The delivery not in time. My request of delivery time is 11:30am and they ensure me before 12pm arrival. But then when I called to check where is my food, they asked me to wait for another 15 to 20 mins. That means their arrangement of delivery is totally headwire !!!
Have to reconsider ordering from them if you have important meetings or gatherings that cannot afford to wait and allowing them to take their own sweet time to deliver.

Love the curry chicken and curry mutton... taste great! Noticed many reviews on delivery disaster so I have been buying it directly from the factory at Ubi area. Price abit steep but the bread and curry is great!

My sister had a couple of golden pillows left over from an afternoon gathering with friends. (The food from Golden Pillow arrived typically late, at 5:30pm.)
I was lazy to cook dinner and agreed to take them, so my brother-in-law brought them over.
I did hope the buns had at least improved somewhat from the last time I had some a year or two ago, but they looked the same -
Flat, dry and burnt bread.
Bland, watery curry with a minuscule amount of unseasoned meat and no potatoes.
I was hungry, so I decided to at least try it. Took one bite and had to stop.
I'm a fat guy who loves curry, and I hadn't eaten since 2am last night, having woken up really late. I was HUNGRY.
This food was free, and free food is supposed to taste better.
And somehow these buns still failed to make me want to eat them.
It wasn't always like this.
The buns were fantastic the first few times I had them over a decade ago.
Fluffy, fragrant bread.
Much thicker curry with generous amounts of meat and gravy.
Maybe around 6-8 years ago, something changed. The buns started tasting different.
It became less worth the wait, but I'd still come across a golden pillow bun from time to time.
They tasted gradually worse.
Today's buns have just made me determined never to touch another one again.
Seriously, it's just curry and bread. How hard can it be to make these two components right?
Readers - If you're craving curry and bread, buy a curry from an economic rice stall, and a couple of delifrance baguettes instead.
Even better- Given you would have so to wait so long, why not just go and try cooking your own curry?
You'll have a better meal, made by people who care more about the quality of their food than whoever makes golden pillow buns nowadays.

Should have read the reviews before order. Delivery time 5-6pm. At 5pm their Delivery Order Summary shows they are delivering...we kept waiting until everyone have finished the reunion dinner. At the end they arrived at 7.19pm. What a horrible experience, a star rating is too much for them.

Golden Pillow seem to have a bad review for a few months. I had ordered my food on 14 Feb 18 and the delivery came within an hour. Out of my surprised the service was fast and the food was well-prepared. The place they need to improve is to delivery the food to our door step like Deliveroo/foodpanda than we need to collect at any carpark or pickup point and their chinese auntie operator can be more polite and be more trained on customer service.

There's no way you can feedback to them how they screwed up your orders or delivery. Their website don't seem to have any contact details for customer service nor are they responsive in their facebook page.
First time I ordered, I ordered fish curry but i got chicken curry. Was very annoyed, but everyone makes mistakes so I did not pursue.
Second time I ordered, they got my drinks wrong. Asked for no ice and 100% sugar, they gave me 100% ice with something less than 100% sugar. On top of that, they screwed up the bread. I have much less bread than the first time I ate, and the bottom had a large hole which wasn't there in my previous order.
Food is good, but these lapses in customer service ruins the entire experience. What a disappointment.
