Great place to relax in the evening. Highly recommend seeing at least once. The prices of food and drinks are a little raised here because of the popularity and the nightlife. If you can get in on one of the drink specials, it’s not that bad.

Pubs and bars on both sides of the river. Good food and drinks all around. Place for everyone.. There is fountain park for kids too. Most of the restaurants have kid's menu too. Good place for some ad-hoc shopping too. Spend some quality time here.

It's a great place to go for drinks or dinner with friends or colleagues. Or even for romantic dinner. You have more than 20 different restaurants and bars to choose from. It gets really busy in the evenings, therefore might take some time to find a restaurant with a best seat available.

This is a great place with lots of restaurants, pubs and bars to choose from a low budget place to a high end place. The place opens at 10am and closes at 10pm.
Super place to chill out and have a good time.
A place where every age group will enjoy even kids. Pleasant atmosphere and you can dine or drink by the river,
Which is clean and maintained.

The party jewel of the Singapore Central district. In recent years, all the big party outlets have been slowly collated into this main nightlife district. With bright and colourful lights that extends through the night, you may find may partying spots and probably a few drunkards as your stroll through this area during the late hours of the end of the week.
Still a definite visit if you want to let down your hair to just party, especially when the famous Zouk Singapore has been relocated here as well.

The best attractions in Clarke Quay offer visitors a great range of alternative things to do and see that doesn’t purely revolve around nightlife. Sure, Clarke Quay is famous for its stunning waterside restaurants and exciting collection of bars and clubs, but the area has so much more to offer. Most of the top-rated attractions around Clarke Quay are walking distance from MRT stations, and our carefully chosen selection includes a host of family-friendly activities and cultural visits that are perfect for the day time hours - leaving you plenty of time to enjoy that thriving Clarke Quay nightlife when the sun goes down.

Great place to chill out. Lots of joints to eat. Lot of different cuisines to choose from. Good music, good food. One can also take up a boat ride to cross the river. Good view and great place to spend the evening.

Perfect location for get some food and specially note and evening time all punks and everything is open till morning... you can get boat ride from their just walk throughout a bridge and counters over their. Go view excellent choice of food . The river is clean and we'll maintained. No smell to sit next to it. Good watering holes with excellent music . However quiet dead over the weekdays
But definitely a good place even if you just want to take a stroll by the river. There are boat ride that you can also take.

Drinking alcohol seemed to be the major attraction of this area. It's pretty by the river and you can catch a breeze on the humid nights. It's also well lit at night with many clubs and restaurants having security out front. As it was very close to my accommodation I did venture there a couple of times. There are a lot of food choices but nothing that had me going wow! Singapore is a safe place and this was true of Clarke Quay.

What's not to like about Clarke Quay? It's a tourist spot and local spot. Full of bars, restaurants, nightlife and shopping (inside the malls). It is always on my list of places to take folks visiting Singapore. It can be dead on weekday nights, but generally good crowds on weekends. Good variety of different cuisines.
Francesco Catalfamo (18/02/2018 13:37)
Definitely one of the best locations in Singapore, for spending a pleasant evening in a restaurant and then enjoy the rest of the night in a bar, a pub or a disco club.
In a relatively small area you will find so many different restaurants for almost any taste and cousine, from Europe, America and of course from Asia.
Even the bars and the pubs are so many that surely anyone will be able to find at least three or four to fit their desires.
There are also some disco clubs that are full of nice people and it is possible to dance, listen to good music and enjoy nice drinks up to the night.
Clark Quay is definitely a first class location for fun and great food, so it's constantly packed by Singaporeans as well tourists from everywhere in the world, also because you can find so many different venues and all you need to have good time... and a taxi to go back home or to your hotel.
Don't miss it!

