Cross selling to New Hires: Our Colleagues are our internal customer.
Every new hire gets a welcome pack and a list of discounted insurance policies offered by the company.
To the average hirer (Human Resource), there are no direct benefits - commission, or affected Key Performance Indicators, whether or not the new staff signed up a credit card or account with the Bank (Parent company).
Looking at synergy with #OCBCbankSingapore.
Sell to our new hires (internal customers) on #OCBCbankSingapore's products.
Apart from giving the company's welcome pack and types of insurance policies #GreatEasternLifeAssuranceSingapore have to offer (list); include brochures such as #OCBCbankSingapore Credit Card - sign up brochure, Savings Account - Brochure (for salary crediting) and Monthly Savings Account information - brochure or if there is any "All in One Products" - information pack.
If the Parent company of the new hire's company is a Bank that offers products that every professional needs, e.g. credit cards, monthly savings accounts, and other type of accounts; would it increase the sales opportunity if the parent company's product brochures are bundled with the #GreatEasternLifeAssuranceSingapore's welcome pack?
Would people be psychologically be inclined to take up the #OCBCbankSingapore product upon receiving positive news that they are hired and more receptive to purchase products to support your company, or after they started working and are stressed from learning new things and may not have the time to be bothered.
Answer: I would definitely be more receptive to buy new products, especially during the first week of the job (honeymoon period).
You may want to concentrate on #OCBCbankSingapore products that target everyone in general e.g. credit card and savings account.
You cannot force people to take up the products, but at least you tried and did your part to share.
If each new customer signed up together with his/her family and together with the circle of influence; This would mean a significant cash inflow to #OCBCbankSingapore. Think of the five figure annual salary for each customer.
Could there be some form of collaboration between the departments of the subsidiary company and the parent company in such a way, that all insurance and banks product information targeted to each person's specific needs (everyone needs a debit/credit card) could be delivered in a single package for maximum sales effect.
How can you be truly loyal to your company and be part of the company's success, if you purchase products from your company's competitors? E.g. You are working for #CitibankSingapore and you have #UOBbankSingapore's credit cards and investment accounts.
Does this show that you are supportive of your company?
Answer: No!
Do you believe the CEO is driving the company in the right direction?
Answer: No!
Do you think that your company does not know if you have other Bank's Credit Cards and investment accounts?
Answer: They know!
Do the right thing and support your company. :)
