Had a one night staycation here on the 13th May 2018. I booked a standard room with twin beds. The floor was dusty and the hotel was only provided with the bare minimum. The beds are well made and a small tv was provided without any HDMI input. Some of the main problems I had was there werent any toothpaste and toothbrush provided, the walls are thin and you can faintly hear your neigbours business. Oh, and there are no stirrers for your coffee. There is an indian muslim hotel nearby, quite delicious yet expensive. Bought a pack of maggi goreng and prata kosong and it costed me $7.50. There are no nearby ATM so please withdraw at any nearby stations before arriving.
Then again, there shouldnt be much to expect for a $50 booking hotel. Ideal for budget stays and focusing more on adventuring!

aircon without remote
24inches wall mounted tv is useless
you can merely sleep there, thats all 😅
one thing thats really sick... you have to return key whenever you go out, they got only one master key
when you come back, you ask for key at counter.
there are some good hotels with that price at geyland.

Good quality overall, value for money. Room is tidy and clean, internet works fine, the hotel manager is very patient (for a singaporean). The only downside is the quality of the tv (limited selection of channel and poor picture) - not that it matters too much though. For people who complained about lack of "standard hotel facilities" (elevators, keys, etc) maybe they should also admit first their lack of "standard payments"... :P

A small room which was reasonably clean. No window although some borrowed light came in through the tiny ajoined bathroom. The hotel has no lift but must be on e of the cheapest in Singapore. There is a nice Mamak restaurant within 2 minutes walk.

No elevator. The stair is too narrow to walk up with my luggage. Room is so small. Bath towels are too old. I even had to buy one at nearby shop. Need to pay room key in the morning at reception before u go out if u want clean-up service. If not, they won't make up your room. Also need to ask for water bottles at reception if you don't ask room clean-up. If not , they will put new water bottles in your room while cleaning up.

Rooms are good. Not the best. Reception people didn't provide me a 3 pin plug converter which i needed because the only electric plug in the room was 3 pin.

Lots of affordable restaurants in the area. Halfway between two mrt stations, lots of bus stations around.
Small rooms with ensuite bathroom. Tv has poor reception. Kettle in room.
No elevator. No windows in room. Good air conditioner.

Good for a cheap place to stay. Smaller rooms but if you're looking to save some money this is a fine choice

Good price, front desk was nice, the room was ok. Has a convenience store nearby, many restaurants in the area. Over all it was great. For the price i paid its worth it.

The room is tidy and shower has heater adjustments. Only problem is toilet don't have tap water and had to use toilet paper. I'm not really used to cleaning with only toilet paper so it was a bit of a problem. Room don't have window but size is OK though it was on the smaller scale. Aircond cannot adjust temperature so either sleep cold or just open short while and close before sleeping. The noise from outside can be heard but not loud or disturbing. There's TV, water boiler, coffee sachets and complimentary mineral water. The staff I met at night was pleasant but the morning was business-like. Don't really have a problem with both. The morning staff was prompt and only ask important things. Maybe he is being mindful for those who are in a hurry to check out. While the night staff seems more relaxed since no one checks out at night or in a rush to go somewhere. Quite a nice combo. The hotel is between a Chinese restaurant and a convenience store. Muslim travelers can find Halal restaurants nearby the area. Just ask the receptionist. There are fruit stalls right around the corner and the atmosphere is just nice. Overall my stay was pleasant.

It's ok if you want budget hotel just for sleeping and stay at night. It get no breakfast or room service (Room service will only come when you told the reception if you forget it then no room service which means no water bottle). TV channels is so bad u can't even see what is showing however Wi-Fi internet is decent.

If you are looking for a place just to sleep and rest during your travel and if you have only couple of nights, this is great. Good service. Friendly people. You have 24 hour eating places around. And close to suntec.

Budget stayover hotel. Very poor reception and organisation.
The day I had booked the hotel, due to my flight time I arrived at the hotel in the small hours of the morning. When I arrived around 1am, they claimed there was not a room ready.
I sat waiting in the foyer, tired and irritated and finally snapped demanding to know how they could possibly not have my room ready when it should have been prepared from 3pm the previous day.
Suddenly the guy advised me that there was a free room that I could immediately go to but it was not the room I booked.
I had not booked a specific room so I found this statement to be strange and I don't see any benefit for them by delaying me.
The room was very basic and smelled damp. Definitely in need of some renovation but it is more of a cheap one night stay hotel.
Doors don't lock properly and definitely felt vulnerable overnight.

Clean, not very expensive and not so far by taxi from the airport at night time. Room with bathroom, towel, welcome mineral water and staff friendly. It's a good place to sleep.
