Buangkok MRT station has becoming more crowded during these few years especially morning peak hours. Because of two new nearby condos and two precincts of newly completed HDB flats. In a few years' times when the upcoming new hawker centre with residential cum shopping mall, new bus interchange next to the station be completed the expected crowd will be worse. Let's take it in the stride.

The Mrt station is very clean and not so crowded

It is built between the two satellite towns, Seng Kang and Hougang. It was built before the rest of the area was ever developed, and even now, it feels like the station is built at quite an expense of the lack of ridership. But it is important to the rail system as it is the first station out of the NEL depot.

Fairprice and some shops including foodcourt is located very close to MRT exit!:)
when I visited this station around noon on weekdays, it’s not so crowded and comfortable quiet place:)

MRT station with an interesting design and adequate surrounding amenities (POSB and OCBC ATMs, toilets and bicycle parking).
