Festive hotel theme is family bonding and it is show throughout the hotel room design. You get an enomorous amount of space if you just order a King Size Bed Top floor room. Rooms at the lower floor is like a 2 storey high bedroom where children can sleep with customise children bed on the top level and parents on the lower deck. The pools area is very upscale. Many pools to choose from for children to adults. The view is also nice. It is a great area for family staycation or family stay in Singapore.

We had nice holiday in Sentosa resorts. He hotel had a good deal with the hotel which included free passes to Universal studios, water park, museum and aquarium. Over all a nice hotel to stay close to all the Sentosa island attractions.

The swimming pool in the hotel was ok and needs bit of regular maintenance. The pool wasn’t that clean, could see dirt in the swimming pool.

Came here almost every year for a staycatiom
My son loves this place so much. No complain so far. Reception, housekeeping were all very prompt on request and delivering on time. Room condition were great. Price are affordable according to the service and room category. We always stayed in family room. Swimming pool is not crowded as you can also go to Hard Rock Hotel swimming pool which is slightly more crowded. Didnt try the in room dining though as it was not halal. But overall we love it here!

Awful service and bugs in bed! Return 3 times for room card problem, no sorry heard from any stuff. Terrible holiday experience.

Nice sheltered shopping street that links all other hotels and attractions. Great selection of dining options within its vicinity.

The place was alright. Minus one star for erratic hot water in the shower and another for providing only two sets of everything, for a group of three (registered) guests. Some other usual items like conditioner, lotion and razors are missing too.

The handy phone in the room, which offers free 4G data and calls is a nice touch.

It was a pleasant place to stay. The car park wasn't connected to the hotel, it requires a long walk from Hard Rock hotel or Convention Center. It was nice that the check out was extended but the car park ticket given was not. The room was big with balcony and pool view; simple decor and furniture. Carpet was with patches of not so obvious stains. The TV remote was not exactly functioning well but that is minor, just thought housekeeping could be better. Other than that, toiletries are provided, housekeeping make up the room and provide fresh new towels. 4 bottles of water, complimentary, were provided daily which is good. A mobile phone was provided for use and it is a handy tool if you do not have roaming data. It is a long walk from lift lobby to the room and it is another long walk from Festive Hotel to breakfast, which is at Hard Rock hotel. Hotel service is generally good as the staffs are friendly and helpful; but continuous learning and training should be the focus because the staffs actually charged my credit card with wrong amount when we were purchasing theme park tickets and during check out.

Update: very helpful and friendly staffs, they are investigating the car park issue. They are processing the correct charges too. Wonderful.

Room was nice and decently sized. Window faced hard rock hotel pool which was blasting music all day which can be heard if the doors are open. Room service was quick. Overall good stay

The family room came well equipped for a 4 member family. Tickets for a return monorail ride were also included. The hotel, which is situated in Resorts World Sentosa allows for easy access to the fun area and the transport area.

Rooms were neat, but there was a funky smell in the toilet. Had a birthday celebration and they arranged for a cake in the room when we returned from dinner, which was a nice surprise. Had a pleasant 3 days 2 night stay.

Festive Hotel's family room is suitable for a family up to 2-3 adults and 2 children. The bed for kids which is located above the wardrobe is a clever design and all kids would love climbing up and down. The hotel's swimming pool is closed for renovations so not of kids would love it too or not. Location is great, just within walking distance to other key attractions such as Universal Studio and Casino.

Rooms were spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated. Staff were very hospitable and quick with assisting guests. Pool and gym are a bit on the small side, but are perfectly adequate. (If you're looking for something bigger and more kids friendly, head over to the Hard Rock Hotel pool. That one has a poolside bar too!)

I didn't stay at Festive Hotel, but to meet someone. It looks great from outside. The staff at lobby are friendly and helpful. There's a Lego shop at the lobby. Casino is just inches away. Universal studios is just next door. Super convenient for people who plan to spend their vacation on Sentosa island.

Clean, well furnished hotel rooms that can accommodate two to four people. Free WiFi access and comfortable beds. Pretty no frills however so it's pretty basic accomodation.

