Waiting time was abit longer than expected but it was the hike in consultation price on a public holiday from $35 to $90 dollars after 6pm that shocked me. Consultation was short and sweet despite my illness being 4 days old. I reckon you have no choice but to attend this clinic during midnight to dawn when you need it.

One of the worst clinic I visit, I'm my 30+ years staying in the neighborhood.. Only visited this clinic less then 5 times.. Every visit still bad.. Firstly the front counter staff treat like we visiting a free clinic.. The approach on patient is very bad. So as the doctor even if ur having high fever.. U may end up getting 1 day Mc... Yup twice happen to me..

The ever ever worst clinic that ever went.... and it it the only 24 hr clinic at hougang yet all the doc in the clinic. Just remember if u really sick never ever step into this clinic. Mayb if u need MC u can try.

My husband felt something getting into one of his eyes and the pain did not go away after numerous attempts to wash it. When I came home, and as it was still painful for him we decided just to be safe for him to see a doc. I drove him to the nearest 24hr clinic which is this particular clinic since it was late at night and the only clinic available.
The doctor on duty at the clinic that night checked his eyes and advised us to go to the a&e to have the eye checked. He said my husband eye required some kind of scope to check and inform us to go A&e and he will write a letter. So we took his letter and went to the nearest a&e hospital we can find.
After the medical officer on duty at the hospital saw my husband, all she did was to ask some questions, lifted my husband eyelids and used a cotton swab to swab his eye. There was no complicated equipment, n nothing rocket science at all! Just a cotton swab! My husband immediately felt better and relieved of his pain. The medical officer on duty said it was just an eye lash that got into his eye lips irritating his eyes. Later my husband had his eyes washed. Again nothing rocket science.
When we had the chance to see the medical officer later on, I couldn’t hold myself back and asked the medical officer if this is something basic which a clinic GP should be trained and be able to handle. The doctor said ermmm...well ..yes, maybe depends on the experience of the doctor.
We wasted so much time going to the clinic and the A&E for something which is simply an eye lash irritating the eye. Haiz. I told my husband to go buy optrex eye wash and keep at home for emergency next time. We can buy 10 bottles and it will still be cheaper than paying for the clinic fees, a&e fee, our fuel cost, and the time wasted.
I called to check the name of the doctor on duty. I won’t put it here but anyway, just thought to share it here if it can be of help to others.

Recently just went to this 24 hour clinic located at blk 681 hougang ave 8, when is about my turn, i am having headache on that day and the dont know which doctor was so rude that he recommend me to see the brain surgery doctor at the hospital and say last week I visited this 24 hour clinic also headache, I just need 1 day mc to rest at home due to headache la

Front desk really rude, they kept showing hand gestures when my boyfriend was about to approach them to register. When the rest of the patients gone, I told them we've been waiting for 5 minutes. That rude girl told us that she "assumed" my boyfriend already registered. Gave a 3 minute long reason why she wasn't assisting us when they're at the back slacking off. Her tone on how she explained it was very rude and make it feel that it's our fault. No empathy for the customers at all. Don't come here, it will take you 30-40 mins to wait before consultation. No initiative from 3 people manding the front desk "at all"". They prefer texting or chatting at the back. They just give you the bill and not care at all. Very expensive for consultation and will add more medicine than needed to get more out of you.
If you need help and resolution right away, don't come here!
To add: we've been here before, this is the nearest so we have no choice that time. That front desk guy wearing glasses was very rude as well. Expect to be treated with rudeness here.

Bad service ever.doctor was unhelpful..very rude..no courtesy...i wont come to this clinic anymore! ..i waited for about an hour waiting for my turn.this doctor locum he told me dat i could not get any mc..he mention that i feet to work only thing i can get medicine..i was having a gastric n yet u couldnt give me any mc???what kind of doctor are u.. aft walk off i went to other clinic dat near by my house and e doctor give me mc.. not recomended!

