strong cigarettes smell around the corridor and inside room. But staff is helpful to change room for us.

For a over-nighter, this hotel provides value that is hard to beat. Facilities are well maintained. Rooms are generous in size and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive. At my last stay several weeks ago, I had left a bluetooth speaker. To my surprise, they called me and told me that they had recovered it. Kudos for the honesty and going the extra mile to retrieve a personal belonging left behind.

Quality of service in this hotel is not a concern for its staff! They have no regard for their guests experience! I requested for a room with windows, I got an inner room without windows! I requested for high floor room, they gave me a room on the 2nd floor!

Check in late n was upgraded. Rooms was huge n had a nice view. Staff was friendly n helpfull. Will definitely come back again. Keep it up

Stayed for one night. Reasonable price. Room with 2 queen size bed, nice and comfortable. Easy access to town.

Worst hotel in Johor Bahru!!!
Don't be conned by the photo of the exterior, the hotel has the WORST receptionist team ever.

We paid for our rooms for 2 (two) nights and they have sold our room without our consent nor calling us or email us to notify us.
We are okay for the no show explanation, but later the front office fatso shouted to us, exclaiming that it was our own fault.
The oversized gentleman named as Ryan shouted at us though he was not the one who attending us. Very very professional!
We called up to their Front Office Manager (named Ronald) and he did not apologize for the manners of his staffs, he is not even interested to LISTEN or UNDERSTAND the whole stories, he try all the best to correct us, saying that HIS STAFF CAN SHOUT AT US. If you are not happy you can always stay at other hotel.

This hotel is dangerous, shabby and the surrounding is dark and dangerous.

NO MORE HALLMARK REGENCY FOR LIFE

URGENT NEED OF CLEANLINESS.

Room 301.

1)Dusty and Dirty Room and bed everywhere.

2) mold growing in bathroom.

3) phone has not been clean for many years. The dust collected can snowball into a cottonbud.

4) safe do not work as previous guest did not unlock.

5) ask for extra luggage rack since it is a family suite for 4. Said only entitled to one per room.

6) bellboy or hotel service man sitting on the sofa in lobby playing with his feet and rubbing on the lobby sofa seat. Feel like vomitting.

7) Extra mineral water, extra towel, extra anything need to be charge. So don't expect anything.

This hotel need a change of management. They need to know what is hotel.

Please do not come here.

Stayed for a night, and my experience was good. The front desk was polite and gave a great help, by giving informative guidance.
The room was neat and tidy. Complimentary products were provided.
The staff greet morning, and morning paper's was given, as per request.
Breakfast meal provided was somewhat exceptionally good, however, should have provided dressings for the salad.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with my first visit. I hope Hallmark Regency Hotel maintain their standards and keep up with their good work for my next visit.

Room 512 Family Room, First we check in was feel comfortable then toilet can't flush and bed was not so clean , and they after 10PM WIFI won't work then we go lobby ask staff say will repair ASAP but they never repair or something till next day morning 10am have WiFi access, and the breakfast buffet was poor service no egg and folk and spoon was dirty, it's Muslim we take more food they show angry face and rude ask what my room number , Anyway room was good but service very bad and rude.
Price was not so worth it.

The only thing I find weird is the hot water if you really need it... After you flip the switch... You gotta wait awhile... Because according to concierge it has to be cooked first...

Room is clean. But overall building looks old. Very close to KSL city mall and Pasar Malam at night (only on Mondays)

Breakfast is so freaking bad, no omelette ! Rule number one you must have omelette chef for breakfast it is for the kids. And you put a "krupuk" in your main food ? Are you kidding me ? For hotel caliber like this, this hotel has a most awful breakfast.

Honest review. first the front desk is kind and nice, they realy do their job perfectly. And then the room, is so freaking huge and clean. Me and family realy enjoy sleeping. For the shower room the water pressure is nice and the hot water works fine so is actualy great hotel room. What this hotel must fix is the breakfast quality, the breakfast in this hotel ruining hotel reputation. 4 stars for the hotel.

