Back to visit our wedding venue. Perfect service, great ambience, great food. We're just heartbroken that this lovely House is gonna go soon...

tldr: Food was badly cooked despite having good ingredients at hand. Service is disinterested with the outcome of their kitchen staff's cooking.
Service: Waiters looked and behaved uninterested in customer service. The waiter who came with the bill saw that my steak was untouched, but he did not even ask for improvements for the steak or how the dinner was.
Food:
Truffle Fries - Not enough truffle oil. Tasted just like generic french fries.
Celeriac Soup - Tasty, but abit starchy.
Macadamia-Crusted Pumpkin Salad - Tasty. Was the only saving grace for this meal.
Harissa Rib Eye (Medium Rare) - The first time it came, the meat was overcooked. The second time it came, the meat was not only raw, it was cooked unevenly. The white fats were still visible and the meat was near impossible to slice. Whatever meat that was safe for consumption was also bland. A flavor punch it was not.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio - Nothing traditional about this aglio olio, it is a highly localized and adulterated version of what aglio olio is. Granted it was tasty, this dish was also packed with a tonne of sodium.
Bay Prawn Capellini - Was actually pretty decent. I'd say it tasted a little bland but the subtle flavors worked well with the fresh prawns.
The Elegant Black Pepper Prawn Linguine - In this instance, looks are highly deceiving. The prawns were the saving grace of this dish. The black pepper pasta had a very off ratio of pasta, black pepper, and whatever was in the pasta gravy. The pasta reminded me of something I'd find in a bad western food stall in primary schools.

Great place and food. Though only had their breakfast menu, would come back to explore the rest of the menu.

The food and the place was very good, and had a super great waiter service. And the food was super expensive, too!

Love the brunch menu here, although very pricey! Service is friendly but can be slow. Highly recommend the chilli jam Naan, very naughty but so delicious.

The food is good but the varieties are limited. As my wife cannot take onion and garlic, there is only 1 choice of food for her. Applaud for the waiter who patiently to goes in and out to check out the dishes.
Arranged a flower delivery to the restaurant and they presented the flower as per planned thru phone coordination. But nothing special that goes out even its for birthday dinner.

Got the truffle mushroom pizza. Great for sharing! But to each 4 slices on your own would be difficult as the mushrooms are q overpowering. The aglio olio was DELICIOUS but q expensive for just aglio olio. The other seafood pasta wasn't as yummy but it's more value for money. Didn't like the BBQ pork ribs but maybe I'm just not a fan of BBQ sauce and pork ribs. My grandmother loved them tho. The squid ink risotto was not bad, nothing fantastic.
Drinks were really not value for money so we didn't get any 🙃 bill added up to $200+ for 5 people and also I got a free slice of bday cake (cuz my mom asked for some bday promo HAHA) which was really delicious btw. It was red velvet cake drizzled with some berry sauce. I'd pay for that.
Service was excellent.
Overall, beautiful place with nice ambience but not so affordable (I'd only go for special occasions).

Love the flower arrangements on the buffet table. Nice ambience but food is nothing to rave about. Limited variety. The mini burger was hard and dry. Won't think of going back again.

Standard of food seems to be dropping, coupled with extraordinary long waiting time. Plenty of places now serving same sort of ambience and food.

Huge portions and great tasting food! And nice ambience too. Bone marrow beef burger is humongous.

Parking was a breeze. Could be the choices I made, the food did not leave an impression on me. I thought the idea of my dish we pretty interesting though, fusion and all...

Very good spot for brunch. The ambience is quite nice, there is outdoor seating as well (facing the greenery), we chose to sit inside as it was a hot and humid day.
The food was quite nice, I personally liked the eggs benny.

I went for high tea on a Thursday afternoon. The food was amazing and the service was even better! 10/10 experience, definitely an afternoon well spent.

Great venue with relaxed atmosphere. Sadly, the food was slightly disappointing, for example adding sugar onto sweet potato fries and serving underripe avocado. Would definitely give it another try though, hopefully they work on the small touches.

Great ambience - the restaurant is a converted army barracks! The food is great - lots of meat and some solid vegetarian options. Sunday brunch menu is a must try - big portions and tasty! Service is generally friendly, but lacks finesse.

Great place for brunch. Every member of our party loved their food except my husband who got the Asian sliders. I got the green eggs (fried eggs with Parma ham and asparagus) - absolutely delicious.

This is one of our Favourite restaurant. Food is consistently good and we have tried many items in the menu and so far our visits have been pleasant. This time, we ordered Asian Slider and Chicken Tonkatsu (new on menu). I was surprised by the chicken as I thought Katsu would just be a plain bread crumbed chicken with sauce. It has aragula, thinly sliced cheese, cherry tomato and most importantly, a little mixture of Italian pesto and Japanese sauce in TOP of the Katsu. Highly recommended. Also had a bottle of Mitolo Jester for $68, very good value and satisfied evening

House is the place I go to whenever I have a craving for good fries! House's curry mustard fries are simply the best! 👍

Converted into a restaurant from an army barracks, House is a household name in the local brunch and dinner scene thanks to its delectable selections of Skinny Pizzas and Truffle Fries. Go for the high tea buffet if you're feeling chi chi with your BFFs.

Nice place for weekend tea and dinner. Quite a bit distance from MRT(orchard), grab a cab. Cluster of cool cafe, dining places and wester grocery stores in the old British barracks.
