The usual chain cinema. This particular one now employs automated ticketing. Tickets are dispensed via a machine. Pretty nifty & I think it's more efficient and quick. If you book online there isn't a need to collect physical tickets as the generated qr code enables cinema entry.

Some of the cinema theatres have extremely loud volumes. Was uncomfortable. Overall its still a nice place to watch movies at. Friendly staff.

Clean, convenient. Automated machines for ticket purchasing with a staff stationed there to help. Machine only accepts credit card and cash, no nets.

Not as great as gv vivo but still a good place to watch a movie.. And if you watch movies frequently good that be a member here

Having a cinema like this in Singapore's heartland is convenient and assuring. One doesn't have to travel far to the central area just to catch a movie. Instead, booking tickets online and just coming down in your casual clothes is enough. And right after the movie ends one can easily get home instead of taking that dreaded train ride or bus ride home and definitely no need for that expensive taxi ride home after public transport is unavailable. Going to a cinema in the heartlands definitely beats going to town.

GV in a building of its own is interesting. Escalator was not working on my visit. Interior looks old.

Quite clean, kid friendly,elderly friendly, staff is friendly. Wheelchair accessible, has fast food restaurants like Arnold and one up burger. There is a variety of movie merchandise sold with food combo. A general very relaxing place.

My personal favourite GV. Has a couple of fast food options on the first floor. Cinema is on the second floor. Was refurbished a couple of years or do ago. So comfortable seating.

Cosy comfy cinemas! Easier to get tickets then town. Plenty of shopping dinning entertainments MRT buses banking. Friendly romantic ambience for intimates tourists & families.

GV offers afforable deal with the HSBC-GV cards (@ $70) for 10 movies from Mon-Thur, except PH eve which is good deal as most blockbusters are included too.
Seats are comfortable and the staffs in multiple outlets are nice and will ensure U have enough cheese when U top up $1 for cheese when ordering their Nachos... which taste the best among SG cinemas as the rest of the cinemas' Nachos taste cold and bland and I only order Nachos when at GV these days...

The movie theaters are fine but the rest of facilities are quite dirty. Men's bathroom was a mess (at least that day, that time)

Generally, I love Golden Village more than the other cinemas in Singapore because it gives off a more "family-style" feel. The free membership is also a big plus because of all the many benefits. Golden Village also has many exclusive and special events like movie marathons and anime showings. However, what docks a star for me is the atrociously long commercials before the film. It's around 20 minutes which is unacceptable.

Honestly, I love that GV is a heartlands cinema company. Easily convenient for all, especially so close to the MRT and Bus Interchange. The first floor of the building is a little warm though, cos they share it with restaurants. But the cinema lobby is beautiful, and the cinema halls are pretty nice. Seats do get a bit uncomfortable, but I guess it depends on what movie u're watching. Lol! Great movies distract u from ur discomfort.

Went there to watch Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. During action scenes, the screen was blurry and not focused. At first we thought our eyes couldn't focus, but then we realised that everyone else in the cinema had the same problem.

It is great the GV Yishun had gone green in more ways than one. Water-saving toilets, ticket less systems, and easy mobile internet bookings. Keep up the good work!

Convenient. Do not have to go downtown to catch a popular movie. They usually have the latest movies we wanted to watch. Very accessible and very near Yishun mrt and bus interchamge

Arnolds Fried Chicken (10 Cinema Cineplex #01-04,). If you are living in the north of singapore. This is the nearest location you should try out for best fried chicken. The tastiest part is the skin where is is crispy but yet not too overwhelming. If you are not a big eater, don't order the combo meal as it may be too much and waste of food. Order the 2 piece chicken and drink is effort for one person.

The hall I visited is pretty small. The screens are higher up and the chairs are still comfy but i still prefer Vivo GV for the seats. All in, it's a cinema I believe I will still visit as it is near my home.

Not easy to maintain cinema profitablilty these days...overall fine cinema for normal ticketing price in Singapore. Good for spending your weekends. The carpark is quite dirty and tightly spaced.

Nice eco friendly cinema, the practice save water systeme and the aic conditional is not freeze like other cinema.
