East Coast Park is a park located in East side Singapore. It's very easy to go here via public as well as private transport. I had gone there with my family. East Coast Park has a variety of activities. One can cycle camp do a BBQ. The BBQ pits need to hired. There are mini beaches here for a lovely evening stroll. As such also throughout the park one can stroll around. There are food courts and restaurants here one can enjoy the local cuisine.

The East Coast Park is the longest linea park in Singapore, most of which are fronted by a beach that stretches its whole length.
All along the park, you'll find oases of f&b outlets, public toilet & bathroom facilities, gazebos, exercise areas, meditation areas and more.
The park facilities are well used and frequented... never have I seen it devoid of pedestrians, cyclists or people there just to enjoy the park facilities all time of the day and night... a testament to it's being one of the most popular parks in Singapore.
I've known and frequented the park for one reason or another since it's birth, and marvel at how it has been constantly improved through the decades.

Long stretch of beach that leads all the way to gardens by the bay. Windy, lots of space for all kinds of outdoor activities with paths for walking or biking. Lots of food options. Bring your own fun! Water is safe for swimming but no life guards on duty.

My favourite chill out spot in Singapore, especially on weekdays when it's less crowded. Great place to spot a beautiful sunrise or sunset if you're lucky or beautiful blue skies, great clouds and sparkling aquamarine blue sea. The recent upgrades means lots of dining options at Parkland Green or Marine Cove or even a nearby walk via underpass to Marine Crescent. There's also East Coast Lagoon Hawker Center and the East Coast Seafood option. Marine Cove has a new superb children's playground with variety. MCDonald's is beside it! You can picnic, chill out, cycle, walk, jog, or bring your dogs out.

This is the best place for me to walk in Singapore, very long stretch, quite green so you get enough shadow (except the last km towards Gardens by the Bay).
Because it is by the sea, there is usually a light breeze, especially at night.
Toilets are located all along at decent distance and you can refill your water bottle.
If walking is not your thing you have plenty of other activities: skating, biking, just sitting by the beach...bars and eateries are quite varied and located in several key points, same as a few big kids playgrounds.
Barbecue pits and camping spots are available (need to book online).
The night view of the ships is quite impressive as with all the lights it seems that there is a city on the other side π
If you want to eat like a local you cannot miss the Lagoon East Coast Food Center.
Over the weekends it gets quite crowded and lively (or noisy), but it's a nice opportunity of seeing how the different cultures have their gatherings in different ways.

Great place for family and friends outing. Good to relax and have picnic by the sea. Awesome view, good place for cycling ( bicycle rentals available here), jogging, BBQ (you can book BBQ pit at $20 per day & camp overnight) and also pets walk. There's play park for kids near Marine Cove and a great Skate park for skateboards lover. There's Mc Donald, Burger King , Coffee Bean , Jumbo Seafood and etc along the way . Walking distance to hawkes center, great varieties of food and drink. Especially the coconut drink. The price are reasonable and affordable. Weekend and public holiday are always crowded.

Great place for a bike ride, or jog, or walk or BBQ. You can even camp over-night. Great views of the ocean (obstructed by the ships obviously). The hawker center there is a great place for seafood and Satay. I enjoy it most for sitting and having some beers. There is even a sitting area where you can smoke.
Tristan Chng (21/03/2018 14:23)
An excellent place overall. Great for jogging and you may have a chance to catch the sunrise/sunset if there is little cloud cover.
There's great food and a big playground at Marine Cove. A great recreational space for families, cyclists and everyone else.
However, it is a bit difficult to access East Coast Park by public bus as there is only 1 bus (Bus 401) that passes through it.
Very peaceful and quiet during weekdays but tends to be noisy and crowded during weekends and public holidays especially during the Chinese New Year and National Day holidays (every 9 Aug)

A nice place to have a nice evening in Singapore.
East Coast Park is huge and spread across almost entire south-east coast of Singapore.
So try not getting lost.
Do carry an insect repellent because it is sea shore and a park so a nice breading ground for all kinds of mosquitoes and insects.
The Park has these BBQ pits. So if you are a big group you can take your supplies and have a nice BBQ party at the beach.
And yes it is Free!

