Good for coffee or a drink. Not for dinner. Too warm sitting inside. Tables mostly hogged by people with laptops and not dining.

Quaint, little charming place, opposite botanic gardens mrt.
Like the fact there is a corner either for people-watching or catchup on work or reading or catchup with friends or to have quiet time.
Simple selection of food & beverage.
Service staff are friendly, attentive & efficient.

Pumpkin soup tasted nice and fresh and the spaghetti carbonara was done al dente and pretty good.

Great environment, decent food that isnt really prepared there. I suggest tue pastry and coffee. The location is great.

Close to botanic gardens. Chill place to hang out for lunch. And quick to get to amenities. Food is just alright..fast enough for a business lunch

Good, chic place for good coffee and excellent sweet and savoury bites. Nice atmosphere with lots of alfresco seating. Usual pricing for this quality of establishment.
Sits in the corner of a major and a minor road so can be a bit noisy at times but nice to get out and sit down.
Service is good, attentive, friendly and quick.

Cafe latte and cronut are good. Nice outdoor seating. Just outside botanic gardens MRT and entrance so it is a very convenient location.

We eat here alot but it would be nice to have more new variety!! Just because we eat here so much!

Coffee just passable but food good. A good way to start a visit to the Botanical Gardens.
Good choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced.

I didn't eat here, but only because we were planning to have dinner and this place served cafe and bistro food. Ambience and setting is pretty much en pointe, and would probably come here more for breakfast. Very prominent location, right across the street from the Botanical Garden MRT exit.

Quiet and nice ambience. Near a supermarket and the botanical gardens. Try the Moroccan chicken

It's not the best but it's consistent. The coffee is ok, the pizza is ok – enough for a light lunch. Gets really crowded on weekends.

We only ordered drinks here as we were just passing through. The latte was too milky for my liking and lacked a good coffee hit. And my wife's ice mocha was delivered as an ice latte. The food looked nice, but a bit pricy.

Food is good, and coffee is also proper (which is rare in Singapore!). Yet, customer service and organisation of the cafè are far from the upper bound. You can come here and eat (quite pricy for Singapore) and also it's nice to chat a while with a friend. For work, the space is sufficient as well but no electricity plugs available (at least I couldn't found any). So in total i would give it 4 stars for the food/coffee, but due to the lack of good attitude and customer service only 3.

Scones and coffee were nice, quite pricey. Good location for snack before Botanic Gardens.

Nice corner. The food is pricey but just OK, not exceptional. Coffee is acceptable, not great.

Love the coffee, love the chocolate croissant especially (and it's huuuuge!) Love that there is power point behind my table. This will be one of my favorite remote work spot!

Food was really good, a wide selection of breads, pizzas, all day breakfasts, desserts, beverages and other random snacks. A good stop if you happen to be near botanics mrt station. Servings were large, complimentary water provided. Latte was great! Had seats on a weekday afternoon, but is very crowded on weekends.

Veggies with a twist! Love their spicy olives and Brussels sprouts. The food is delicious! Served and priced by UOM. Relatively expensive but worth it.

All good, little on the pricey side - good selection of western snacks and is a convenient stop next to the entrance for the botanical gardens. Cold storage next door so can top up on cheaper water for the walk thru the park
Update: shocking attitude from service staff on second visit - 4 star change to 2

A rather nice cafe/restaurant in Bukit Timah. Prices are relatively high. The service is good; food is delivered relatively fast and the staff is friendly.
Pascal Cabos (07/10/2016 23:39)
Quite underwhelming actually. The various food items of nearly minimalistic sizes are tremendously overpriced, while not even having the quality to justify such pricing.
Sashena Hassamal (03/10/2016 08:45)
Very average spot. Ordered the pizza and soup combo. The soup was cold and tasteless when it came to my Table. Absolutely unacceptable. The staff wasn't even apologetic about it.
Dr Kevin Soh (21/06/2016 23:56)
I just love their egg set. They are open from 7.30 am onwards.
Pierre Chassaing (18/05/2016 07:43)
Love the hot sandwiches and the pastries. Not particularly cheap though.
Arjun Khara (04/05/2016 08:42)
Quite decent and good service. Convenient place to grab a coffee after shopping at Cold Storage.

A restaurant cum bakery located in a "richer" part of town where people stay in landed properties in a prime area near the city center. Because of that they have to pay higher rental and charge higher prices, which is why only local residents come here and the students around the area avoid this place. Their food isn't especially good but it isn't bad either, so...
