This is a nice budget hotel, very close to main shopping malls. Rooms are clean but small, service is friendly. Walking distance from Singapore checkpoint.

High quality hotel for the price. Great value. Considering what I paid I was presently surprised with a high floor great city view. The room was VERY clean. Great location. Breakfast was no good but I still give 5 stars because of the value

Got a smoking room due full.
Why can’t they get this TV reception better? This is the best reception channel I have.
Better bring your own toiletries.
At least breakfast is inclusive.

Quite a decent hotel for the price we paid. Great staff, and nice clean rooms. Not huge option for breakfast, but great to stay for one night.

Small cramped room even for standard size. Small single bed compared to standard. Sub standard breakfast. Friendly staff though especially the security personnel. The staff in charge during breakfast played her own brand of music out loud from her own handphone 😅. Weird.

It's a decent place to spend the night. Comfortable, clean, feels like what you need after a long night. Also very near the customs and city square for easy transport.

Desinterested and unfriendly staff, moldy smell from the ACs they're trying to cover with car air fresheners. One of the lowest-quality breakfast buffets I've seen in Asia - your best bet are toast and eggs. Other cooked dishes are mostly gooey, have unpleasant taste or are stale beyond comparison (the cereal). The only positive about this place is its location and relative cleanliness of the room.

Room satisfactory, hotel lacking amenities. Free breakfast options very limited to less than 10 dishes. Suitable for short stay after shopping.

If you barely stay in the hotel, and would like to experience 2 big malls at JB, this cutie small room is suitable for you. You get what you paid. However if you visit JB with your kids, you might need to pick another better option 🤣

Hotel is old and the front desk was unfriendly and very unwelcoming. We arrived close to midnight and the frontdesk didn't even bother to welcome us and let us wait instead. Breakfast is terrible for the price you pay. The room smells old and my hatest part is room service is not 24 hours. I think it is only open from 6 am to 11 am then after that you cant request anything from them. Indeed, very poor service. The only good thing is the convenient location but I will never return again.

Location wasn't hard to find, but was a little misleading as it was kinda hidden behind another hotel. Receptionist checked us in but didn't explain to us there weren't any double beds left. Room was small but clean.

Well bagus means good. So this is an ok hotel as the trouble are justified with the price... So for that price it's a steal due to the location...

Quite alright to stay for a night, rooms can use a proper cleaning though. Hotel has covered parking at 10RM per day.

Very good location opposite komtar, walkable from causeway. Busy hotel with many guests queueing at checking out time. Not enough parking spaces, some cars had to park on the ramps. Free breakfast is lamentable, be it quantity or quality-wise.

Love this place coz clean n neat, i go there with my boy.. Near with jb sentral, a cross the street.. But kinda a little difficult for me to find taxi

Place is cheap.
Aircon not working properly.
No lighting at mirror.
Noisy corridor.
Breakfast okay lah. Not much choice.
Travelling by public? Don't.
Roadside works not done since 3 years ago. No solid pavement or safe road access.

Nice and quiet. Simple, minimalist but clean and comfortable. Location wise its certainly convenient. Early morning sunlight comes in comfortably to brighten up the small room. Ironing board is on each floor, very convenient. The buffet breakfast caters to both local and Western and certainly deserve praise. The only shortcoming is there is no wardrobe to put up your clothes no sufficient clothes hangar in the room for business traveller.

Clean modèrate cost hotel no pool no room service no alcohol. But good food and helpful staff and great for families.

we checked in on 3/25 with couple of my friends. the reception got the worst attitude I have ever seen. All we asked for was a set of hairdryer, I mean, she didn't have to give us the attitude, righ Ms.Fatemahg!!! I tried to be reason while typing this review, but i just can't. Can you believe that she even rolled her eyes on me while I was politely asking for a set of hairdryer?? Unbelievable. Dear Amansari Hotel, you should def stepping up your employee training program. shame on you.

One of the best hotels in JB so far . The parking is not as scary as stated by one of the reviewer above & the room itself is comfortable and quite convenient especially for those who are going with families . The food is also a thumbs up ! Wifi in the rooms is also quite speedy , near to the centre of Johore Bahru . Besides , the rate of ' Family Room ' is pretty cheap with a single bed , 1 queen sized bed & a sofa bed :) Perhaps , this will not be our last time staying here due to the good service & hospitality .

Highly not recommended for those who want to stay with family. Tiny room and not enough space. Quite scary parking. this is first and last for us.