I would give zero stars if I could. DR ONG THENG SUNG this young male doctor. Zero patience. Zero compassion. I've never met a doctor with such a rude attitude.

I was here at Hougang Ave 8 branch with my father for his ailment check up, 2 Aug 2017 between 1 to2 p.m. A young male doctor attended to him but we didn't manage to get his name.
Upon entrance to the doctor room, he did not greet my elderly father and just ordered him to sit. After curtly asking him for what's wrong with him, he just briefly put the stethoscope on my father's back after ordering him "Turn back" without any polite words and courtesy.
My father mentioned that the he might have flu from what a previous attending doctor diagnosed him with, but he said he didn't have body pains. So this doctor again with rudeness remarked "that's good, or would you prefer body pains?"
I was at the point of time ready to snap at that doctor. But we exercised our right as customers and we walked away because your doctor treated my father with disrespect and we do not deserve this.
You have had many negative reviews recently on Google despite being my family's clinic of choice for the past 16 years.
We will stop going to your clinics because you obviously do not care about customer services at all.

I can't seem to find the google location for this new central clinic that was just opened. i visit central clinic because it is my panel clinic. their staffs and doctors are rude and would rush you out in no time.
but my recent experience totally changed my view on this clinic. I was directed by the clinic auntie to their new branch 2 doors down the corridor. I was amazed that the staffs were pleasant, waiting time was short, and most importantly, dr lua listened and addressed my concerns. heard that he is regular there on weekends.
if you ever visit the clinic, dont visit the 24-hr branch, ask the staff to bring you to the one down the corridor.

Very fast queue. The locum was also kind to my child, and was able to help answer my questions. The price was fairly reasonable given the time we visited was at 11PM. Thanks

Doctor is really rude and dismissive. Dressed shabbily and unclean. Uncouth. Definitely do not recommend coming here at all

Super bad experience from the time I step in. Receptionist told me abt the 55$ consultation fees prior to asking about anything else. Had to struggle to find ways to replenish myself from losing consciousness this morning. Don't judge every person who comes in!

The attitude of the doctor was so condescending and lacked any empathy at all, did not bother to listen to my presenting complain. The receptionists were ok at best but the experience was horrible as a whole. $101 for a 2 min consultation with pills that can be easily bought from any local pharmacy is not what I would consider as fair. First and last time visiting here.

Got charged $150 for a some panadols, lozenges and cough medicine and doctor didn't even examine throat. I understand there must be a surcharge for late night visitation but this cost is too ridiculous for a diagnosis that may not even be accurate.

Being very objective here. But seriously concerned about the ethical standards of this clinic. Was rushed here because it was nearest to my office. I described my symptoms to the doc, extreme abdominal cramps, to the point I could not stand straight. All doc did was listen to my abdomen, before describing that it sound 'gassy' and concurring that it's likely gastric. There was no palpation done , in and out of the room in less than a minute. Counter staff provided me with 3 medications, of which Omeprazole was one of them. I checked that it should be taken before meals (not specified on the label) but staff said, 'no anytime also can". I strongly urge relevant authorities to look into the ethical and clinical standards of this clinic.

Quite a bad experience. Many staff on duty but waiting time is still very long. Staff more concerned about telling you the exact charges than finding out about your condition. Doctor unable to do simple stitching.

This would be my first and last visit to the clinic. I never expected that a coughing could charge up to $108. And the pharmacist just missed out one medication for me which they have already charged into the bill. Too dumb too late to realise. Lesson learned!

The receptionist tone are condescending towards me,as I can't talk properly *fish bone stuck in my air way* then refer to her Chinese colleague to talk to me in Mandarin as if I can't understand basic English.Thankfully I had checked this clinic patients review before I was call by the nurse.I had to escape to KK Hospital instead.

Very bad experience with the old doc. Mum having no appetite and whole body shaking.. Doc don't know what to do.. Keep on typing on keyboard and keep asking same question again and again.. When asked what actually happen to mum. Doc just assume anyhow. No appetite but doc give medicine to take after food. What the hell.!
