Huge park with sufficient facilities and also quite a few restaurants and fast food restaurants nearby the park. The park is also conveniently located and is reachable from many places.

A nice big green patch that you can go and just enjoy any time of the day. It is crowded with runners and cyclists but there is still enough room for you to explore the quiet surroundings. It has activity areas, seating areas (from where the pic was taken at 7 pm) and lots more to explore. If you live any where close to this, must visit and enjoy this park.

Love this place as you can enjoy lots of outdoor activities and the kids will enjoy the playground.
There are 3 playgrounds where kids will enjoy climbing & stepping stones in the water. There are also foot reflexology paths, running/ cycling tracks and fitness areas.

Very well kept and tended. They park provides lots of shaded walkways, things of interest to see and participate in. The water ways and features were not only well maintained but were very well stocked with fish and other aqua fauna and flora. A very pleasant place to spend leisure time at.

Was a boring grass field with a seemingly unimportant canal in the middle. The park has been transformed into a pride for nearby residents that hosts an otter family at the naturalized river. The park is big enough to offer stargazers to spot our Moon or the neighbouring planets using amateur telescope. There are still not enough trees though that offer shade during midday.

Great place to be with the family. This place is scenic and has great place for outing like cycling, walking, jogging, running around with kids in the open field and playing some sports on the many vast open field around the park. When you are tired, can do a picnic there or head to Macdonald's nearby.

Great place for the family. Paths for riding, jogging etc. Playgrounds good for the young ones. Can't wait to go back when the water play area is not out of order

Has a few nice stepping stones across the stream. And there are turtles and fish, people feed them sometimes. Home to the Otter Family although I've never seen them personally.

Very nice scenery. Good air good run. Looking for a good environment to exercise, here is the place. Bringing ur dog for a jog. Here is the place to meet other dogs. They have cafes and event a MacDonald if u feeling hungry.

Amazing area to catch a breath of fresh air. With occasional fast food restaurants and rest rooms, this garden is top-notch! With playgrounds for your child to play in and different events each time of the year, this place is great for family-fun! There are different species of animals inhabiting this area, so they even have activities planned for you to get close with these animals. A usual place for cycling, roller skating, scooter riding, jogging, skateboarding and many more! Totally recommended for tourists who would love a breath of fresh air, and love social places like this.

In the mid of Bishan town and Ang Mo Kio town, this garden gives people a feel like stream of freshness and relaxation among these concretes that have surrounded our country.
Weekends are constantly filled with people exercising, gathering and bonding. Great for photographer as well. :)
There are salon, spa and restaurants in the park.

Great place to exercise also has skating classes.. have a few restaurants to chill out as well. Also a spa. Can have good time with kids in the evenings

Nice park! Has lots of fish in the river stream. Big ones. This place is a nice break from the busy lives of Singaporeans. A green lung in the housing estates. Has restaurants like Grub & MacDonald's.

Long stretched park that reaches until the central water reservoirs. Has a mcdonalds in the middle -- good for grabbing a coffee. Parks are a jewel of SG, in general. A small river or similar flows on its south side, nice for the walk back. The park is divided in two parts by a road, can recommend to see both sides. Its great for a walk.

A nice small park. There is a rest stop with a water cooler, toilets and vending machines. There are no rental services available here.

Nice place for relaxing, dating or a workout. You will usually see all sorts of people from the elderly to the young getting in a good workout in the morning or at night. In fact, I even trained up for my IPPT here previously! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 as I feel there can be more things done to make this park more beautiful and lively.

Wonderful space. Perfect for jogging or exercising with its numerous facilities. You can walk your dog there or ride your bike. Lots of beautiful scenery and ponds to enjoy nature. Some shops to help with your hunger or thirst. Has path markers for your running goals

Good place for a family walkabout and cycling. A big part in the middle of the HDB estate. So the story was it begins as a river with all the pig and chicken farm and cemetery around it. Then the river became the big monsoon canal for many years. Then a government agency headed but an guy who is quite imaginative - well, my friend - decided to make it back into a river and scenic park so you and I can enjoy the place. I just wish that we could do better to make it like the New York central park.

The park is just a stone's throw away quite literally! I go there after work and it's always refreshing to not just see greenery and floral plants but the river, bridges, the activities that take place between Ang Mo Kio and Bishan residents, and my share of the park is smaller compared to the other side (towards Upper Thomson and Bright Hill). ABC Waters, National Parks and volunteers did a great job maintaining this park. Who would've known clean-up could be a social cause?
Also, because I'm into AR (augmented reality) games, I'm fully utilising the park in more ways than 1.

The park is a great place to do some exercise. Both sides of the park is connected by a zebra crossing and a traffic light away. To walk a full round of the entire park is more than 10km. It does get a little boring after a while because the terrain is quite flat. There are some restaurants within the park. For a quick rest, there is also a McDonald's outlet for a quick coffee or cold drink.

Love the expanse, the kids playground is small. A family can have relaxing evening there. There is a McDonalds inside the park.

Beautiful dog-friendly park with a lake and plenty of things for your dogs to do including dog runs. There is also a cute little dog-friendly cafe in this park where you can grab a bite while your fur babies keep you company.

Located in Bishan, this is one of Singapore's largest public parks which serves the residents of Bishan and Ang Mo Kio very well. I love walking around the scenic ponds and wonderful playgrounds. You can walk up to the edge of the river that runs the length of the park. Do you know that the park is the starting portion of the Kallang River which flows down from Lower Pierce Reservoir?

A great park as it has a lot of space for kids to play around. Water features also add into the fun. Many can exercise there too as there is a lot of land there.

There's 2 dog parks for different size dogs. The river has stepping stones for kids to try catching longkang fishes. there's also several playgrounds around the area. The water play area is in the part of the park further from ave 8. The inclusive playground is nearer macdonald's.

The park is located between 2 HDB Housing estates, Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. A great place with lots of greenery and place for your kids and pet dog to run around. A few eateries are also located in this park.

One of the peaceful, expansive park in Singapore. The linear design layout makes it look very expansive. The canal was demolised to become a natural flood plain. Super smart! It is now so natural looking and attract so much wild life!

It's a very large and beautiful park. Has Kallang river flowing on one side. You can spot a lot of fishes and a few turtles too. It has a Mac D and there are a few cozy restaurants inside the park. There's a separate place for pets (dogs) to play without a leash (of course some breeds have to be on leash n muzzled always when in public spaces). It has a cycling track. You can also catch up on a few activities.

Very nice park to have your outdoor activities in. There are amenities located in the park such as Macdonalds. Very popular place for couples to chill in at night. Beautiful at night!

Foliage is rather immature, most trees don't provide enough shade. Pockets of shadier areas do exist, but most plants will need time to mature further. Makes this a difficult park to walk around on a hot day. Otherwise good for cooler times, nights. Great for cycling and roller blading especially, with the lanky lanes that wind around the park. There are cafes and fast food scattered around the park. They should really have park connectors that allow pedestrians to walk seamlessly from one section to the next without having to cross roads and traffic light junctions. Hopefully they are already planning for it soon.

It's a very beautiful park with river and sometimes you can see fishes. There is also a Mcdonald's nearby. During the night it isn't very windy though.

Nice park. But one of the playground has metal slides. In such hot and sunny singapore, no one can use the playground during day time, especially afternoons.

One of my favourite parks to go to in Singapore! The place is good for jogging, playing soccer/frisbee or just taking a stroll with friends and family! There's also a McDonald's if you want to get a quick bite!
