Excellent position, close to Chinatown, buses and Metro. Very friendly and helpful staff, who couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms were clean and tidy with a comfortable bed, and everything we needed for our three nights. Breakfast buffets were delicious, fresh and plentiful with a ridiculously huge variety of choices. Pool was a welcome sight after a hot day of walking, shopping and exploring.

The check in process is very not impressive. Took so long time. The next day was breakfast issue. The hotel room was booked and the hostess at restaurant say they have no list of us. Front Office team should do better. Remember, you guys are the face of the hotel

Ate Sunday lunch buffet at Tiffany's Cafe. Food tasted very nice and had a good spread. The service pple were very courteous and made sure we had a good time. Will definitely go back again.

Though recently refurbished, the room smells old.
Asked if they provide latex pillow, been told it only for high class guests! Very unprofessional response.
Poor service quality. Asked for a bucket of ice three times, even went down to the front desk myself, still can't get a d**m bucket of ice.
Update: just past midnight, they decided to wake me by calling and inform me that they're going to bring me ice..........I'm out of words.

A great idea to stay as executive club member which we normally do twice a year at Furama. This time there was an amazing staff, with the name Dipen, he really made our stay very special with such a lovely and amazing service orientation! Even other staff who wasn't nice, he made our day!

Nice hotel. In the heart of chinatown in singapore. The hotel is directly connected to the shopping centre so access is easy and you won't even have to walk out of the hotel to get there. Location is very central and withing minutes by taxi to most major attractions. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

Service staff were friendly and ready to help. They were efficient in meeting our requests, especially changing a roll-in bed within an hour. Hotel room is spacious, along with a good view of the city.

Polite and professional staff, well situated for lots of good food and shopping but very dated and poorly maintained facilities. Rooms were very out of date and in need of renovation. The common areas (hallways reception etc) looked like they hadn't been updated or maintained since the 1980's. And for the cost there were other newer options nearby which would have offered a newer and nicer look and feel. Only reason we booked was due to recommendation by travel agent (won't use travel agent again either lol)

I have nothing bad to say about the Furama City Centre Hotel. All I can say is the rooms were clean and efficient. It was a 10 minutes walk to Chinatown and Clark Quay area. The staffs were friendly there.

One of the best hotels I've ever been.
Loved every second.
Keep the good work...
5 stars because there's no 7 or 10

Very nice hotel, close to the city centre. Rooms are in good standard, nice and helpful people at the reception.
the restaurant offers a very wide range of meals to choose (you can choose a typical Asian as well as European) quality of food really high and is tasty. Dinner is usually a buffet, so you can try different dishes and you do not have to wait.
They have gym and sauna with outside swimming pool on which of the upper floors - opened since early morning till late evening. In this pool you can spend a very pleasant time in the hot Singaporean days.

I visited the Tiffany Cafe at Furama City Centre. The food is generally great with a variety of food. The service of the staff is excellent and best of all, it is one of the few Halal certified restaurant where me and my Muslim friends can meet up for gathering. Will definitely visit the place given another opportunity. Highly recommended to others if you are looking for a place to gather for lunch or dinner with your Muslim friends.

I attended a wedding dinner on a Saturday Night in the Grand Ballroom. Overall the service was good. Staff were generally courteous and friendly. There we're serveral instances where the waiters seem too eager to clear our plates or the food before we were done with the dish. Other than that, things went well and smooth. The ballroom's lighting system could turn the whole place into a disco (which happened when serving the first dish). The music playlist was slightly dated. It was a nice and simple place.

Friendly and helpful staff. Even if you're not a in house guest, they gladly help you to the best they can. Keep up the great work FCC teams. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good service and great executive room. Very nice view. Cool that they have an Amazon Echo A.I in the room. Breakfast was quite good too. Unbeatable location.

Great hotel. Expensive, but the staff are extremely proficient, exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great position. Pool's pretty good. Beds are great, bath in our room adequate, but nonetheless there

Ate dinner at the Tiffany Cafe, buffet style. Relatively varied food choices. There was salmon sashimi, which was fresh and frequently replenished. Would go again for the salmon alone. Drink choices were not that good though.

Outlook of the building seems old, but the interior is as good as new.. not disappointing.. the hotel staffs working at front desk were helpful and friendly. Room is abit old, but still good enough. As for location, there is only one way in to the hotel and one way out. The road there should be 2 way for easier access..
Sze Khai Steve Lee (21/08/2017 15:04)
extremely good location right in the middle of the city. Chinatown is right next to its doorstep. Staff are polite and courteous. Front desk officer will make it a point to greet guest whenever we walked past.

