book a package.to Taiwan for cheaper rates during Sales time*(when winter on Taiwan)in 2008.plus point offers from ex. To cheaper rates.so out ward bound to further countries gave quite good suggestion for expensive /economical or other sets of travel far away lands..but must be patient to wait for seeing a sales consultant

7 days 5 nights to Takayama.Hokuriku during CNY 2017 overall the room size is acceptable for 3 adults except at Nagoya (APA Hotel) the room size is totally not suitable for 3 adults without walking space not to mention about opening our luggages. This issue was reflected on the feedback form which was given to every passenger on the tour and hand over to the tour guide/leader on the las day. We were told that the customer service personnel will contact us but till today no one call us.???????

They have one of the best Hokkaido Travel itineraries as well as meal offerings! They even have their own tour bus in Hokkaido. It was with them that me and my wife fell in love with Hokkaido. We made good friends with our tour mates and had a lot of fun!

Kyushu Japan Trip was awesome. Both tour leader and guide were very helpful and caring. Furthermore, the agency was extremely merticulous with the performance of their workers. Definitely recommended to join this tour agency. I wouldn't mind paying more for their services and accommodation. Keep up the good work Team Hong Thai!

Very disappointed of Dec Jiuzaiguo trip. China guide enforce to buy their mountain medicine called 红景天 for two boxes which cost RMB 100/box that means you need to pay SGD 40+/person. He also tried to persuade our group to pay for VIP bus to go to Jiuzhaguo which is during non peak season on end Dec 2016.
Guide criticise Hong Thai iternary not good and suggest his optonal tour for group that mean we need to pay extra charges.
Please remember to purchase your own mountain medicine in Singapore before you go to China trip which involves high altitude.
Had a very bad experience with Hong Thai and NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!

I write to praise our tour leader, Patrick Ong of Hong Thai Singapore, who took a decisive action at his own risk at the critical moment to save our holiday from being ruined by an unexpected event. Moreover, he acted in full integrity and honesty, which really impressed me.
A group of us, total 6, joined Hong Thai Singapore’s 10D7N package tour to Greece. On the day we supposed to take a ferry from Mykonos to Santorini, we waited at the designated waiting area. However, our ferry arrived very late. People from the subsequent ferry started to crowd themselves at the entrance gate. It was very chaotic. We were queuing further away from the gate as we were following the queue. To my surprise, the ferry left after loading the people in front of the gate, ignoring the people at the back. Nobody from the ferry company asked or checked with the people in queue. With that, we were stuck in Mykonos with our hotel and tour itinerary already arranged in Santorini.
At that critical moment, Patrick Ong made a decisive decision to put us on the subsequent ferry. He bought the ferry tickets for us using his own money at his own risk. We arrived Santorini only half an hour late. We were able to continue with our itinerary without ruin our holiday.
I praise Patrick for taking that decisive action at his own risk. That saved our holiday from being ruined by that unexpected event.
Patrick impressed me again with his subsequent action as follow:
After arriving at Santorini, most of us were worried about the extra Euro56.50 ferry ticket cost. Patrick told us that Hong Thai’s company regulation prohibited him from collecting that extra ferry cost from us, as a protection for Hong Thai’s customers. As such, when it came to tipping, all of us in our subgroup of 6, (I believe the same for all in the group) gave Patrick sufficient tips to cover the cost of the extra ferry tickets which he bought for us using his own money. We did not mention that the handsome tips were supposed to cover the cost of the extra ferry tickets, but it was kind of understood.
What impressed us was that on the last day, Patrick announced that he managed to claim back his money from the ferry company. He thanked us and returned all the handsome tips back to each one of us. He could have pocketed those handsome tips as we did not mention that the handsome tips were to cover the cost of the extra ferry ticket. He acted in total INTEGRIGY and HONESTY. I am impressed by his character quality. This character quality is not very common nowadays.
Congratulations to Hong Thai Singapore for selecting / training up staff of this character quality. Also, for setting company regulations that protect its customers. Initially, I was skeptical about Hong Thai’s package tour as the price was lower than others. However, after this experience, I will return for more package tours. I also have no hesitation to recommend Hong Thai Singapore to others. It is value for money.
