I just loved this place, beautiful, peaceful and you get nice view of the island. Free entry, and yet no crowd even on weekends, best time to visit is 30-45mins before it's closing time.

A bit inaccessible and you might have to walk a lot if you are not aware of roads and paths in Sentosa. Good for those interested in world politics and war related issues, not a great place for general public.

Kristofer Anderson (26/05/2018 03:40)
Great historical site. Easy to spend a couple hours wondering around.

Fenny Seravina (05/05/2018 13:07)
Nice historical place, great for morning walks with a nice view :D

Apart from it being hot. It is well with the visit. So much to see and learn. So many options to walk around and see. The tunnels are good but there are alot blocked off which makes you wonder what there is down there. What are you not seeing?

Roland Lawrence (20/03/2018 02:54)
There is quite a lot to see here. Packed with information. Will take you some hours if you read everything. If not quickly done. Interesting look at what life was like over 100 years ago for the people who protected Singapore and of the occupation of ww2. No skimping on the details...

One must visit place in Singapore located in santosa real life war experience can be enjoyed here along with the modern sky walk above 11floor height to admire the sea view.

The history is pretty amazing. Just a cool fort with cannons.. do I need to say more ;)

MEHULRAJ NADAR (18/01/2018 16:25)
Historical place brings time before WWII and after that.ake the cable car then lift to viewing platform! Well worth the effort to find and look around. Take your time, listen, imagine and reflect on what took place there and see/hear through the eyes and ears of both the Singaporeans and soldiers. The Sky bridge is breathtaking and is free.

Beautifully maintained and illustrated. Much pain is taken to put in each and every artifact and the facts themselves. If you are into such things or call yourself a history buff, this is the place for you. Come prepared for heavy hitting humidity that will make you drench in sweat. Carry enough water with you. Will need atleast half a day, again if you are into such things.

Hidden gem, air-conditioned rooms provide relief from the heat.

Jan Jury (18/10/2017 23:35)
Surprisingly quiet site on Sentosa. Nicely done audio effects.

Allen Grant (09/10/2017 03:51)
Great place to visit for history of the fall of Singapore and the folly of the so called British surpremacy. Well set out and informative.

Ben B (19/09/2017 13:36)
Great experience. Far more relaxing and genuine than the craziness of Sentosa and the resorts. The skywalk leading over was a wonderful entrance to the complex. We visited on a quiet day and had the surrender chamber tour to ourselves. Would recommend.

A look back into the history of war and Singapore's part in it. This fort is located on the Sentosa island. A good place to walk around and spend an hour or so and learn the history. Free entry !

You might run into numerous peacocks on your stroll through the fort like we did.

Jay Mathew (18/07/2017 15:38)
Takes time and effort to go through the trails. Seems like a good place to have some close encounter with nature while seeing some history

Henry de Chaillé (09/07/2017 10:29)
A very interesting monument about the history of Singapore during world war 2. A must see if you are in Sentosa. By the way, it's 100% free, something you may appreciate on Sentosa

Kapil Bhat (02/07/2017 11:13)
Must visit for history lovers. Will take you to WW II days and the way things turned up for the Island. Very well maintained. Next to ever happening Silioso beach.

Lewis Redner (30/06/2017 16:05)
Worth visiting to learn about the military history of Singapore. It's also the only free thing to do in Sentosa.

Tan Kalvin (06/06/2017 10:27)
Nice fort with many old guns well preserved and tunnels. Free entry but no guided tours. Some areas are closed but still an interesting area.

World Explorer (29/05/2017 10:00)
The fort is very well maintained. The pathway to the fort is just amazing. It is big also.

Neil Alvin Nicerio (03/05/2017 14:07)

Nice place to see the good views and war history.

Phillip Brown (27/03/2017 06:40)
Interesting glimpse into Singapore's colonial past. It's also a good place to escape from the bustle of Sentosa island when it's busy.

Jeff L (02/03/2017 01:34)
Good but the tunnels were closed on this visit. Relatively easy walk. No shop.

Matthew Fair (23/02/2017 04:58)
The skywalk combines some historical knowledge of Singapore's past with great views of nature and the city. So much is free to look around

Kenny_the _kid (19/02/2017 04:31)
I played laser tag over at the fort and had great fun... it had tons of places for strategies

Kaelea Tan (11/02/2017 10:44)

Tom Starr (02/10/2016 12:12)
Well worth a visit, being a British ex-pat I learnt heaps about the involvement of Singapore and Japan during WW2.
It's also one of the few places in SG where you can be alone/far from the madding crowd! (Also it's free!)

Eric Awuy (06/09/2016 06:49)
Take your time to see the different passages and barracks, and view the informations about the war. Very informative. The preserved areas are a way to feel the the history of the war

Awesome place. Beautiful view. Fort siloso is based on history of 2nd Worl War Heros.

Ana Woo (29/08/2016 12:42)
Something for free on sentosa! Very interesting stop, sky walk is also filled with information about the surrounding islands. The Fort has lots of buildings with very good air conditioning too. Highly recommended if you have an hour or two.

Garrick Fraser (29/06/2016 03:17)
Great sky walk leading to the fort. A chance to learn some history of the area.

Matthew Brown (06/06/2016 09:47)
Very interesting and the skywalk is a great experience.

Nathaniel Ng Li Wen, (21/05/2016 02:42)
A piece of Singapore history right here on the island. Learn how singapore fell to the Japanese during world war 2

Craig Watson (22/04/2016 15:21)
The chance to see some real history was well worth trip to Sentosa. The displays are very well done and they've done a great job reconstructing the site. The skywalk is also very cool! The guided tour covering the surrenders was well worth the fee.

Ali Cheaib (10/04/2016 18:14)
It's well maintained and in overall it's a good experience & a must see if you're visiting the island to learn about the historical significance of the place.
