Quite a nice hotel overall i guess. The lift and corridor a bit run down but the room was quite nice. Small but nice

Pros:
1. Location is good. It is just 1.8 km away from USS
2. Cleanliness is very good.
3. Room service is good
4. Budget hotel
5. The microwave is available at the front desk
6. An electric kettle is available in the room
7. Complimentary tea and coffee
8. A small refrigerator is also available in the room
Cons:
1. Standard queen size room is too small
2. No balcony in the room
3. Just a closed room with no outside view of the standard queen size room
4. The standard queen size room is too small, so If you are with small kids don't go for standard queen size room.

The room is small and not worth for the money paid. There is no king size bed available or any upgrade or whatsoever. Read few review on the staff being friendly; not my personal experience. Their service is not timely and they are not apologetic in any way. Disappointed!!!

For a budget hotel, this is a good deal. Small room but Very clean. Minus 1 star for the location-transport and food is not easily accessible.

Our stay in this hotel is very accommodating. For tourists, please note that upon check-in, they would require you to deposit SGD 100 security deposit. Don't worry as the deposit would be returned upon check out. The staff is very good especially the cleaning lady. Kudos to her and the room itself is nice to stay since our purpose is to just sleep there because we are out in the city most of the day.
Great stay and the value is worth it.

Unlike the pictures on the web, the room I stayed in is as small as a prison cell, but clean and had the basic utilities. I had to pay S$15 for breakfast which should have been included for the price that I paid which was almost S$100. When I decided to extend for one more night, the rate went up by almost 50%, which was a bit hard to believe. You can do your laundry and ironing on the second floor but laundry alone costs S$5, drying costs another S$5. The staffs were very friendly and helpful which is what I like the most about this hotel.

Would prefer to give less stars we never completed our stay here it was not to our cup of tea.

Good location to get to USS and Sentosa and okay room size.
They have free portable wifi. You don't need to rent one at changi.
Their breakfast buffet does not have many variation but are good.

Favorite affordable hotel near Sentosa. Tiny and comfy rooms. I never got to use their free cellphone/internet though. Had to rely on my own phone. Walk in the back to go to the nearest Food Court/Kopitiam.

Bare minimal hotel providing a night's stay. Rooms are not sound proofed and noise from the main road will travel up to the rooms even well after midnight. Cable television only has limited number of channels, does not have local channels either. Place is located just 2 bus stops away from Vivocity and Sentosa which is a plus.

Aircon and building is a little old. Sheets, pillows and blanket have some holes and are paper-thin. Water heat is good though. Location is out of the way, about a 15-minute walk from vivocity. Free water available from dispensers and some biscuits at the lobby. Walls are thin and a running hairdryer can be heard all the way from the lift lobby

Located outside the main city centres but very well connected by bus. Surprisingly close to Sentosa and Vivo City. The hotel is basic, clean and we'll maintained. Good, not perfect, to touch down for fast-paced tourists who would mostly use the room sparingly but rather be out and about in Singapore. 3.5 on 5!
Robert Eischen (19/07/2017 04:03)
Not so nice. Plus they wanted to charge us an extra night for not leaving in the afternoon on the third day when I in fact paid for three days. Food is good though. A mini buffet.

Not fancy, but good service! Great service! They searched my room for a missing watch after I left, even helped look under the bed for me. I found the watch elsewhere at the end, but they were very kind and helpful.

Great location with lots of transport available to explore the city. Can't really fault the service. The main problem for me is that the doors to the on suite bathrooms are more like gates, they aren't sealed and there is no lock. You can smell if someone has been to the toilet from your bedroom. The WiFi from what I have experienced has reached a max of 120 kb/s and drops out fairly often an peak times. If you are staying for the location it's fine, but don't book it for luxury accommodation.
SwiftTsunami (12/07/2017 06:02)
The Rooms are small. The toilet door doesn't shut and the staff aren't very welcoming but the area around the hotel is nice.

Room aircond not working, no room for exchange, aircond was not fixed even though complaints have been made

It is near almost to everything in singapore... there is bus sratiins nearby... but the rooms are tiny and breakfast is bad

The room itself was small but very nice, and very clean. The bed was so cozy. The only problem is the fact that I went my entire stay without a hot shower. I notified the front desk three times that there was no hot water in the shower, nothing was done.
Also, Harbourville Hotel is a bit far from centre; you have to take a bus to Harbourfront MRT Station, minor inconvenience, as Singapore has an amazing transit system. So if not for the hot water issue, I would have given this place a higher rating.

Pros:
Very good location considering the budget price. It's not scenic, but it's very well positioned for a tourist - You are one bus stop away from a mall that gives you access to several bus and train lines, including the monorail to Sentosa Island, which includes Universal Studios. Also, you have good travel times to the Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay.
The rooms are small but clean.
Excellent room prices.
Pretty good hot breakfast in a plain but pleasant open air patio. Or go to the mall five minutes away, it has a huge food court in a cool faux market style.
Very helpful front desk.
Free Wi-Fi.
Cons:
The mattresses are quite hard.
We had a couple of minor room issues, but they were very responsive in getting them fixed.
The exterior is dated, if that matters to you.
Overall:
Good option on a budget.

It has been a real disappointment for me this year as I have been a regular guest due to my business for the last four years. The staff have never been friendly towards me despite my regular patronage and one Singaporean staff member even gossiped about me behind my back when I made a genuine complaint about a certain matter. She assumed that I had gone into the lift but I overheard everything she said about me. After this nasty experience, I have decided to use another hotel.
Aaron Gayvin (02/10/2016 07:33)
Decent room rates for a moderate room size. There's a distasteful smell at the room corridors. The overall structure of the hotel is very narrow and is a little unattractive. I recommend this place for a quick stay, just to rest the night and move on.

Love it! Clean, great amenities, and they give you a smart phone to use during your stay, with calls and data

Not the best location but still close to some attractions e.g. Sentosa.
Rooms are small but clean.
Getting a good Wifi connection is a bit tricky!
Ho Keong Lok (09/04/2016 15:24)
A good hotel, clean, but dated facilities... small is very small, unfortunately. Other than that, everything is pretty good :-)
Fei Fei Chiam (28/01/2016 13:56)
Located seemingly isolated, but actually very closed to Sentosa, Chinatown. This area is nice and safe with St Teresa Church and Dong Yu Chinese temple around.
Adnan Mansur (28/01/2016 01:53)
Pros:
- Conveniently located near Sentosa Island (about S$9 taxi from Sentosa to this hotel).
- Friendly staffs.
- Halal breakfast
Cons:
- Room a bit small.
- No extra pillows.
- No bottled drinking water. Need to go to 6th & 8th floor to get drinking water from machines.
- Bathroom with frosted, partially see-through glass door. And the door and enormous gaps in between the door frame.