If I'm able, I would have given zero stars. Lodged a complaint to the General Manager/Director and there is no follow up skills as well. No wonder the staff can just ignore the importance and sincerity of serving with a heart. LOUSIEST HOTEL

the Family Deluxe King Room included a sofa bed + a bunk bed + queen size bed + balcony. handy phone available in room, a welcome kit for kids when checking in with kids. nice hotel and worth the money. recommended for families with children.

No way this is a 5-star hotel. No closets, no drawers, and no mini bar. Room is dark and bathroom is darker. Lobby is more like a hallway between two other hotels, and the only restaurant it has only has one poor girl as waitress/cashier/cleaning lady during peak hour. Seriously, how is this a 5-star hotel while the neighboring Le Meridien is labeled a 4-star and cheaper too.

Tze Ching Goh (18/06/2017 11:23)
Good value but don't expect top notch service

Zit Seng Lai (16/06/2017 04:16)
Generally decent hotel with nice room and amenities. They could do with some improvements though. Housekeeping left an open beer can (presumably from a previous guest) when we checked in. Reported a broken TV remote, but instead of simply sending a new one, a staff came empty-handed to verify it was indeed not working before going to fetch a replacement. Service was otherwise great.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable beds. Good service. Family friendly. Very near to Sentosa attractions.

George Pontino (19/04/2017 11:30)
Very nice hotel and it's just within Sentosa Island. Great and very accessible hotel when you wanted go to Universal Studio Singaporeand its neighboring places like Seloso beach in just few minutes .

So I stayed in the Family Room during my visit there and I'd have to say that my favorite is really the fact that they have a built-in bunk bed for lil kiddies (and the young at heart) to climb up to. It's secretive and cozy, and it's a good cave-like resting place without the threat of feeling claustrophobic.

Though it was kinda disappointing that the fridge wasn't working, it's merely a shrug-off matter since the lobbies provide free ice-machines (and ice-chiller buckets) so I didn't have to drink un-chilled beverages.

The hotel provides an electrical water boiler in the room so if you plan to bring some cup noodles to slurp on for the nights, you're good to go. There's also the free assortment of teas, coffees and milo packets for your choosing if that's what you're into.

The room I was given had a bonus great view; overlooking into the far sights of sentosa coast and dangling cable cars in the skyline. (Take note Instagrammers!)

Overall, the experience was definitely pleasant, nothing less than I'd expect from one of the best resorts in Singapore. It's the perfect staycation if you want to get away from the daily work-stress without the hassle of flights and luggage.

So yes, if you're looking for a place to let loose and don't mind spending a bit more money for the luxuries (considering the jacked-up prices for food), you can definitely consider Festive Hotel as an option.

time to check in and out is fast. nice family room and good location if you plan go to universal studio.

Yusuf Mohammed (20/01/2017 11:50)
Super bare bones hotel with no access to the superior hard Rock hotel pool. The only reason you want to be here is the plethora of shops for eating and shopping, and of course universal studios. Trick eye museum is a short walk away and so is the amazing Marina heading towards the neighboring city.

Comparing to Hard Rock Hotel, the rate is much more cheaper but it does not mean that Festive Hotel is bad. Instead, Festive Hotel is housewarming. I like the feeling how they conceptualize 'festivie' and execute the design. I was traveling with my family, me n my sister were fighting for the loft bed.

Cameron Bendschneider (25/09/2016 12:43)
Great location, but a strange layout. It's a bit weird having to go to the next hotel for breakfast every day, and the layout feels like a bit of a rabbit warren. Deluxe king Room didn't feel very "king" size, and there was a pullout need for a second child. Bought a dolphin discovery tour from the concierge for the kids, but were told on arrival that we needed to accompany the children. Highly recommend going to the Malaysian food court for your meals for good value for money, otherwise be prepared to pay over the top expenses. Get your drinks from the 7/11 rather than room service prices.

