For visa purposes, queues are very quick. Looks bad when you arrive and line down steps and around corner, but line moves relatively quick. They have limited number of visitors badges (to limit the amount of people inside). So often time you waiting for someone to finish and leave to return their visitor badge for you to get in.
You start by providing your MRT (subway) card for collateral in exchange for visitor badge. Please be ready. They have pictures outside window yet so many people are not paying attention or confused. Why??? No photo IDs or government issue cards taken. Only MRT or other plastic cards (like point card). Always some confusion with people who don't pay attention then hold line up wondering when they get to front of line on what they need to do?! Smh
Get photocopies done in advance, otherwise it's 0.50/page SGD which isn't horrible.
They even have canteen for food/snacks. Not recommended.
Passport services is slow..er.... Most Indonesians can spent hours here. Blame their neighbors since so many come unprepared. You know your going to embassy. Bring all your documents including correct SGD fees and things run smoothly. Otherwise everyone delayed because so many come unprepared. Just wasting everyone's time.
Hopefully the person who isn't prepared is behind you in line rather in front. :)

Passport renewal for domestic helper.
If driving you can park at botanical gardens car park and take a taxi there.
Dress code no slipper, only long skirt and pants.
If helper contract is renewed. You will to be interviewed about the contract at level 2.
Collection of passport can be done by employer.

Despite of various criticism - this place vastly improves as compared many years back.
Agree that still a lot that need to improve - I do not need to mention any, as you can see most of it at other people's review/comments.
Suggest to have at least 2 bullitin-boards stating the process-flow, all the required/pre-requisite documents for each types of applications at the embassy - also with the leadtimes of processing, and it's respective official fees.
The canteen only sells at a very limited varieties of food. Most drinks stated at the menu are unavailable - worse as it's quite overpriced.

Get your information and full documentation right and it will be a very fast and smooth process. Get it wrong and it will be a big waste of your time
Keep a look out and be aware of the different dos and donts in the embassy.
Look online and the information are there. The Indonesian embassy in Singapore is already one of the most systematic and fastest in the world for an Indonesian government agency.
Pick up for paper after 3 days was fast and seamless

Needs to step up to Singapore standard and needs more pens made available and clear direction in English for visa. Still 1500 times better than the government agencies in Indonesia.

The staff is super rude and does not have the attitude to help at all! Required documents are not updated on the website. For those who are renewing Indonesian passport (kids), please ensure that you bring your kids' REP. You do not deserve their scolding and manners.

Tried calling them but no one answer. I tried not once but countless of times. Eh hello, if no one is picking up the phone then dont use the telephone number at all. Once i reached at the destination, their service sucks. It was so slow that i waited almost two hours just to get my documents for passport replacement submitted. The opening hours stated in Google and on their gates are different. Cmon Indonesia, you can do better than than this. What a shame jeez.
PS they dont allow you to wear shorts so dont wear shorts if you want to go here.

I had some enquiries in regards to my domestic helper and the exit letter during home leave. So I called the hotline, pressed '5' many times, voicemail were disabled and the line was automatically disconnected. Then I tried to speak to Immigration, someone picked up. I made my enquiry and she told me to hold on. For about 4 minutes I was on hold, she was chatting with her friend on the other line with laughter. After that, speaking to another person about ordering of Kueh lapis. I was finally cut off again. I can't believe this!

I called up to enquiry the procedure about my leave for my maid oversea, the operator lady is very rude without finish listening to me and straight forward transfer me to other related line. But lastly no one answer and next I keep calling but my call is suddenly end call by them.

Very poor service. I call up and the operator answer then transferred my call to the relevant department but there's no one answers my call. Even I called again, there's still no pick up from the relevant department. I don't understand the customer service hotline is meant for what as there's no one to assist on our clarification. Is very disappointed.

No one picked up the phone, I went there to ask the document that I needed the receptionist told me to check the website. I came with all the documents, the receptionist asked other documents and picture that wasn't in website. When I mentioned they said the website wasn't update yet. Make sure to ask lots of question for you are applying for, if not you will end up back and forth to this place.

Passport renewal staff are quick but expect 2 hours for submission process due to the number of people. There is a canteen serving Indonesian food right next to the passport renewal office where you can grab a bite while waiting for your queue call but the food is marked up quite a lot. Design of the building and interior feels just like an Indonesian building.

My last trip to Singapore in 2014 to get a social visa was done quickly ....with ...helpful embassy staff ... .heading over 5th December 2016 ......to do it all again .....

Trying to legalize business documents, led around in circles.
Requirements listed on their website were vastly different than what was given to us when visiting in person.
After fulfilling their "requirements", applications were rejected twice with the embassy requesting additional actions and documentation by the applicant.
Why not tell us of these additional requirements in the first place?
Almost feels like they're purposely complicating the entire process.
I'm not sure if negligent, unprofessional or corrupt but for an Embassy to function this poorly is very concerning.

Shockingly efficient, orderly and no-nonsense. I wanted to renew my passport and thought it was going to be very difficult. But it was super organized (i.e. they make you take a number and queue!) and the people at the consular office were friendly and super helpful. Great job!
Recent visited again on March 3, 2015. Once again I'm impressed with the professionalism and order. Still maintain my 4 star rating.
