Why is there a difference in pricing between price as shown in the show room and that as shown on web site? The later is cheaper. To close the deal when the customer is at the show room, conclude the sale on the spot at the price as given on the web site. Once I am out of the Show room, I may make my purchase elsewhere.

Pretty bad experienced with them, called them ensuring stock available and made online purchased, one day before delivery date, cust svc called to postpone delivery as their stock ran out. If its usual day its fine,but now near cny and last min thing would be difficult to counter at times. I hoped info given to consumer would be precised to prevent disappointment.

I'm actually a gain city loyalty client, I have been buying electrical equipments from gain city.
A few years ago, I bought a portable aircon from gain city & their staff say very good to buy the extend warranty 4 years & I bought & pay extra of $159.
Now the air con break down & I call them without taking out the invoice, the staff check & told me that I bought in 2010 & the warranty is over.
Later I check my invoice, it stated that I bought in 2014 Jun & 1+4 warranty till Jun 2019.
Then I called them again today Monday & they told me no appointment slot & earliest slot is Thurday, another 3 days more.

Good service overall although the TV salesman is a typical one. The salesgirl from the small appliances section is better at relating use cases to my very own, she recommended an item that she herself is using.

good and friendly environment. very relaxed and easy to navigate around. petrol kiosk just beside and area is close to chomp chomp.

Excellent experience. So many things under one roof. Unfortunately not all staff are experienced in all things. Lucky we met Mdm Azizah who knew alot more.

I purchased a Toshiba system 2 inverter aircon recently and here's my EXTREMELY BAD experience :(
- On 18 Aug, I was informed that my air con installation slot was confirmed on 21 Aug 9:30-10am.
- On 21 Aug, installers arrived near 11am (1hr late). At 3+pm, the installer informed that something wrong with the Toshiba unit which one of the blower unit was not cold but he don’t know where was the fault. He referred the case to Toshiba.
- On 23 Aug, Toshiba service man came. Within 15min of checks, he told me the problem was due to wrong installation of blower model. Gain city installed one of the blower unit which doesn’t belongs to the inverter model, ie one correct and one wrong. Toshiba service man showed me the model printed on the 2 blower units installed.
- On 23 and 24 Aug, I have to made several calls to gain city hotline to ask for status update. I have to keep repeating my case whenever I made a call as their single hotline number is randomly routed to difference offices. They have no central logging system to track customer issues. They are also unable to track which unit model and serial number are sold and install for which customer. Hence they have to wait for Toshiba to send them the service report. For the 2 days, I can't get the sales person to follow-up my case either.
- On 27 Aug, I email a complaint over, till today, i receive no email nor call from gain city addressing my complaint.
- When i finally get in touch with the sales person, she told me that is their service dept job scope, she was not supposed to interfere except help me to feedback. As for the complaint email i sent, another dept will handle.
- When gain city called to arrange a replacement date, i can't even get a priority slot. No choice i accommodate by taking one of their nearest avail date but they told me that i can't choose the time ! They will call me one day before the appointment date to confirm the allocated time. After all the screaming, the guy reluctantly told me that he will indicate my preferred time slot but no guarantee.
- Today, 29 Aug, the appointment date for replacement, the installers (diff person) are 1+hr later again!
