We had an excellent experience there. Hotel was clean and staff extremely polite and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I read some reviews before we left. You just have to remember it's a hotel/business and not your home. Singapore is superb.

The location is good. There are few bus stops nearby from where you can access the attractions or go to nearby metro stations like Chinatown or Clarke quay. Also there is a grab taxi pickup point in front of the hotel. The rooms are neat and of just moderate size. The waterfall lounge is beautiful. The free wifi you get is limited up to just 1 gb per day. There is a handy mobile in the room with promotions and tickets in it. Bathroom is compact but neat. The staff and service is fine. Overall it is a good experience to stay if you get it at a reasonable price. If you find the price high go for other hotels in the area.

Nice hotel however it is not on the river front so the name is deceptive. Lovely pool area and restaurant along with cakes and coffee selection. The room we had had an excellent shower and comfortable bed. The only mark down was an aged and marked carpet which was showing its wear. Despite not being directly on the river it is just a sort walk away to Robertson Quay where the river side restaurants begin

Nice place with an awesome breakfast buffet & excellent service staff. The amenities look amazingly fancy!
The hotel also have an option for express check out where you can pay your bill at the time of check-in and just drop your key card in a box at the reception during checkout.
It also has a beautiful bar, swimming pool & gym. Massage services are also available.

Came here for a 2-days event. There was no nursing room but the staff arranged a guestroom for me and another breastfeeding mum. Really grateful for that.
The room is clean and cosy.
The food from the Indonesian restaurant was not bad too

Good hotel to stay at when in Singapore. Easy to find and easy to reach by taxi or bus. Staff are always very friendly. Rooms are clean.
The front part of the hotel has the best view. Hotel is also chosen by airlines for their cabin staff stay.
15 minute walk to Clarke Quay.
Swimming pool water is chilly and because it is between two towers the sun is often blocked.

It's a okay place..
Wouldn't want to have my wedding here though.. I was invited for a wedding event. But upon my arrival, there was no one to bring me around or even talk to.

Enjoyed the Indonesian buffet at the Indonesian restaurant. Food quality was good and with the DBS card discount, it was a really great deal. I really enjoyed the satay and and the prawns. Also, make sure you try the dessert! Excellent fruit and a very nice wide selection.

Very clean and friendly hotel and staff. Very attentive and helpful. Facilities and rooms are fine if a little dated and in need of a lick of paint here and there, but whose looking at that when the service is so good. 👍😎 highly recommended.

My room was extremely dated. There were no power outlets near the desk, making it hard to work on my computer. Odd curtain situation - no sheer curtains on the windows, only thick blackout drapes (dirty with holes) and wooden shutters. So if you want natural sunlight in the room, you sacrifice privacy. Toilet was also strange. The seat did not stay up by itself, problematic if you are the 50% of the population who pees standing up. These are just some of the oddities about the room, there were more.
On the bright side, the pool area was nice and the hotel lobby and restaurant are beautiful. Free 3 hour bike rental was a plus too!

Accessible location with good service provided. Staff was courteous and friendly. Hotel surrounded with natural greenery. Good for a perfect getaway!

This Furama hotel is old, although the lobby seems elegant, but that's in ageing style. Their room as old as their lobby, but it's well maintained.
Stayed in their executive room in 19th floor, and it's spacious. The room actually with a nice view of Singapore city, however the windows are too dirty to see outside clearly, what a waste
Susan Lennox (15/11/2017 21:12)
Quite nice hotel. Breakfast was chaotic. Location is across big road from river front but there is a pedestrian bridge.
Howard Bennett (14/11/2017 11:11)
A Great Hotel within 30 minutes walking by the river to the city centre. The nearest train station is about a mile from the hotel but you can catch a bus not far from the hote,l 3 minutes walk. The taxi fare from Changi airport to the hotel was less than 25 dollars. Taxi services are very good and very cheap in Singapore.
The hotel is very clean and has a good swimming pool. We would pick this hotel again for our next visit.

We are staying here via a travel consultant. Every thing is great but did not like that $150 was taken from our credit card upon arrival. Was not explained to my query why? Think it is to give you credit for extra room services. Will find out when we book out tomorrow as have ordered a couple in room meals. Quite taken back with the amount charged for the buffet dinner for two. $91 which included guest discount. The meal was not that good either. Breakfast good value. Room great. Staff have been good. It is a bit removed from places but that is OK. All accommodation can't be near tourist or eatery places
marty shipton (15/09/2017 00:33)
Room is great, very spacious, the travel buddy is a brilliant idea and we have used it a lot. Downsides are no bar area at the pool, the windows have horrible green stuff on the exterior so you can't look out of the window. Also minibar has nothing in it.
AK Singh (14/09/2017 09:35)
The hotel claims it to be a four star hotel but is short of good services . the rooms are old and carpets are very old.
The lounge is big but again furniture is very old no better than club entered room.
Staff not very cordial & ask to many questions for any additional service .
There is one annexe too but looks disjointed .
Isaac Lye (11/09/2017 10:01)
Food was so so. Service was great, staff were courteous and helpful. Location 2 bus stops away from Chinatown still considered quite convenient.
Si Jie Lin (02/09/2017 14:01)
Had a meal at their buffet restaurant. Really loved their Indonesian food. Lots of variety and awesome taste! A bit on the expensive side, but for the food it's worth it!

The function room of the event I attended was large and easily accommodated the 300 or so persons. However air-conditioning was a bit lacking. My wife who easily gets cold found it on warm side. The interior is dark overall probably to convey some place cozy but the dated carpet and fixtures makes it look more gloomy than cozy. The entrance/lobby is a bit out of the way and takes a bit of uncovered walking to the nearest bus stop. On a positive note, the bee Hoon they served was rather tasty and hot and cold drinks service was good. Toilets were clean but again I found a bit not well lit for my taste.

