Worst care rental service ever. TOTALLY RUIN MY WEEKEND HOLIDAY. Would not even give any star if possible!!!
Booked my car on 17 Nov 2017. But when i went to collect on 16 dec 2017 2pm. There told me the car was not available. And it was still awaiting confirmation.
We even need to take cab to desaru. which many of you may know that n no one might even want to go from johor bahru to desaru.
But as you can see from the photo it shows the booking is already confirmed. Some more i put in the effort to reconfirm my booking few days before with europcar by emailing them (3 TIMES?!?!?) but no one one replied me. Is it cause i didn't rent for a lot of days? The customer service sux!
The guy just told us to go try other car rental shop. Is there any shop out there that has any car to rent on the same day...

Rented a car to Desaru. Staff very friendly. Car in good condition. No cash payment accepted. All through credit card.

Very very bad service.
Was going on holiday in malaysia with my girlfriend for a weekend. Booked from europcar online.
Accepted my payment using my mastercard but refused to accept the same card upon arrival claiming that its not a valid credit card.
Is this a scam?
The service staff provided no alternatives and told me they cannot give me the car and ask me to leave immediately as it was close to closing time. Perhaps they wanted to go home early so did not want to do the paper work?
My advise read the fine prints and find a good and helpful car rental company next time.
DO NOT TRY THIS EUROPCAR BRANCH IN JOHOR.
