The place is very modern and nice. It is pretty spacious as well, and it is fully air-conditioned. Within the church, there is a place especially for children and disabled as well. There is a bus stop right next to the church with special pathway for the disabled, making it very easily accessible. The choir is very good. In overall, the church is very recommended for people of all ages.

A very modern looking Catholic church! An interesting crucifix as well. The acoustics of the sanctuary are very good.

Beautiful Church! Love it but it's the long staircase that give my legs a lot of problems. Even though there's a slope but we struggled to walk up..😔😔😔

Church is nice but people are ugly. I was told off rudely by the parish office for wanting to see a priest for personal issues. My dad was also denied communion by a communion minister before because he had to receive it traditionally by tongue.

9 Things To Do in SMOTA church (St. Mary of the Angels Church) : (1) spend some quiet time with the Blessed Sacrament in the adoration chapel, a high ceiling room located at the base of the bell tower, a peaceful place for prayer and reflection; (2) visit the grotto of St. Mary of the Angels and read a book at one of the benches under the cool shade of bamboo trees; (3) approach any of the friars for a friendly chat if you see one walking around; (4) visit Gubbio and enjoy a cuppa with some kueh lovingly made by volunteers and chat with the parishioners at the recently renovated canteen; (5) donate to charity supported by the parish by droping-off unused but good condition items at the thrift shop and while you're there, buy some items from the shop as well - shop is open on Saturdays and Sunday mornings; (6) browse and shop at the Piety Shop for religious items, books and music or alternatively, visit the church piazza on a Sunday and browse a more extensive collection of Christian books on sale at the Book Barrow (if they don't have a particular title you are looking for they can help you source it for you); (7) get a copy of the weekly bulletin or read it through the SMOTA app to be up to date on the upcoming events in the parish; (8) participate in the Holy Mass on any of the many masses on Saturday and Sunday (SMOTA is one of only a few parishes in Singapore offering "last chance" mass at 7PM on Sundays), sit at the front of the pews and experience life-giving worship inside this modern architecture where every element of its design speak of the church's beliefs and ultimately points to Jesus; (9) and finally, mingle with people after mass and experience the vibrancy of the community, say hi to the priest as well and if you hear that calling inside of you to serve in the parish just say "YES" and let the priest know of your desire. The modern architecture, serene environment, and insightful liturgies are very conducive for worship and contemplation.

This is a very nice modern church. The architectural design award winning church has a good following and is crowded during weekend mass. It is very serene on weekday and is a great place to contemplate or just spend some quiet moment in peace.

I love the awarding-winning architecture. It's really inviting and warm despite the angular lines and stone walkways.

A great place of worship and very nicely built. A place of serenity and peace, where one can find solace and peace in Christ quite easily.

Truly an architectural treat, the church has a hall that is meticulously constructed. The height and high level lighting evokes a space similar in character to traditional cathedrals. Worth every bit of time spent wandering its grounds. the columbarium in the basement is also a delight, with natural lighting used extensively in combination with water elements, the space is in fact quite pleasant and reflective.

Great design.
Recommended building for architectural tour, love the silence ambience in the main building and the basement area
For architects, architecture students and architectural lovers, you must take this place in your list

Dear Father Clifford,
Thank you for hosting us TTC students for our field education visit to your lovely church! It was a powerfully spiritual service, with many things I can learn and take away from to enhance the worship ministry in my home church.
God bless!

A peaceful church equipped with air-conditioning and looks unique when it comes to design. There are also great friars to make you feel at home too.

I live in this area and know where exactly it is. I nvr enter but i always like to eat at the coffee at the back of the church, as i like to look at all the tall trees nxt to the coffee. Alot better than looking at buildings and crowd of people.