They had a Legoland promo which was why we booked this place. The rooms were spacious and there was a nearby food center where we ate our dinners. Their breakfast buffet was OK, too.

Hotel is good. Food is standard hotel. Near ksl mall and pelangi mall.
But we cannot enter room until check inn time.
Room is large area, tv channel is good.
But in 9 pm o'clock when cleaning service clean karpet near lift, very bad smell in area

I booked a "Deluxe single room". No window, dirtiest room I've stayed in since I left Africa, and even most of those places were more enticing. The room was cheap though.

The concept here is "value for money", so don't expect top-class anything. To me, it's just a place to stay.

Room are large. Comfortable, but our room have no windows, I hate that. Book 2 rooms, one for my parent and their room have windows. A room with window look a little bit larger. There were no water kettle inside the room but there were hot and cold water dispenser nearby the lift.

This hotel is one of Legoland associated hotel. You can book a transport to Legoland from here.

The lift was very small.

Breakfast is acceptable. Standard breakfast and nothing special about it. Not much variety.

Overall, acceptable hotel for family and for those who plan to go to Legoland.

1. Counter lady told me all rooms are non smoking. While i woken up by foul cigarratte smell.. worse exp ever.
2. Most rooms are not with windows. Which makes staying there not pleasent.
3. There is no indoor parking. All outdoor parking. Which is alright compare to the cigarratte smell.

Had a good stay. Hotel team were friendly n prompt in their services 👍. However hotel guests need to be advised to park their car ethically. 👎

Worst customer service ever at reception counter. The receptionist show bad face and behave very rudely. The room condition dirty and smell unpleasant. Difficulty to find parking. I staying in one of the room in third floor and the door open and the toilet faucet tun on by itself when I went back from dinner. There's a weird incense smell when I visit the toilet during midnight, which we don't smell during day time. Also the bed vibrate by itself without anyone moving it. Highly not recommended to staying here since you can find better hotel nearby.

Please rectify these matters;

1) Internet (wifi) is the worst in a hotel I've experienced. 3 Hours of complaining & waiting (12pm-3pm)and all the front desk exec. could say is "technician already went up to the floor & reset the modem, he tested it on his phone and its working". Yes its working, but would you like to wait 10-15mins just for the gmail's login page to load. If you're not willing to invest in providing good wifi, don't advertise as wifi ready hotel.

2) 1st night I checked in, I went through both bed sheet & comforter, & comforter came with 2 blood spots. I'm sure it has been cleaned prior but do set your standard higher by telling your staff to check & refuse usage of such materials.

lousy never again !!
on 11th August 2015 around 2am, i complaint about the door slamming noise, that happened many many times with quite a regular time interval, near my room (105) on the 1st floor to staff at front office. he couldn't do anything as he also said "i work here alone at front office not working on 1st floor" and i can't even find a security as he said security was on his off day.
so what kind of hotel is this?
i have to take this issue into my own hands?
remembering I'm a foreigner, i still hold myself. if this only happened in my country, i will make sure the hotel management fired that sissy unresponsive staff.
what a great stupid hotel.
better do some staff training.
please check your CCTV recording to confirm my complaint.
what good do i received from telling lies?

I have 2 room & I ask for 1 Chinese newspaper & 1 English newspaper, they staff tell me no extra, and the face is sour. We as a customer, can u smile?? or u should say i try to get it for u, the staff tell me no extra that is your problem, is not my problem, this is servicing line, u should help your customer to satisfied is not reject your customer request. They make the mistake and show me the sour face.... I have their member card, before make booking, i did call & ask can this card use for this hotel, the staff inform can't, when i arrive i ask the assistance manager, she inform me the card can be use here, this is their internal problem, your new staff don't know that your hotel have the card, then please don't advise customer wrongly. the mattress is spoil and get fall down... Ur staff Ms jasmine who check in for me, and ask me about the newspaper, is your mistake or my mistake?
