I had recently went to Jurong GateWay's HSBC Branch around 9.30am to cash out a cheque. A Filipino lady attended to me after scrutinizing the two cash cheques. I was told to wait as there were some issues with the cheques.
The Teller took the cheques to the confine office for reference. She attended to me only after being approached again on the status of the cheques. Only after waiting an ample of time did she informed me that there was a technical glitch - reasons disclosed.
I then requested to have the cheques back and left the premises at 10:30am. At 11:20am, I received a call from a bank staff to inform me that I would be able to withdraw the cash cheques. This process took the bank an hour to resolve.
The service that I was given was unacceptable and has caused me great inconvenience. This will be my first and final visit to Jurong GateWay's HSBC Branch.

Terrible. Cso on phone told me that i can open savings account, so i came to this branch and waiting time is terrible. Finally i was told must wait 2 weeks to open SAVINGS acc and get DEBIT card and still subject to approval woah! thanks for wasting my time dear CSO. Btw, how come this atas bank still have DEBIT facilities and SAVINGS account that peasants like me still can qualify? HEHEHEHEHE
Oh a card more suitable for travellers with hotel benefits still take 2 weeks to approve? I humbly offer myself to be headhunted for 100k a month to replace whoever is in charge of handling card benefits HAHAHAHAHAHA

If I have my way, I'll give this place a big fat zero. Waiting time is completely too looong! Gave feedback to the staff, and they took it lightly. Never again I'm gonna bank with HSBC.

Can't wait to knock off work on time as compared to other banks. Staff were rude especially a staff named Mary Chan. This is not the tone and attitude they should handle with customers. ZERO rating to be exact.