Stayed with family including 2 kids in the Family King room. It comes with a loft bed, a sofa bed and queen size bed. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Great location and can use both the Festive Pool and Hard Rock pool. Friendly staff at reception. We had an early check-in and late check out. Had a great time though furniture looks a little worn out.

Stayed in a family deluxe room from Fri till Sun.

Do your homework if you're driving and parking here as the directions to Festive Hotel is non-existent in the RWS basement.

Room is comfortable. Bunk bed is a plus, the kids love it. Interior design and decor is very outdated. Sofa bed is noisy, especially when the kids are asleep at night and the parents are using it for whatever purposes. TV remote came faulty but was replaced promptly. TV's user interface is laggy and unresponsive at times, guessed as much since the TV's contents provider is notorious for that anyway. The emergency torchlight in the wardrobe is not functioning. Toilet is clean with generic shampoo and soap provided, do not expect C&E brand or equivalent, although you may be paying good money here (we got our room through a deal like some of the others here). The water closet is basic, no seat warmers or auto-washers. Shower is only via a hand held shower spray and does not come with overhead rain shower. Water does not seem to drain fast enough, so visitors with young children or elderly should take note of the slippery shower floor after a quick bath. Towel racks seem inadequate. Much as we like to reuse the towels by hanging them to dry, the space we have to dry the towels is limited.

Wifi is a paid service. But I do admire their honesty in charging as compared to some hotels who offer free wifi but be prepared for frequent poor connections.

The best thing about Festive Hotel is the proximity to the attractions. One of the best things to have when there are young kids in tow.

It will be a forgettable stay with nothing to shout about. But well, the kids might still recall the bunk bed few years down.

Administration sucks! After several attempts to call that the fridge was spoiled, it took long for them to come up and have a look. Finally they came and said that the fridge was spoiled and my cake was in the fridge and the worker basically flipped the nicely made cake upside down and was very rough with it till I told him it was a cake😡😡😡 so they went off to get a new fridge and took damn long so we requested for them to come back again after we have dinner. However, we waited till 8pm with several calls and nobody came up. Afterwards finally a worker came up and said the fridge was changed and without us knowing which means when we was down for dinner. Is that appropriate? That's intruding our privacy with our valuables all over the place. Bad experience!

Miko Olea (20/08/2016 01:22)
The rooms are decently sized. Got a view of Keppel Bay with the balcony accessible. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds. A short 10 min walk away from Universal Studios Singapore through mostly air-conditioned paths through the Casino.

One of the 6 hotels in the Resort World Sentosa cluster. There's a sizeable room, comfy bed, spacious toilet and clean too! After spending a whole day in Sentosa running around, it's good to just fall asleep. But their in-room TV is terrible. The latency is so bad, I'm not sure whether it's the server or the remote that is broken.

Nice hotel but on expensive side. Huge swimming pool. Average room size. No free wifi.

Rooms are spacious, although no free Wi-Fi

Awful experienced. don't waste time and money on this hotel. Booked a family deluxe room for 4 days with breakfast included. checked in with two adults and two kids below 12 yrs old.
Was surprised the hotel only allows two pax for breakfast. which means kids are not free to dine in. I was confused with room type which attract family visitor like me. I am really piss off with "Family" meaning with only two pax are allowed and expect the kids stay in the room while adult go for the breakfast. When asked and they are not able to answer correctly what is the family meant by the hotel staff. Suggest to remove the family from hotel room type to avoid confusion to the public.
Asked for wine glass and to my surprise was told it would be considered as dine in room service and need to charge.
I cannot imagine hotel in Singapore still charging for WIFI while the rest of third world country already offering FOC.
Bed are dirty, checked below bed full of dirt (do not move the bed/furniture otherwise you will seeing dust flying in the room with air-con blowing and the sofa bed itching when sleep on it. the mini bar fridge is not working. Poor staff service.
Overall, suggest the hotel management look into services improvement as this is critical to reflect the image of the hotel and Sentosa reputation. My first and last trip ever to this hotel. Good Luck to All!!

Rude staff, rooms not cleaned properly each day, appliances not working. The list goes on. Very disappointed for expensive hotel. Dont waste your money.
