I heard from my coach back home about this place, and knew I had to check it out on my vacation. They have patient and experienced BJJ instructors that have helped me improve my technique, in a short amount of time. Good vibes, and friendly atmosphere!

Facilities and trainers are awesome. Only con is that the prices are extremely steep. Not for the common and poor.

Best MMA Gym in Asia in my opinion, I have been a student with Evolve for 3 years plus. I'm always looking forward to BJJ training, knowledgeable professors who are able to breakdown and explains the moves in details.

The best martial arts instruction you will find. Amazing teachers and beautiful and clean facilities. They have classes for all experience levels, so no matter if you're a complete beginner with zero martial arts experience or someone who has been training for a while, Evolve is perfect.

EDIT:
Evolve have responded positively to my feedback and I have added a star for this. I will visit the gym again on my next trip to Singapore and alter my review based on my experience then.

I was looking forward to finding out more about Evolve gym during a recent trip to Singapore.
I emailed the day before I arrived and asked about costs of attending a class but unfortunately heard nothing back. Typically I cross gym options off the list if they do not reply but Evolve have a strong social media presence and publish a number of articles, that I have enjoyed reading during my martial arts journey so far, so I decided to drop in at the Far East Square branch and look around.
The gentleman who greeted me at the front desk took me far enough in to point me to the second floor and say "it's big". But after that I was left to explore by myself. Which is a shame, I would have liked a fuller explanation of the classes and to get a sense of the people who work there, as they are ones who make you feel you are welcome in the environment.
On the way out I asked about pricing and was told I would only be told the pricing if I did the trial class. Again such a missed opportunity to encourage me to come back full-time.
It's possible my experience is unique. As a grey-haired woman, maybe he thought I was not a serious prospect.
Reviews show that others have a good time here, and I hope other people trying it out have a better experience than I did. However, based on the above, it would not be a training environment that I would choose on returning to Singapore.

New addition on second floor is great, more space, excellent gym equipment and a boxing ring!

Great thing about this place are he facilities and the early opening hours. Perfect for a quick, brutal workout before work!

All I heard is good reviews. Experienced the greatness first hand. No hard sales, great after sale service & excellent staffs. Everyone is like family there.

I have been a member of Evolve MMA -Far east square for a few months now and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Fantastic trainers and polite staff. We are always encouraged to do better and the effects of training there help out in day to day life as well . 👊🏼👍

My friend who lives in Singapore is training at Evolve MMA. He told me the gym is super clean compare to others gym that are using stinky mat. Beside, They also have fancy facilities and beginner, intermediate and advanced classes for all types of martial arts, which is good for people who don't have any experience of martial arts. Hope they'll launch one in Kuala Lumpur!!!!(pls!!!pls!!!pls!!!)🤤

Did a trial lesson for muay thai with a friend, we were recommended this as we were interested to learn self defense. Counter staff are friendly and willing to show you around the studio. Our teacher was a lupinee champion from Thailand, he was very friendly, professional and encouraging. Brought us through basics like stances, punches and kicks. We had alot of fun and the lesson lasted about 45 minutes! However the price of lessons is too high.

i've been to a couple of martial arts academies around asia, and i'm definitely most impressed with Evolve MMA. best thing about this place is that its class schedules are perfect for anyone and everyone!
i truly believe that if you want to learn something, might as well learn it from the very best!
Morales Menon (15/08/2014 09:19)
Best damn place in the world! My everyday happy place for sure!
Filled with Multiple times Muay Thai & Brazilian Jiujitsu WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!
I believe that if you want to learn, always learn from the best & thats what Evolve MMA is about. Doesn't get better than having World Champions and current MMA Superstars train its members & making each training session a fun one =) Awesome facilities and equipment as well! The people here are really nice too. Always great fun training with these guys!
As we say at Evolve, if you want to be a Lion, you have to train with Lions!
Best on Best all day everyday!

the perfect place to start a martial arts journey. my interest in martial arts had always been limited to summer blockbuster action movies, and i never had the inclination to try it out myself. this changed when i accompanied some friends to try out a trial muay thai session at Evolve. i was taught by a very patient and funny thai instructor, who i later found out is a world champion multiple times over with a few hundred fights and stellar records. i was impressed with the way he broke down the techniques so clearly to someone that has never done any martial arts in her life, and his passion to share the sport is contagious. i joined the gym along with my friends, and it has been one helluva time, definitely one of the best decisions i've made in my life. even though i've played sports competitively for 10 years, i find muay thai challenging me at an entirely different level. i am utterly addicted, the more i train, the more i love it. it is more than a sport, it is a philosophy for living and i can honestly say it has changed me into a better person. everyone here is so friendly and down to earth, including all the world champion instructors, training here always makes my day. i cant believe i didnt find out about Evolve earlier!
