a place to be in Orchard if you are looking for reasonably priced watches, cameras and food. The place is packed with Philippinos, little Philippine it is ! There are good Indonesian food too within the complex.

The Thai food is great and the things that you want to buy in Thailand can be found here and those of you who want to travel to Malaysia or Thailand can buy the bus tickets.

Love the place. Authentic Thai feel about it but in the centre of Singapore. Mookata restaurants are good value and a must try. Can get a little rowdy on the weekends.

Little Thailand. Has the best authentic Thai food in Singapore. Go before its gone. It might get redeveloped soon.

This is a rather old complex in S'pore. There are quite a number of money changers for you to hop from to get the best exchange rate. However, some money changer might not give you the same rate quoted earlier if you were to go back to him because he knew you were comparing. Besides the money changers, you can find tour coach companies like Grassland Express, eateries such as Thai restaurants and Thai shops if you are looking for all things Thai.

Can get most things here. Good deals for overland tours to Malaysia and Thailand. There's also a good supermarket dealing mainly in Thai and Vietnamese goods. Though an old shopping centre it would be a shame to see it pulled down. It has a real atmosphere not found in many new malls.

Good place for mokata and other authentic Thai food. There are many shops selling Thai amulets. One may think that Golden Mile seems a bit dark inside but it is because of the building is getting old. There is nothing creepy inside here. Flowers for offering to your God is rather good price here.

For authentic Thai food, this is the place to come. But it's a very basic & old building. Thai workers congregate here for their basic F&B needs, meet friends, & catch a bus to Hatyai. Locals also come here for buses to M'sia & Thailand. The Thai pubs & massage joints are also popular. Parking is aplenty in the basement.

One of the older shopping malls. While the building and architecture is quite unique, it is not best place to hang around - it is quite dirty (for Singapore standards) there are number of shady. KTV place and fights at evenings/nights happen quite often.

This mall is over 30 years and unchanged. A place to eat the nest Thai food and do Thai grocery shopping. Tips the food that's sells the best is the store that looks the oldest. And those newly renovated shops. Stay away and keep the.money will be a better choice.

Feel like in Thailand over here. The building is historical being completed in 1973. Lots of Thai food and groceries. Locals seem to come here specially Mookata and to take coaches to Malaysia.

A shopping centre with many Thai restaurants/ Stores. This is also a major bus terminal/hub for connection to Malaysia.
There are many bus companies to choose from here, better to book ahead of your travel date to secure your place on the bus.

This place has some of the best authentic Thai food available in Singapore. The supermarket here also offers a range of regional food products unavailable elsewhere on the island. There are also other shops dealing with regional products, and numerous travel agencies.
It also has unique architectural value, as one of the first mixed used developments built here. It is also one of the most prominent exemplars of modernist architecture in Singapore. One would be well advised to visit it while it still stands: it is a leasehold property and may be redeveloped anytime within the medium term.
The views available from the apartment floors on the higher levels are unparalleled, affording a panoramic view of the city. One can also view the National Day fireworks from these upper floors.

Plenty of delicious authentic thai food. For those interested in night life you can find rather affordable entertainment venue here.
Ru Chern Chong (22/07/2017 14:26)
Little Thailand. The nickname explains itself. Home to most of the authentic Thai food here.

I'm a Thai food lover, so I used to come here quite often. Especially for Thai boat noodle. Many fresh vegetables are also available at the super market upstairs, so after eating here we bought the fresh veggies back home. I see a few Thai message at 3rd floor (but never tried before), and a number of disco, pubs and clubs are there as well. Food what famous right here is Mookata Thai BBQ. Mostly the foods are cheap enough and worth for money. Try to avoid weekends especially after 4 pm (will be very crowded).

Place to get long journey bus to Malaysia.. Seem like little Thailand. Variety of Thai item and thai restaurant can be found here..
Terence Oh (24/05/2017 02:41)
Little Thailand. What's not to like? Boat noodles, Thai restaurants, Thai disco, money changers, Thai convenience stores. Just be ready for the authentic sights and smells, and lots of locals and Thais.

Authentic little Thailand in Singapore. The Thai food here is really authentic and delicious. I really like the Mookata here. The real deal as compared to those in the heartlands. There is even a large Thai supermarket here selling authentic Thai foodstuff and groceries as well as numerous other smaller Thai grocery stores. However, be prepared to pay Singapore prices for Thai food and groceries.

Good to buy thai spices fruits etc at thai supper market. I normally buy fresh green and red thai ingredients here.

Come here if you are having craving for authentic Thai food, try Beer thai restaurant - they have the best basil pork in town. The place is quite dodgy and I'm not sure about the hygiene tho
Yasser Mohamed (21/02/2017 10:56)
There would probably be only 2 reasons why you would visit this mall.
1. You are taking the coach to parts of Peninsular Malaysia.
2. Your one stop shopping mall for all things from the Land of Smiles.
Soak in the sights, sound and smells. Definitely a go to to satisfy your Thai food cravings.

Cheap and good authentic Thai food. There are a few restaurants at the complex but my personal favourite is the restaurant beside a hair saloon at level one. I don't quite remember the name of the restaurant . But have a bit of patience to find the restaurant and you will be reward with the best Thai food in singapore!
Kanghao Yu (28/12/2016 11:38)
One of Singapore's older and more run-down malls, this is still the place to go to for all things Thai. Has great Thai restaurants on the first floor.
Hux Siah (27/11/2016 06:53)
Golden mile complex is the "Little Thailand " of Singapore. Plenty of authentic Thai food restaurants and even a supermarket selling imported Thai groceries. Thai themed drinking joints and pubs are also here.
This is also the place to catch most of the express buses to Malaysia and Thailand.
Raymond Seah (24/10/2016 01:25)
Authentic Thailand cook will prepare your food for you. Their noodle dishes are fantastic. Just go to the restaurant with the most customers. You will not go wrong. The smell there is something you have to bear with. Some fermented food served, so the smell cannot be avoided.

To summarize: Mini Bangkok.
It's a spectacular smorgasbord of Thai restaurants and random little shops selling everything from Thai bath/hair products to ointments for Muay Thai fighters. Large Thai supermarket on the upper floor as well.
My new favorite restaurant in there is Dee Tongue Thai by Rung Mama. Great, authentic home-style Thai cooking. Very reasonably priced and large potions.
The complex is old, grimy and neon-lit. Some stairwells reek of urine (blame that on the 20cent charge for restrooms). But embrace it for what it is and you'll find many diamonds in the rough.

Lively Thai diaspora. Golden Mile Complex is a commercial venue by day and an outgoing place at night! Definitely worth a visit. I also come here often to take buses to Malaysia.
