Great coffee good service and very good natural light that makes brunching a whole lot fun.

Aurelie Grison (13/04/2018 19:30)
Good food and atmosphere but the service is quite long...

Coffee is decent! The lunch crowd can be quite big and noisy on weekends so if you want some peace come early or much later or head to the other cafes nearby! Iced drinks are $1 extra which is pretty expensive! Glad they accept Pay!

Mains / brunch items are really on point but desserts aren’t fantastic. Still a very quaint and nice cafe to be feasting in! The matcha latte is worth a try too.

Food was good! Coffee was good! We had the Rosti and pulled pork burger and nothing to complain about. Got there around 10am on Sunday and we were the first then people started streaming in fast.... amazing with the entertainer app deal. Would definitely go back again.

Agree with another reviewer about a rude waitress. She started just saying “table for how many?” But we really couldn’t catch till a few seconds later. A little smile for the awesome Sunday morning would be appreciated.

Came here for a nostalgia of American brunch. And it was definitely worth the visit. Also happy to have their coffee, highly rated by the community as well. I had the coconut latte piccolo and the long black my friend ordered was like the good kind of good specialty coffee. The bagel was very authentic and satisfying and is now on my must-have list for this place :P
Went there two weeks in a row and will do that again :)

Good pumpkin pancake with smoked salmon. Very filling. One waitress was quite rude - "what do you want?" When looking for tissues. Or "table for?" "Table for???" When I just wanted to check with a friend if we booked.

Very cool, isolated upstairs location with friendly staff. The coffee and tea were good. Lot of space for laptop work and some outlets. Free WiFi.

Great food. Western influence. Cosy seating. Good place to catch up with friends.

Would definitely recommend the pumpkin pancake with smoked salmon and poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce ($19). Truly a perfect combination.

Use entertainer app for one for one promotion!

difficult review because we had the creme brulee French toast, which was fantastic. good mix of tart, sweet and salty flavours. we also had the corn fritters which was a let down. the fritters weren't crispy and had a little too much batter, reminding one of a corn pancake instead.

the side order of bacon was exceptional though. slightly sweet because of a glaze. would get that again.

If they are busy ...best not staying ...2 times I went while busy they have lost my order ...they blamed fact full ...people around me who ordered after me got their food 15 minutes before me ...so not even logical ...

Food arrived over 45 mins from time of order ...after I chased ....not even a complementary drink offered (basic hospitality?)

Last year's post ....Great coffee and welcoming, friendly staff, spacious and airy seating ...worth climbing the stairs ...

Great food and cosy place with friendly staff, good for working or meeting with friends

Good coffee. The earl grey ice cream is nice. Brunch is okay

I'm a brunch/eggs benedict lover and the one I tried here is in the top 3 of my faves in the city. The Salmon eggs ben pumpkin pancake was just awesome! The size/serving is really good & the pancake is fluffy & tasty. Overall a great brunch dish. Highly recommended!

Good food, but service was slow and some items were forgotten...it was recovered but it did impact the eating experience when some get served well in advance of others

The place was crowded and noisy on Sunday and a bit warm too. Ordered Brulee French Toast, quite long wait for the food. All the 3 pieces of toast were charred due to the caramel..got to remove the burnt portions hence not much left to eat. Have to order sides in the end, and spent more than $30 for lunch. The sides - sausage and mushroom were tasty though.

Nice atmosphere, waffles with ice cream are nice, but a bit less crisp than I'd prefer. Great place to relax and enjoy an afternoon coffee.

Boris Hajduk (04/03/2017 03:38)
Very nice place for a weekend brunch. The pancakes and the granola are great.

VT Ng (25/02/2017 06:45)
One of the best affogato in Singapore with real vanilla bean. Bad macha though. Cosy, a bit noisy place on 2nd floor in a nice neighbourhood.

Francesca Cossu (12/01/2017 13:16)
Awesome food, nice staff. Pankakes are recommended

Erich Frankenberg (08/01/2017 13:41)
Everything about this café is what brunch should be. Somewhat hidden in a second floor, after climbing a somewhat sketchy staircase, one enters a space reminiscent of something out of Boston's beacon street. With it's high ceilings and very home-y feel, one finds a table to indulge in the classics: be it a nice sandwich or indulging in a delicious Belgian waffle, ice cream [not] optional. Coffee, ironically, is pretty ordinary, but the food and ambiance more than make up for it. It's the kind of place that transports you from Singapore, and makes you want to spend the entire afternoon nursing that hangover from last night while not-so-guiltily indulging. Don't be selfish though, pack up and get moving soon, as many other enthusiastic brunchers are waiting for your spot!

I was there just for the pasta. I find it pretty average for the taste. Can be better, though.

Price for the pasta cost $16

Musho Pea (23/10/2016 07:41)
Fun place to hang out and great service! The dark chocolate ice cream was thick and delicious.

Shawn Tay (20/08/2016 01:43)
Great atmosphere cafe located within 5-10mins walk from Tanjong pagar mrt. The cafe is located at the second level, through a door, some may have overlook it but take ur time to find your way. The food is alright and worth the atmosphere. There's electrical point at most places, great for meeting or even studying.

Jérôme Lapostolet (16/08/2016 16:38)
Great brunch place! Too bad that is is a bit hard to reach with public transports. Prices are average for Singapore I'd say.

Siân Ng (27/06/2016 11:47)
Good for working, with decent coffee and wifi. Insanely busy on the weekends with the brunch crowd. Food is a bit overpriced.

Heather Whyte (17/06/2016 13:41)
Best scrambler eggs I've ever had. Drinks were delicious as well.

Yun Jia Tan (31/05/2016 09:35)
Food is on point! Only downside is, it can get really crowded and you might have to share a table with others (which can get kinda awkward). Those that made reservations wouldn't have to experience that.

Jerry Aaron (25/05/2016 08:21)
Service is good. Decor feels quite mish-mash but the coffee is worth a trip

Veiverne Yuen (06/04/2016 05:08)
Quaint cafe with great coffee on Tanjong Pagar Road. Also serves amazing homemade cakes, muffins, pastries. The second floor space upstairs is great for a casual meeting, and even if you need a cozy space to do some work in. The music can be a little loud though.
