Parking is problem. Good is good especially chicken. Service is good. Seats easily available. Price moderate.

Favourite place to go. Warm and comfy feel and the food's good too. Expected of an established restaurant

Food was delicious. Love their succulent chicken, sweet and sour pork and prawn rolls. Portions are small so we had to re-place our orders for some of their fantastic dishes. Service was fast pace as it was full house. Would highly recommend this place for a nice family lunch/ dinner gathering!

I would rate their rice excellent! Every grain is separated (non-stick) n it taste real good. Steam chicken is cooked through n yet tender. The sweet and sour pork is highly rated by many... so it’s really worth trying! Tis branch is usually not very crowded. Just that parking lots are harder to find.

I liked the food , service and restaurant. Was ill the next morning. Not sure of the cause, but suspect the fish. Very very tasty though!

A little on the pricey side. Can get cheaper and same quality of chicken rice elsewhere

Comfortable and cosy environment. We ordered the white chicken and vegetables. Food is of standard and delicious. Both me and my wife enjoyed it.

Been here several times but today 's service was exceptionally slow. Took more than half hr n twice urging before the food was eventually served. No one came to update us n the serving crew was busy with tour groups. Not acceptable as it was not crowded. Only 2xsmall tables n us (7) taken.
Food is good. Fish is fresh. Fried tofu remains my daughter 's all time favourite .

They do the best chicken rice ever! Even better than in the one star Michelin restaurant in China town. Be prepared to wait a long time until your order is served though.

A little more pricey than the chicken rice from the coffeeshops next door but worth the difference that you get in terms of ambience and comfort.

Good for chicken rice,the only thing that is affordable. Everything else is overpriced. The crab fried rice is worth it though...

买的外带版海南鸡饭，因为看到很多食客都会选择加饭，而且味道鸡饭浓郁的香味，毅然随大流儿加了一份米饭，最后发现此举太明智了，个人感觉海南鸡饭的精华在于米饭，鸡汤蒸的米很好吃，不仅粒粒分开，每一粒米都吸饱了鸡汤的香味，白嘴吃没有任何负担也不需要任何菜品搭配，此时米饭变成了真正的主角，选择这家的鸡饭也是因为被十二道锋味节目加持，明星效应还是挺大的，个人觉得不错，这家餐厅还供应其他菜品，算是个酒楼，如果想体验鸡饭又想吃些宴席菜的话，一定要选择这家，文东记有很多家分店，找起来也很方便，推荐