A must visit while you are in Singapore and like sea food. Beautiful skyline with a range of restaurants to choose from. Food is delicious and you may like to sit next to the sea and relax. Sip a drink of your choice, have a romantic evening and enjoy some dance in a pub or even dance bars in the vicinity which can surprise you!
Hux Siah (23/11/2017 05:46)
Clarke Quay is one of the place to be for Singapore nightlife.
Eateries, bars, pubs, coffee, restaurants, shops and entertainment line this stretch. Located along the river in the centre of the business and financial district, it is popular with the locals, expatriates and tourists. Catch the river boat or the cruise out to sea Singapore's own towering skyscrapers and night lights. A must see for all tourists visiting Singapore.
Aman Bhatnagar (22/11/2017 06:25)
Lovely place, specially in the evening. Lots of food joints on the bank of Singapore river. Looks beautiful in the evening when lit with different lights. There are few pubs as well. Each restaurant have shacks along the river.
Charles Lau (04/11/2017 07:36)
It's very difficult to find a place to sit down during the day. There are a few benches along the river but there is no shade under the hot sun. There are many chairs but they are chained together in front of the pubs and restaurants (most of which are closed during the day). The only public seats are at the taxi stand and bus stops. Definitely not a kid and elderly-friendly place. It's a lively place in the evening but during the day it's like a ghost town.
Luke Phang (20/10/2017 08:12)
There is just so much to do here, be it day or night (but of course, night time is where the fun happens)! Swing by the various themed bars, listen to music, dance into the night, catch a boat down the river or get yourself flung into the air by the reverse bungy. Easily one if Singapore's top tourist attraction.
Guhan V (16/09/2017 06:57)
One of the most happening places in Singapore. Good pubs, bars and discos. Great food and casual dining options too! Well connected and easily accessible.
Stevan Cyrus (11/09/2017 18:20)
The coolest quay, ever! Whenever you have the chance, don't miss out the human sling shot. Sightseeing here in the evening is also nice.
Paul Darby (08/09/2017 06:02)
Fantastic place with bars and places to eat vibrant night life and great for a drink and a meal. River boat tours start from here. Always buzzing loved our trips to the quay for fantastic chilli crab
Dominique Tan (03/09/2017 17:02)
Used to think this mall is a no-man's-land but was leasantly surprised that the mall have so much more new and interesting tenants! Part from a supermarket, everything else is as complete as it gets (food glorious food!) .
Very well connected to other parts of town too.
John Michael (12/07/2017 15:17)
It's a busy area with tons of eateries and bars. Some will have wheel chair access and some won't. I know not every place had a ramp or elevator. That aside, always have a good time there.
Prakash Yalamarthi (02/07/2017 05:48)
Awesome night life destination..
tip for Indians: go to Maziga for awesome Bollywood dance disco .. for an extra drink.. wait for DJ to announce drink promos..
One more: Don't eat at Verve pizza 🍕 not to get disappointed..

This place is a tourist attraction, hence things are a bit pricey, but well worth it. There are many bars and restaurants here, as well as a few nightclubs. There is even a ride that tosses you into the air, though Im too afraid to sit on it! You can also book a boat ride along the Singapore River here. I haven't tried many restaurants here, but I'd recommend Hooters, known for their chicken wings, though my favorite remains the fried pickles - it's delicious!
Tanu Kumar (19/06/2017 02:35)
Love this place. Has an amazing variety places to eat or go party at. It is a bit pricey but a low cost, really nice to place to eat at is Shiraz (the stall not the sit down restaurant). Sitting on the bridge or by the river is an amazing experience as well to take in the Singapore river with the Clark Quay lights is an amazing experience. Try to go on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid the crowd.