Seriously, this hotel is no way near 4 stars. The friendly staff are the only good thing. The hotel lobby often stinks of a mix between diesel and food waste, the lifts also smell, which gets carried onto the floor lobby. The buffet is prison quality. The VIP room is so controlled, there is nothing relaxing about the 1980s fit out. The hotel carpets are really worn, there is really cheap linen on the beds. The retail that surrounds the facility is rubbish and bears no relation to supporting visitors. The retail is also from the 1980s.
Bipulesh Baruah (26/07/2017 17:33)
Reasonable rate. Helpful staff. Easily accessible public transportation nearby. Location of the hotel is good with various places of tourist interest at a walking distance.
Jim Absher (26/07/2017 17:05)
Friendly staff, rooms were OK. Hallway carpet needing replacement. Appears some rooms have gotten a makeover, however they still were lacking in plugs, note to hotels - most people have at least one electronic device that needs to be charged, add plugs to your rooms. They did provide a free cellphone for sightseeing which was pretty neat.
Property is clean, good location near Chinatown MRT, People's Park food court right across the street with hundreds of stalls. Chinatown night market a 5 minute walk away.
Room was decent size, bed was soft, good wifi.

Fantastic hotel with amazing views. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is amazing with great variety. Would definitely recommend.

My wedding dinner was hosted there. Great location. Very convenient for the guests. The Tiffany buffet is also good.
Wilson Yan (14/05/2017 12:20)
The hotel décor generally is a little dated but the location is great. The rooms have been refurbished and looks great with some rooms having bathtubs and full length glass separating the bath and room areas
Nina Kuo (11/05/2017 23:02)
Concierge staff was very helpful and polite. Always deliver constant good service. Great location. My number one choice when visiting Singapore.
Dorris Knight (03/05/2017 15:06)
Dated and worst it smells damp.
All the photos above are not of this particular hotel 😠
I have to check out as the smell is making me feel sick. It seems to be the carpet and the chair in the room where the smell is coming from. The halls smell also. The towels are a bit older, don't smell great and not very soft.
The bar is basically a small waiting area with people sleeping waiting on transport.
The paradise pool is no paradise either.
Spend a bit more and find somewhere enjoyable.
Do like the smart phone provided in the room.

Located at the heart of China town. Very convenient and walking distance from the China Town MRT. Clean rooms. Friendly staff and they are very helpful too. I stayed with my family here and would recommend it for families with young children.

Staffs are very friendly! We told them we are celebrating my 10th years wedding anniversary there and they go out of their way and gave us a card and a cake for us. Just little something to make us feel extra special! My husband and I really appreciated and we had a nice time at the hotel! The hotel itself is only a 3 star to my standards but the location is great. Just minutes to Metro and Chinatown is next street down the road.

This is a nice hotel to stay. Good breakfast. Fine rooms and kind people
calvin kuo (17/03/2017 03:08)
Convenient location, but breakfast is not diverse.
Michael Cheng (09/03/2017 16:40)
Yikes. Lobby bar stops serving beer at 1030pm. Room is quite dated and shower has sporadic warm water for an uncomfortable experience.
Nick Lapthorn (31/01/2017 22:26)
Good hotel in a great location for Chinatown and Clarke Quay. Good views towards SG Flyer from the front rooms and staff very helpful.
Extra Desires (25/11/2016 03:01)
The exterior of the hotel may look old and worn out. However, it has a decent lobby design and the food there taste amazing. Room wise, it is a little outdated and a little far from the modern era design but the room square feet is just like a typical 4 to 5 star hotel room size. If you're lucky, you'll get a room facing the Singapore River where the Singapore Flyer and the 5 star Marina Bay Sands hotel can be seen. Overall, it is a pretty decent hotel with the cheapest hotel room prices you'll get when you book a room at the hotel.
Wong Francis (28/07/2016 10:32)
The location alone is good enough reason to stay here. Room rate is reasonable, with good clean room, some with great view of the harbour. Don't be put off by the out-dated looking lobby, this hotel is better you may think.
Surya Tanjaya (25/07/2016 15:32)
Old hotel nearby People's Park of China Town. Provide all basic necessity. The room quite ok but need renovation imho
Luigi Casali (24/06/2016 13:14)
Hotel located near one of the most busy area of Singapore with road very noisy. The rooms are quiet small I took a deluxe superior with king bed but honestly the furniture are old/dirty with noisy aircon! Quiet expensive too Definitely I would say a normal room! Not the top for the price.
維鈞薛 (15/06/2016 06:26)
The location is very convenient and close to MRT station. The hotel building is not very new but it is clean. The service is good and all staff are very patient. 5 min walk to Maxwell Food Centre, 3 min walk to Clark Quay. Very recommended.
Rémi Barraquand (15/05/2016 09:52)
Due to the price I will only give 3 stars. The place is getting old, in the corridor it is quite dark... I would recommend repainting the wall in white and removing the carpet: this will make the place look less like a boat. The pool is correct. The place offer a laundry room, a (small) gym and many other facilities. The staff is friendly and the receptionist really professional.
