I agree with the comment that the meat is probably not the best quality, but good variety.

Meat galore! If you want give steaks and ribs, look no further. I feel the food is not the best quality but good variety.

Knows how to mistreat a steak. I tend not to trust a steakhouse until I have tried a steak with nothing on, and in this case it may have been a bad choice.
Service was lax and despite notices advising to wait to be seated, I feel following that advice I may still be there now.
After getting myself seated and ordering a much needed pint, a rare treat in Singapore, I order a "Natural Rib Eye Steak". Sadly the nature of this steak left a lot to the imagination. My best guess is they had cooked it in msg to appear authentic oriental, an odd approach for an Austrialian Steak House. I say my best guess, it is my most hopeful. Taste aside, texture and appearance left a lot to be desired as well.
Lucky I had my pint of Tiger to wash the taste away, although this was only temporary as the flavour is still with me now.
As for the bill, is there anywhere in Singapore that does not add tax or service charge onto it's menu prices? I am used to seeing the ++ but no mention of it at all? My S$43 dollar bill ended up breaching S$50. Suddenly it wasn't only the treatment my steak received that concerned me but my wallet as well.
As my second attempt to enjoy a steak in Singapore, I have come to the conclusion they have no idea how to treat meat. Ah well back to the mock chicken in Little India it is then.

Hog's Breath serves up decent food and drinks, and has great tables on the side for celebrations. (It seats up to 12, I think.) Service is reasonably good.
I brought a birthday cake once, and the staff very kindly cleaned up our mains and brought clean plates for the cake - even though the cake was not bought from them. In fact, they do sell sweets and gifted a free mudpie to the birthday boy.
Parking at Chijmes should be really pricey though.
