I signed up the tour package to China, Zhang Jia Jie （张家界凤凰古城无购物团）with EU Holidays during the NATAS Fair 2017.
During the sign up, I was told that their service is excellence therefore the tippings to the guide and driver is more expensive than other travel agencies. All main places of attractions is included in the itinerary.
But we were rather disappointed with the service we got there. First, we were rather upset on the second day. The driver take a wrong route and we only reach the hotel to have dinner at 9.30pm. After dinner, a short night trip to the Feng Huang Gu Cheng （凤凰古城）. Because we got there too late, most shops there were already closed. The next day, we were there for sight seeing, visiting the museum and attraction there. But the guide seems in a rush, we did not had time to buy any souvenir there even there are plenty of shops there. It was crowded, we took pictures and tried to follow the group but a crowd blocked our view and we are lost. He id not come to look for us. Lucky we got his hp number. We called him but he only comes back to us after the sight seeing of that particular attraction. I saw another attraction which he did not intend to go and pointed it out. His reply is that museum is similar to the previous attraction. I told him off, that we miss that attraction then he bring us to the museum.
We were so rush out of this town! Guess what? The guide on the bus tried to sell us optional tour. He expect us join all 3 optional tour at RMB1,200 which is slightly more than SGD240. When he do not get full response, could clearly see his unhappiness. He decide to call off the optional tour due to poor response.
When we check in the hotel on the 3rd day, one of the bag that belong to the couple were seen slightly preyed open； although the person did not succeed.
On the 4th day, this couple's bag were unable to open due to being forced open and the number lock was spoiled. With no choice, he forced open and buy a new padlock for his luggage bag.
On the 5th day, one of the guy's neck rest which he left on the bus gone missing!
On the 6th day, we left 2 pears hanging on the bus gone missing after we alight for sightseeing. When we queries, the bus driver had took it and hide it on the top compartment.
The last day, my friend counted the fruits she bought and left on the bus before go sightseeing. When we are back, she counted short of one.
On the last day, the driver was late for about half an hour to pick us up for the next attraction. We were only allow to have 20 mins dinner time as we need to rush to the train station. Out the restaurant, instead exit out the carpark, this driver use the entrance instead. The bus got struck again. After all these delay, we had to really run after the train with our luggage bags!
The itinerary did not mention any half day free an easy. But we had 3 days half day only. We depart the hotel only 10.45am or 11am for lunch then go sight seeing. Never in any of my trip, we waste so much time doing nothing.

My wife and myself were on the 11Days/ 8 Nights Europe- Balkans Tour from 13 to 23 August 2016. I am almost 70 year old cannot walk fast and climb too high. Your tour manager, Roger Kho was very kind
He waited patiently at almost every place of interest. Sometimes he would tell us to wait for the group at certain places and re-group us after their tour (usually places which need to climb).
He has done a great job. Our group was like a family at the end of the tour. We enjoyed our tour.

Good tour agency with a reasonable price. They generally had the trip well planned out but did not take into account special conditions. For example, I participated in their Tour of Eastern Europe (14D). They did not plan for days near Christmas Eve and Christmas Day where many if not all shops were closed. This left us with no choice but to find our own dinner on those days as shops are closed at 2pm.
Although they advertised it as 14D, they include the time you spend on the plane so that shortens it to 11D. Be sure to read the itinerary VERY carefully to make sure you know what you are paying for.
They book their tours through Emirates, which is a good airline. however, all their flights stop over in Dubai and they will not have a direct flight to your destination. That's one thing to take into account.
