Clarke Quay Location is the big attraction. It puts its own spin on Mexican food such as nachos with Spanish rice as one of the several toppings. It works. Other menu items are classic Mexican dishes. The IPA beer jugs we had added to the fun.

Good place to have maxican food. Location and ambiance also adds to the place. Burrito and nachos were amazing. Service was also good. And a must try is their habanaro sauce. Overall great place.

I'm Mexican and I have to say this is NOT real Mexican food. I am in Singapore and wanted to celebrate 5 de Mayo, so I went to Cafe Iguana hoping I could get a little taste of Mexico .Service was good and the waiter was really friendly but I still can't give them more than 1 star. The salsa is not fresh, steak fajitas were not seasoned, had to ask for salt to make them taste a little better (they don't have salt shakers on the tables). The soda had no gas. To make everything even worst, the music they play is not even Mexican! So overall not happy with my experience

Good food. Horrible customer service. Filthy bathroom.

One of the better Mexican restaurant in Singapore. The food was nice but the service was a little slow. We went as a big group so it was a bit hectic. The food came out pretty quickly so it's nice cuz we we're hungry.

The food at Cafe Iguana was quite good - fresh and tasty, with a decent serving size. We are vegetarians and we felt their menu had good vegetarian variety. The location on the river front is good and central too.

The place can be noisy though and can be on the pricey side particularly during peak hours in the evening.

Overall this is a pretty decent Mexican place!

Great margarita specials, and the chips and salsa is great. Wish they would refill it for you, or let you have more than one bowl for a party of 5. Overall a fun bar.

Very pedestrian styled Mexican food. Nothing exciting about it and average priced. Portions varied between alright and not enough. They did serve a variety of Mexican alcohol on have which was nice to see.

It's a good place to host a work place gathering as there's lot of seating and easy to access from the Clarke quay mrt station

Nice ambience and scenery. Nice food and stuff. A bit pricey with around 20 - 25 pax, but understandable because of the prime location

Excellent food and great portions for the price. Good happy hour deals ensure repeat trips. Tex-Mex heaven.

I was not expecting a huge amount, but have beautifully flavoured food and a very nice jug of margarita. Our waitress was great, friendly and knowledgeable. She advised us we had ordered too much, but we went ahead and ordered it anyway. She was right.

Worst service ever and rude staff. Only one server for outside sitting on a busy Saturday morning. Food was served without clearing old plates and had to wait for clean plate, making food cold. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Chicken burrito and beef tacos were delish, so were the margaritas! Should've waited for 10pm for 50% off but we were so looking forward to our drinks we couldn't wait.
No need to order nachos as like what the guy below recommends - portions are so huge we couldn't finish them 😅

Great ambience, especially if you go early around 7pm. The decor is lively and the service has always been outstanding.

Best food: a big plate of nachos
Best drinks: margherita pitchers (50% off after 10pm!!)

Food is so-so, but great place for drinks with friends.

Decent place to chill out at before going to Clarke Quay.

Food was not great, seemed to be purchased and served vs. having some one preparing in the kitchen.

He location is really the only good thing going here.

Shirley Odelia (12/04/2017 14:59)
Like the vibe and restaurant location which overlooks the waterfront. Food is ok only. Happy hours are till 7pm and 50% off tequila after 10pm.

Favorite Mexican food in Singapore. Spectacular margaritas and great happy hour. Definitely try the chimichangas

Abhijat Chahal (10/01/2017 09:21)
Generous portions. Though the margaritas seem to be losing their mojo

Fantastic service, enormous portions of food. Great ambience too. The place is packed with reservations every night of the week.

Might be pricey to some but I feel the price is justified for the ambience and food.

TYPE: Mexican Restaurant
BUDGET:30 SGD (food+frozen margarita!)
FAVOURITES: Chicken burrito, Mixed Fajitas, Jack Daniels Chicken, all the frozen margaritas.
MEH: Nachos

The best/most convenient place to get good Mex food. Gets really crowded at night, better take reservations (they have a good online system). The awesome margaritas are cheaper during early hours!

I don't like the nachos here, they are fried and heavy. Prefer those at Brewerkz. And the complimentary salsa chips are just so good anyway.

Yevgeniy Kim (17/05/2016 13:51)
Nice place on tourist walk. Unlimited nachos is a plus. Fried cheese for starter was amazing. Ordered the beef burrito, couldn't finish, as it is huge. Overall the place is a bit too touristy. Other options are available in holland village.
