Heard about this place but this was my first time trying it. Ordered the Sunday morning set and avocado love set.
Sunday morning : charcoal crossaint drizzled with honey, smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and a small side of salad. I added the poached egg for additional 4 ringgit.
Was slightly disappointed with how the poached egg looked as I was expecting the eggs bendict look. The charcoal crossaint bun was very crispy with a slight charcoal taste, tastes really good. Smoked salmon had a smoky and peppery taste.
Avocado love: almost similar to the Sunday morning but vegetables was rocket instead of cabbage. We ordered the almond crossaint for this set which tasted really different from the charcoal one. The almond crossaint was more buttery and slightly less crispy.
Overall, the cafe was pretty good for its price, around 50 ringgit for both sets. But, I would prefer if they have more options for their food.

Hipster café located near all the other hipster cafes. Cafe is on the second level, first level is a clothing store. Their ice cube cappuccinos are famous here and are worth a try. We tried also the butterfly pea flower ice cube drink which was interesting! It came with lime juice which you can pour into your drink to make it more flavourful. We also tried the pies but it was nothing to shout about. Overall, nice vibes and free wi-fi provided!

This is THE to-go cafe in JB.
Once you enter, you will be greeted with racks of clothing that are supposed to have been made by local designers. But if you are, like me, just there for the food, head to the second floor for the cafe.
We ordered the espresso cubes with lavender milk, charcoal croissant with smoked salmon(I think it's called Sunday Morning or something, can't remember) and the earl grey dark chocolate, which looked like a mini-dome with hues of purple and white.
The coffee tasted amazing and I'm not even exaggerating. It's rather expensive for Malaysia standards(RM18) but well-worth the price, IMO. When the croissant arrived, the first thing we noticed was how generous they were with the smoked salmon - it came in three HUGE slabs! Tell me where you can get so much smoked salmon and an excellent charcoal croissant in Singapore for only RM21. TELL ME. The earl grey dome cake was the prettiest of them all but taste-wise, it wasn't that spectacular.
Overall, the food and drinks here are top-notch. It's definitely pricy but then again, so are the other cafes in the area near the Singapore Customs. It's still cheaper than in Singapore though.

The ice cube caramel espresso had to be thoroughly mixed in order to enjoy it. The dark chocolate earl grey cake had a strong strong lavandar? After taste which was awesome when combined with the drinks. Not too sweet.

Cafe is above the boutique. Nice ambience but chairs are not so comfortable. Espresso cube coffee is good and strong but preparation time can be improved on.

Have been wanting to visit this place as the concept of clothing and cafe is cool. So they sell clothes on level 1 and cafe on level 2. 4 types of seating area: bed (yes, a bed), normal chairs & tables, long table looking out the street, and outdoor seating downstairs. They have hot meals and cakes which are serve on wooden board. Espresso/Tea ice cubes drinks which have both good visuals and taste too. Tried their special weekend earl grey dark chocolate and I totally love it! As my friend mentioned... you can taste a field of lavender flower at first, and then comes the earl grey plantation~~~

I really love the espresso ice cube drink and I’ll definitely return for it again. White chocolate truffle cake was too creamy for me, but because I’m not a cream cheese person too. Interior was very nice and service was nice too!

Good food and coffee.
Great ambience, however the chairs are pretty uncomfortable.
Loved the food, but certain dishes' portions are too small.
Squid ink pasta rather hard (due to flour ratio) - If cost too high for squid ink pasta and resulting in smaller portions, normal pasta will be more satisfying.

lovely decor, but the cafe was quite warm, especially in the afternoon. otherwise very aesthetic decor and drinks, though our flower teas lacked tea in it. the citrus mix is great for sour heads!

Of course, you have to order this drink if it's your first time at Bev C Cafe, right? No? Well I wanted to, even though I am not a very milky person. I enjoyed it at first because I poured the milk little bit little into the glass, & the coffee taste was strong to my liking. But towards the end, I had a whole lot of milk & only tiny coffee ice cubes- that I didn't like.
Should've either (1) ordered an extra shot, or (2) poured all the milk in at one go. Totally my bad, but hey it's my first time here.. Chai Latte was sweet & bold; if you have a bit of a sweet tooth, you might like this.
For the sake of variety, I wouldn't order these again because I'd like to try their other drinks.

Went to the cafe, service and food wee good. Were stuck for a while due to the rain, has a small chat with the owner at the retail downstairs. She was kind enough to hand-draw a map for us for local food recommendations. The place is full of characters.

Like the ambient. Coffee may not be their best; no pour coffee n no cold brew. The people is warm n location is just nice. Good place for a lazy Saturday afternoon when you have time to kill.

Great ambience! Very hipster, extremely Instagrammable. Tea was just a Lipton tea bag and the coffee was OK. Service was well, for a lack of a better word, hipster attitude. Couldn't be bothered nor was there any warm welcome from the staff of the level 2 Cafe. The staff at level 1 boutique gave us a warmer welcome.