Great place for family outing. There are quite a few restaurants dotted here and there, though there used to be more, like the iconic long beach and all. There are shower area for those who went swimming (wouldn't advise it, too close to the sewage outlet), barbecue area and sheltered tents there for a great outdoor gathering. Not a lot of buses go there though, so a cab might be more convenient for those without a car. If you're not feeling tired, might consider walking from parkway back and fro.
Nandun Kahandawa (29/11/2017 02:32)
Nice clean relaxing park with variety of out door activity.... Most of the people are jogging doing exercises at the park... There are plenty of food stalls available at the park so that you can enjoy variety of food items including seafood .... People usually enjoy a bath at the sea as the shallow water is present at some parts... There are plenty of places to have a fresh water bath after a swim at the swim....
florian ableitner (22/11/2017 11:36)
Really nice place for a family outing. Great for some recreational activities such as cycling, skating, swimming and sailing. Decent amount of food choices is available from local to international cuisines. Very spacey and clean as well

One of the best place to visit with family or friends. It has camping area ,cycling track of more than 10 km... quiet and calm beach, amazing sunset.. Such a beautiful place !

Singapore is a very neat and clean Country/State. This was no exception. Practically, all places in Singapore are wheelchair friendly, have proper pavements for pedestrians and cyclists, rules and regulations are followed to the hilt. That sums it up.
Ranjitha P (14/09/2017 04:16)
Amazing place for cycling and little beach activity. Best way to spend a weekend morning. Very good place for kids.
Sudani Ashok (16/08/2017 00:02)
Best place to spend an evening with family or friends. Ideal place for exercise and cycling. Very convenient and long pedestrian / cycle path along the very beautiful seashore. Convenient food court like McDonald is just at the center of shore. For kids its one of the best place to spend time and play on seashore. After 6pm its used to be awesome weather if you are very of bright sunlight and heat.
For kids very beautiful and large playground with lots lots of options is located next to McDonald.
Tony Roper (02/08/2017 14:15)
A long park that stretches along a large section of the southern coast of singapore, this is a beautiful place with many publicly available activities: picnic benches, outdoor exercise gyms with toilets and showers, beaches, gardens... it's a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or evening. Although there's not a lot of cover from the sun, so if it's a hot day remember to bring plenty of water and shade!
Chye Eng Ng (26/07/2017 06:22)
A place for walking, jogging, roller blading and cycling. The breezes at the park is strong and you could engage in activities such as wind surfing and wakeboarding.
Camping and BBQ are allowed at designated area. Bicycle and roller blades rentals are available along the park.
You don't have to worry about what you can eat at the park. There are restaurants and fast food restaurants that cater to various age groups and dietary restrictions.
Samit Bh (18/07/2017 15:35)
Great place to spend a weekend.
If the weather and winds are good one of the best beaches on any given day.
Easy connectivity on weekends with extra buses plying.
Or take your bicycle out for a good brisk ride to the Sea front.
The sun-drenched afternoons and the blue-grey waters would give a run for money to any beach side resort in the world.
The surf is good. Have fun and frolic on the beach or play the sands in your hands to create those sand castles.
There is a sprinkling of restaurants and large play area for kids. You can rent bikes here for a reasonable price.
Just one amazing place to be with your loved ones.
Daniel Rouquette (09/07/2017 15:07)
Very nice park with more and more activities and restaurants. Good place to run with water every few kilometers. Go rent a bicycle and explore!
Ajita Chowhan (06/07/2017 06:11)
A huge coastal green oasis. Follow the lanes strictly - cycling, walking, running, etc. Pleasant breeze and soothing sound of the Singapore Straits. Is hugely popular, safe and a must visit outdoor if in Singapore.
Eric Kwok (01/07/2017 16:50)
Nice scenery. Good cycling spot. Best to come at later afternoon or evening. Not too hot
Sachin Somaiya (26/06/2017 03:11)
Amazing walking andβ cycling place. Lovely breeze and views. Great to see families and kids having fun. Nice hang out places as well. Look forward to going again soon.
Jeffrey van den Brande (18/06/2017 10:08)
Offers some cool wind when you feel too hot. The park is well-maintained and very clean. Lot of playgrounds for children and you should rent a bike or roller blades to get around, it is fun!
Daryl Sinclair (19/04/2017 06:32)
A must-cycle area of Singapore.
We would strongly advise getting an Obike for the ease of it and cycling along the paths towards the Flower dome.
The journey is lovely with lots of places to take photos, stop and eat and generally enjoy a day outside with picnics etc.
The beach is nice but very messy in places due to the campers. Though i wouldn't advise coming here to sunbathe, it was an amazing bike ride and a very easy one at that due to the relaitvely flat journey the whole way.
Very easy to spend the majority of a day here.
Mi Stam (12/04/2017 08:51)
The best park in Singapore. It's great for cycling, running, skating or just walking. You can also play beach volleyball. There are many places to eat as well as barbecue pits. Tents are allowed at some places.

