Food is not bad, quite nice actually. But for the price, portions are quite small.
Food came within 5 minutes of ordering.
Free cookies!

Food is good as expected from Old Chang Kee. They have got it right by going with the nostalgic look and feel of the place and the way food is served. Service is attentive.
Try the beef brisket but not with the ramen, they somehow did not go well together. Nasi lemak was lacking the fragrance of coconut milk but the sambal chilli and achar made up for that.

Their curry rice is not bad but other than that, the rest disappointed e.g. tomato noodle and beef curry noodle.
The drinks were quite sweet too.
But kudos to the staff for dressing up as that added a nostalgic feel and for giving out free ice gem biscuit

Can be a little pricey for "usual" local food that can be found in neighborhood eating places.
However, you pay for what you get in a comfortable air con environment. Curry is fragrant, prata is tasty, fried food are fried well.
May get a little "heaty" for the food choices, so PLEASE drink up as well!
Help yourself to the paper cups or plastic bag provided by the restaurant to take "free" mini colorful sugar coated biscuits as "snacks of past" (refer to photo).
They do sell yummy buns too. Do look out for their evening sale =)

Popular lunch place so there’s usually a queue. But you can get a table quickly if it’s just 1 or 2 pax. Ordered the daily special tomato chicken noodle and was told that there’s only the dry version (though the menu shows it with soup). Found it ok only. Star dish was the cold tofu (which my friend recommended) - nice mix of tangy and savoury flavours
