High commission was very helpful with renewing my passport in a day as my travel date was just around the corner! They also helped me updating with the right information of the status and collecting. The whole process was stress free. Overall a very positive experience.

Visa unprocessed for 2 weeks and no person is responsible to give an answer. Hallmark of an inefficient, badly managed pathetic government. They will prove that India is the 130th country in easy of doing business..

Employees are not mature enough to keep the office user friendly. Seems they even don't know that their services create bad impression about our a country. The service levels are not even equal to my organisation service levels.
Silly part is, they ask public to take photo copies of their applications by putting $40 cents (God knows how people can get change that time and how they can operate those faulty mechines) and in the final cannot recognise photo in the photo copy😷, no ink in cartridge.
So if you are going there, better take photo copies of your applications , one extra photograph and some change. Gud luck.

Professional and extremely polite staffs. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for Locals Expats & tourists.

I've been there for documents attestation. They only accept your applications from ~10.00 - 11.45 AM and after attestation, documents collection time will be ~ 4.30 - 5.30 PM only. Make sure you carry min 4 passport size photos along with original passport/VISA and at least 2 sets of photo copies (xerox). For General power attorney they charge $35 and $20 each for passport & VISA attestation. It is a costly affair. Nearest MRT is Somerset (red line). Bus service: 36, 111. Nearest bus stop: National youth council. If you don't have photos/xerox copies, don't worry. There is a photo booth and xerox machine (paid service) inside the office.

The officials there are treating fellow Indian customers as dogs. Very rude. Indian Government should take action.

May we request the High Commission Office to put a note at Grange Road Entrance Gate with Google map & directions to Leonie Hill Entrance. Distance from Grange Road (may be 300 feet) to LH Entrance as mothers may come carrying young baby to Grange Road and they need to get further directions, as Grange Road Entrance is closed for Visa, Passport services.
May we further suggest that they should publish Leonie Hill Entrance in their website itself and give Google Map authorities their precise location so that Taxi drives do not drop us at Grange Road and then we run around..
Public Dealing Submission: 9.15 am to 11.30 am (M to F)
Collection like OCI/Passport/Visa: 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm (M to F)
Do not go to Grange Road Entrance. Come via Leonie Hill Road. There is security post there to check our bags. 2 minutes walking distance from Grange Road entrance.
Facilities: ID Photo Booth + Hot or Cold water drinking water dispenser + Vending Machine for drinks + Visa Interview Queue token + photo copy self service + SGD 2 Note to coin changer for photo copy usage

I went to HCI to get affidavit for child's passport but I was told that we do not have to have an attested affidavit from HCI. Parents can sign and send the signed one to India for passport. The staff there was helpful in giving proper information but it would have saved a lot of time if the website was updated appropriately.

Security guard is just doing his job. Take note of the timings as posted by other reviewers. Had my emergency visa done here quite smoothly.
They dont pick up calls though.
Subin Mohammed Amir (21/03/2017 05:03)
I visited there for document attestation. Before going i checked the timing through google map and its shows 9:30-5:30, so i reached there by 1240. I reached the entrance gate and i saw one security staff coming towards me. I told him that, i came for document attestation. He suddenly showed me the the timings which is fixed in the gate. So for my info i asked him, HCI works for 930-530 r8 ? He replied to me in very unprofessional manner. I dont know what is wrong with him !!! It seems like he doesnt like visitors visiting HCI. HCI in every country represents our India, our culture, but this guy spoiled all the image. If someone from the top in HCI is reading this message, please inform the security staff regarding the same. Atleast tell him to be polite to public who come there for help.

The High commission should be sensitive to queries coming from foreigners on application/extension of business VISA...foreigners are doing us a favour by investing into India ..so let us be humble and open to their feedback and give them all the support.

Not once but twice got tatkal service passport in quick time for me and my daughter. Very helpful staff too, even called me to check with some query.
Things have changed a lot and very efficient now.

Average service - not too bad...and can be streamlined and automated.

As Indians we take every single opportunity out to be disappointed with Indian service. Staff there is really helpful and patient, the queue system is good except for some of the people using it never actually follow it. In spite of this staff usually responds in a good way. Way better than their counterparts back in the country.