I visited Clarke Quay twice during my Singapore trip, once by boat and then on foot. Both visits were during the day and there wasn't a whole lot going on, by the looks of the place things probably pick up some in the evening. There were shops, restaurants, and pubs, I did have lunch at one of the restaurants, I'll review that at another time.
From what I understand this area has quite a history that stretches back some 200 years, some of the old structures (my favorite part) have been restored and there are new structures as well. The whole area is quite nice, very colorful and clean with the Singapore river running through the center.
I will have to experience Clarke Quay at night on my next visit.
Ryan Michael (06/05/2017 23:43)
A very touristy spot these days but its still a good place to have a meal even if it is at tourist prices. The area has some nice bars and night clubs too well worth a wander around especially if you only have one night in Singapore and want to party ! The boat ride in the bay is well worth it.
Lily Eyraud (28/04/2017 12:45)
Lovely area of Singapore located on the river. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars, some more crowded/ popular than others. I would recommend getting some ice cream and walking around in the evening!
Rohit Sahgal (26/03/2017 11:24)
Lively part of town, in the evenings. If you want a more undisturbed stroll, try going in the mid-morning. For an extra treat, start off at Fort Canning, walk down the winding walking track to Clarke Quay, cross the small bridge onto Riverside Point and you'll be at the cusp of Chinatown. Stop along the way for a bite or a cool drink...
Robert Nasiadek (12/03/2017 10:01)
Very lively area with lots of bars and clubs. It's pretty good, but very focused on showing off and if you're looking for good music you're gonna be disappointed. Every place is a commercial modern pop, mash up kinda place with no character.
Roni Hopkins (06/03/2017 09:37)
A must visit in Singapore! Great part of downtown. Lots of bars, restaurants and shopping! Take a boat ride along the river! Fun place to eat, relax and people watch.
Keme Yeo (17/02/2017 02:22)
Summary? Eat, drink and chillax. The Singapore river is just there, and though the water isn't the cleanest thing, ( its not as if one can go swimming in it so *shrugs*) it's a great part of the overall scene. There's rows after rows of restaurants and pubs, so if you just want to splurge and let yourself indulge, this is it. The view is nice, whether day or night, so if you just ever want to sit by the waters and daydream without having sand stick into your soles, then yeah Clarke Quay is one option B)
Patrik Jurčišin (16/02/2017 13:22)
Absolutely amazing part of Down town, full of vibe, pubs, restaurants next to the river. You will never feel boring in this place. Pubs are busy till late night, everywhere you can hear life bands playing music. When you want to change the place just simply jump on boat and take ride to Marina bay Parade where is an amazing Olympic Walk with stunning view. You will felt in love with this city in one day.
Rahul Shaw (29/01/2017 15:32)
Great place for fun. One of the Singapore's main tourist attractions. Visit at night to see the beauty. Walk from Clarke quay to Marina Bay sand. Good mixture of old and new Singapore. Take River Taxi.
Orsolya Lukács (25/12/2016 21:26)
This place has a special kind of ambiance. In between the skyscrapers of Singapore, I found it to be relaxing and quiet. You can stroll between some lovely Asian street food restaurants, have some coconut ice-cream and also just to sit down to just watch ships departing on the river. Try locally caught, fresh seafood while visiting here. The world-famous specialty of Singaporean cuisine is the Chilli Crab. You will make a huge mess when indulging in it, but don't worry, everyone else does. Yes, even the locals. :-)
Matthew Hardman (23/10/2016 13:53)
Combination of bars and restaurants, more targeted towards the nightclub and bar crowd. There is an array of family friendly restaurants here, one such is Hai Di Lao, which is an amazing hot pot restaurant. If you want to party, Friday and Saturday nights are your pick, if you arent up for that... then better try the other days.
Aldrin Tee (17/10/2016 01:58)
An awesome riverside venue for dining and drinking with its many restaurants and bars. Sometimes special events occur along its banks and turns the entire area into a festive and party atmosphere. One of my favourite places to go to!
Fandu Rauschenberg (02/10/2016 05:27)
A bit of everything from international cuisine to adrenaline inducing attraction but mostly touristic and expat oriented. Everything is overpriced but after 3 years in Singapore I can say that the overall quality is above average.
Lian Jye Su (19/09/2016 02:51)
Most lively place in Singapore after sundown. A must visit for all new tourists. Great river view too. Very accessible to the downtown core and the Chinatown.
Yi Long Tan (12/09/2016 07:08)
Great and fuss free place for a tourist to enjoy the night at. Good mix of food and drinks, no worries of being ripped off or robbed at anytime. But wrong place if you are looking to mingle with locals.
George TAP (08/07/2016 03:52)
Love this place, best place to hang out for any food needs. Great view, many food choices. Also great place for night life.
Alexander Wang (13/06/2016 13:00)
This place is famous for night life. After sunset, buy a beer or wine and have a drink with your friend at the bank. Enjoy the light and music with breeze, few things can be better than that. If you are interested in the different face of Singapore, please go there after midnight, and I can guarantee you a surprise.
Francis Ablorh Anum (10/06/2016 05:21)
Very beautiful place to hungout, a great place to fully enjoy your holiday. It's supper safe so no worries about crime. You could actually hungout 24/7. In my opinion Clarke quay is just a utopia. I love Clarke Quay!! Ooh! one more thing, my Clarke Quay is free of racism.

Sergio Rodrigues (21/04/2016 21:54)
Very cool place, vibrant and full of bars and restaurants. Specially at night, it is full of people, locals but also many expats.
The atmosphere is great and being by the river, with all the lights it makes it a wonderful place to have dinner or hangout.
Lots of places around so, it all depends on your taste to choose one restaurant or bar.