Stayed there for one night. Good, clean room, Bar on ground floor. Had visited restaurant with buffet on first floor. Various tasty good and not only Asian. Good Hotel.
Piyush Jansari (29/06/2017 20:38)
Two good things : 1) Its a premium hotel. Facilities are 5 star.. building is new.. rooms are modern with lowest rates. Breakfast is Giant including some veg dishes. 2 ) Local tour company has a desk to guide and arrange for tour with pick up and drop facilities till hotel in nice vans or buses.
Nothing bad to mention specifically.
Good 5 start hotel in budget
Tip : for cheap booking go to hotel website and book for 10% extra discount.
Rich Briggs (12/06/2017 08:32)
Rooms are clean and relatively modern, they have kettle, fridge and TV with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. The only downside is the distance from the closest tube station, about a 20 minute walk at a fast pace in the heat! Other than that it was perfect for a 3 night stay.
Akash Poddar (01/06/2017 11:00)
Large, comfy, good hotel with several facilities. Nice location, not very far away from most tourist attractions. Provides a wonderful buffet breakfast with great options. Overall loved it.
Poh Leong Kian (08/05/2017 16:22)
Pretty decent for a hotel. Decor and furniture seems kinda old thou. Hotel room weren't exactly modern nor does it comes with a view. Plus points would be it's location. Near to nightlife establishments in clarke quay. Might need a makeover to attract more visitors.

Booked a room from the hotel website for 2 adults and 2 children. Paid in full for a superior room. On arrival, i was told that the room had a queen sized bed only. I was also told that it would be uncomfortable, but that it was still appropriate for 2 adults and 2 children under 12. They "recommended" that i upgrade to a family room by paying 90 dollars extra per night as that would be more appropriate.
Room had stains on the floor. Thankfully bedding was clean. One of the bath towels was torn. Windowless bathroom did not have an exhaust/extractor. Windows were dirty on the outside.
update : the upgrade included buffet breakfast for all 4 of us and this was really good. It probably was not too bad at the end but i wish the website had been clear up front. Also the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel pool was nice. location was good from a tourist point of view.

I like food. Not just happy to eat but I only exercise so I need to eat for energy. So, when I said to my wife I didn't care where we stayed as long as it had a breakfast buffet the first thing I did was check the pics out online. Majority of the pictures were one table with some toast. Turned up and OMG very impressive, different cuisines and we'll set out.
The only issues we had with the hotel was that because it is central you have to travel at least a km or so to go to any points of interest. The concierge is more than happy to share their great local knowledge and handy tips though.

Nice place with lots of car park both shaded and open air. Visited there basically to attend church. Like a typical hotel. Nothing special that I can remember about it.

This is hotel maintained good hygiene. Food taste is ok

Decent Hotel, not a 4 star type. Morning buffet is not that lavish and has very limited options for Indians. Staff is also not that good in hospitality . Lack courtesy.
Loc Pig (18/01/2017 10:17)
It 's a good hotel for you when travel in Singapore. It has a nice view and you can easily go to Singapore river by foot.
Hrishikesh Sinkar (19/12/2016 11:42)
Amazing rooms. Not too expensive. Good for business travel as it is close to financial areas.
Paul Gardner (20/09/2016 04:04)
Really looked after us following 14 hour long haul flight from UK. My favourite was the apartment wet room with space to move around in and high powered 🚿 Great outdoor swimming pool with space to 🏊 Breakfast fare excellent choice. I give the FRF 5 stars even if you cannot see the river.
Varun Swadia (18/08/2016 14:05)
Very prompt room service, amazing spread of buffet breakfast (because thats all we got to try) slightly smaller rooms but the view is amazing. Close proximity to some of the most famous structures in Singapore.
Ngọc Thúy Trần (07/08/2016 17:21)
The hotel is shiny from outside, and common areas look convincingly nice. But the rooms are awful, even filthy, and are not even remotely close to the ad. photos.
We were in complete shock and felt totally ripped off with this booking. We booked a superior room from Agoda, and believed that we were going to a nice hotel for our vacation. We checked in and got to a room on 7th floor: a crappy, saggy, prison cell alike. It had a tiny mouldy window, old furniture, the sink was next to the bed, and a doggy looking toilet+ shower room, and it stunk! - a scam.
In shock, we tried to get another hotel on the day, but every urgent option were too expensive, and our booking was not refundable. We requested to change room and get upgraded if necessary. We indeed got a new one on 12th floor, a deluxe without extra payment. The room was better, but still no where near what is shown on the booking website.
Such a scam! That's what we feel.

Very spacious room but old furniture and equipment. Closest MRT (Clarke Quay) is a bit far away.
Loo Yang Kai (11/06/2016 06:38)
Location is rather inaccessible by public transport. It is recommmended to take a taxi instead. Service at The Square restaurant was superb, however food served was a letdown and definitely not worth its price. Hotel in general looks splendid and very clean
Michelle Goh (05/06/2016 10:00)
The place is a little old and run down. It needs a renovation to keep up with competition. However there are a couple of good restaurants to keep the place alive. Will recommend for food
Caleb Chao (25/05/2016 06:03)
Exterior is rather old but interior is well furnished. Venus ballroom is large and spacious, well lit with high ceiling and no pillars, ideal for a wedding banquet.
Marvin Burchartz (08/05/2016 21:42)
Good hotel and friendly staff. Especially Louis the porter is one of the friendliest employees in the hotel. He remembers your name and always makes a little chat. He really gives a memorable service to this hotel.