Went there with the kids after so many years out of Singapore. What a major change! Playground is big and spacious, but mostly for 4 and above. Would be nice if there was a shaded area for the smaller kids (below 2) so they can play freely with some protection from the sun and away from the older kids (there may such an area already but we couldn't find it).
McDonalds, Coffee Bean and other eateries just near the playground so very easy for a quick bite or a meal.
Remember to put on your hat and slab on the sunscreen.

Excellent place to cycle, do a morning jog, enjoy sceneries and sunsets with soft winds, enjoy good food at restaurants, accompanied by stays at the Chalets. Hygiene wise, the place is extremely clean, with very little litter thanks to the users and visitors of the park, and the cleaners too. Sadly, the big building where the seafood restaurant and burger king was is now gone :( overall, the park is clean & green, satisfying, enjoyable and is a highly recommended location to relax and leisure. :3

Did a organized 10K run which started at 7:30am. By far the best place I've done an organized run at (I've been to Marina Bay and Sentosa so far).

Once of the best beaches in Singapore. Clean, plenty of trees, lots of eating places, many grass are for picnic and BBQ. But some places have too much ants. Nice place still.
Vinayak Gaur (13/02/2017 03:34)
Nice park, parallel to coast. Lots of trees and birds around. Barbecue pits and nearby eatouts available. Bicycles can be rented. Good for a picnic outing.
Julian Wong (23/12/2016 10:34)
A big park with a good mix of many things to do. There is bicycle rental for you to explore the park. Cable ski for those looking for some challenge or you can simply lazy on the beach. The new play area for kids is rather interesting. There is also plenty of choice for food so decide what you want to do before you get there.

ECP is pretty much the best place to escape the busy city of Singapore without actually travelling much. The place is perfect for day out with kids or friend or just yourself. They have bbq pits and bikes on rent. Ample car park and restaurants available.
Praveen Dhanabalan (27/09/2016 08:48)
Love this place. Great place to hang out with family and friends. Great place to go for a run or cycling. There are rental shops for bicycles, family cycle etc. Great place to walk your dogs. Check out the new playground for kids. It is big and fantastic. The new food court has plenty of options to eat as well. Try going for a early morning walk or around evening.

Well one of the best park that is in Singapore. My friend and I love going there during the week ends. It is a fun place to have BBQ parties as they provide you a very neat fixed table and a BBQ pit which faces the amazing view of the sea. Another thing that is amazing is that the sea view is filled with big and long cargo ships that are very spectacular site to see in the night.
Jonathan yeo (23/08/2016 02:54)
wonderful place to spend with loved ones. The park is booming with people and with the integrated lanes all to way to marina barrage, it feels like an endless route if you want to go all the way and explore. The rentals for bikes are relatively expensive at about 8 dollars an hour on average so if you have your own bike it will be more advisable to bring it.
the eateries along the coast are more premium and the cost of food can be quite ridiculous for the quality and quantity given. I would suggest bringing your own food or eating somewhere else.
Michael Lee (29/07/2016 08:31)
Rent a bike and travel to Changi Beach Park. A few of the rental places will let you return at their branches elsewhere on the island. Otherwise, chill out by the beach, string up a hammock among the palm trees and listen to the ocean.
Be aware that lots of people choose East Coast Park to learn how to ride a bike, especially on a Sunday, so it can get crowded. While they practise a new skill, we can practise patience. If you have the need for speed, come back in the evening. It's cooler anyway!
Alvin Lim (07/07/2016 08:53)
Nice park with eateries and bicycle rentals dotted along the park. This is part of the park connector that connects from Changi Point all the way to MBS.
Kai En Chua (17/06/2016 16:08)
Good place to relax. BBQ, cycling, building sand castles, and many more things that you can do with your family.
Hector Sim (24/05/2016 13:43)
This park is very common amongst the locals and people who stay nearby. It has about 5 different sections, and each section has different stores around. Do try to walk from one end of the park to the other. It will bring you from the airport runway to the gardens by the Bay.
Zhao Shan Chee (17/04/2016 15:29)
Good views and place to take a stroll, exercise or just relax. Beaches can be a little dirty though but it has been for as long as I can remember. There are also plenty of fishermen fishing at the piers and can be fun to watch.
Pooja Bandekar (04/04/2016 23:32)
If you love the beach, love to ride a bike or roller skate, this is a fun place to go to with family & friends. You will often see people camp at East coast park. There are a lot of Food joints as well. Its a perfect place to sit by the beach, relax and enjoy a great conversation especially a little later in the night, when its quieter
