We ate here several times on our visit. The staff were great, the food was very good and the atmosphere was lively and very friendly.
There are large screen TVs if you are into sport, but the sound wasn't intrusive. The staff went out of their way to make the dining experience good.
The view over the river was there if you wanted it, though the humid Singapore climate made sitting outside interesting. It's not the heat that gets you, it's the humidity. The restaurant itself is air conditioned.
If you are in this part of the world, give this restaurant a try.

I liked the location, right beside the river. You could walk over and look at the waters.. the food was good. I had breakfast there. Coffee wasn't bad too. Will go again.

Great place for an informal relaxed meal. Reasonable choice, well cooked and presented. service v.good. By the river great setting.

Aussie bogans on tour. Remarkable how many loud and obnoxious Aussies have passports. Had the cricket on the various TVs and cold VB beer on tap. Prices of everything was not in line with leagues or RSL clubs about double maybe triple. Best big breakfast for $30, yes $30

It was a burger with free beer promotion on wed. The Angus burger was succulent and delicious. Service was prompt and waitresses were pleasantly well mannered. Would come again.

This is a biased review. This restaurant/bar allows fans of US college football teams to attend screenings of games that are broadcast live on Sunday morning. So 4 times this past fall found me up early sipping decent coffee and eating an omelette. If only my team had done a little better.
Great widescreens and a very decent brunch. We drew pretty good crowds of very civil, well-behaved fans (although a bogus penalty call, a fumble or interception elicited an occasional loud yell). But the point is the staff puts up with our crew and really takes care of us. Have taken business lunches there that were quite good and reasonably prices. Also attended an excellent wine tasting event in their upstairs room which is ideal for a banquet ... dark, cozy, lots of space.

If you're looking to enjoy an American football game, this is the spot. We stopped by to see the Steelers play, and had a few drinks. Nice outdoor patio with shade along the water. Not the cheapest place, but get a bucket of Coronas for the closest thing to a deal.

A great place for watching sports, huge TV screens everywhere. Food choices can be improved. I had breakfast here and if you don't eat pork then there aren't much choices except for non-meat omelette. Most dishes either contain sausage, ham, bacon or pepperoni. I was lucky that there was a choice of adding salmon to the omelette. I will only go back if I need to watch a match.

we just had salad n appetizers but they were enough to fill me and my lady friend for dinner. food reasonably priced and location wise... place is great.

There are many more better places to visit along this area and that's definitely not here. The portions were decent but the quality of the food does not justify for what you pay. Head over to Super Loco for waaaaaaaayyy better food and ambience for the same or cheaper price and better tasting food! Milkshake was obviously from milk cartons blended with ice. I could easily make that myself at home and not have to pay 10$ for that.

Good food. Good amount of TVs with sports on. Waiters/Waitresses quick to give you menus but are so hard to flag down throughout the stay. Been here 3 times, tho

Short waiting times and friendly service staff.
The food itself is really poor. Everything tastes wrong, like the chefs have never actually tried the food they are trying to make. Reminds me of those medieval artists who painted weird pictures of tigers based on third party descriptions.
Good location. Nice play to watch the footy. Awful place to eat.

Went for brunch. Really great food for both big and little people! Ordered the coolangata breakfast which they happy altered to suit me. Kids ate the French toast and the pancakes which was absolutely delicious! Coffee was great as were the chocolate milkshakes. Will definitely go again!

can't go wrong with their juicy sliders... great spot that's super family friendly to catch the rugby matches and sports on their massive big screens spread throughout the bar/restaurant...

Food is great and there's a range that would satisfy most tastes. View isn't the best but position relative to the sights is relatively good.

Quite loud and expensive, but the waygu burger is one of the best in town.
If you are looking for simple western style or rather Australien good and you are not afraid of loud Australia man groups, than give it a trial.

Nice place to catch all live sports action over done n wine. Slightly expensive though.
Be prepared the waitress asking for yr credit card to keep as tab.
I realised it's a random request from staffs.
With c.card fraut nowadays going on, not advisable to leave ccards with them or anywhere.

Latest review (March 2017): brought everyone here for a family dining outing, utterly disappointed with the food quality, from fish and chips (stale tasting fish in thick coat of batter, like it's from frozen not freshly made), tasteless chicken schnitzel burger, tasteless + disappointing macaroni & cheese as side, only lasagne and Devil's ribs is ok and meets expectation for the price/value.
Last year's review: Could have been a little more than 4 if the drinks were to be a little more reasonable. They cost almost as much as the food bill!

Frequent this place a lot for they're breakfasts - I make my own meal out of the sides and eggs any style. The staff are always friendly and the kitchen is very fast. My family and friends love this place 😊

Great venue for families on weekends. Portions are large, there's space by the river for kids to play / cycle / scoot. Coffee's decent too.

Make sure you know why you're coming here - the ambiance, the location, the crowd, and the beer - which is even expensive during happy hour. The food is awful even by Singapore's mediocre western food standards. The antipasto dish is the worst I've ever had. Pizza toppings slide off the base as soon as you lift a slice. Burgers are your best bet if you need edible food but keep in mind they are very sub-par.

Great place to watch North American sports in the morning (football, hockey, basketball, baseball). Prices are a bit high but service and quality is as well.

Devil Ribs are to die for! Seriously the ribs melt in your mouth and the wedges are amazing. Haven't tried much else there as they are the best value ever!

Was here with a few friends to watch the cricket match. The ambience is really good, with good sound system and we could hear the commentator of the game as well. The staff is friendly and very responsive. I just wish they had more chairs since they had a large crowd that came to see the match. I did not eat anything here so cannot comment on the food!

Service virtually non existent. Pizza dough tasteless. Sausage on Pizza had an unpleasant odour (certainly not spices as was suggested! No apology but $80 or £40 for sharing a starter & a pizza and 1 beer. Very unimpressed. We should have realised before walking into a restaurant that only had a few customers when we arrived!

They were the only place I could find that served kangaroo in Singapore with basic searching.
I had the kangaroo loins. The prices are fairly high, but it was pretty good.
Service was decent.
