Dr Song and Dr Spellman are great - the practice feels more personal, and the vets seem to be more passionate about what they do in comparison.
Charges during peak can be quite high though

Dr Heng is very professional and was a great help to me and my family in our pet's time of need. He is very patient and explained to us clearly what we needed to know to understand Ross' (our pet) needs.

Generally agree with the consensus that their service has deteriorated. Also very expensive. I advise you to go elsewhere.

In short: Service has declined from a couple of years back, prices are higher than other vets, and I always feel like I’m being treated like a cash cow whenever I go there.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand that it’s a for-profit business but the impression that I get is that they love money more than the animals. I actually wouldn’t mind paying extra if the doctors there gave that extra something to make sure your pets are a-ok, but I’m typically met with an uninspired vet rushing through the consultation.
If you go there, make sure you have fat wallets for them to milk. I personally think there are better vets out there that cost less.

I've been sending my cats for vaccinations here yearly since 2014. I continued going because of a few vets there who are friendly to my cats namely, Dr Sylvia Tan and Dr Angeline Yang. Recently this year the clinic has opened another clinic just next door specially for cats. I find my experience today at this new clinic frustrating and disappointing. Firstly, the leading vet wasn't at all friendly to my cat. And my cat was already in pain. Her consultation fee was high and not worth her service. When I told her my cat's last visit was middle this year for his booster, she insisted we came middle last year! Talk about knowing your patients well! Secondly, she charged $180 for a blood test that she could not even complete well coz my cat was crying out in pain. She advised me for more blood tests and that is the bulk of the total cost of almost 1k! This doesn't even cover treatment! And when I left the clinic, no painkillers were even given to my cat! I'm just disappointed with the service rendered by Amber Vet today. I'm not bringing my cats there again. Too expensive and not worth the price for such services.

I went to another vet for a second opinion and requested for my pet's medical report to be sent over but they gave attitude and delayed sending it over. I'm actually not sure if they actually did afterwards. I had to redo the tests at the other vet because of their selfish act. It showed how small hearted they are and how little they care about the wellbeing of animals they treat.

Amber Vet and team has been gentle and very loving towards my dog, Jackie, during her visits.
Eventually, Jackie begun enjoying her and trips to the vet and always rush in to meet her friends there.
Special thanks to their vets and the team for their excellent service.

Both my dogs have been going to Amber Vet since they opened - the team is professional, friendly and helpful. The waiting area is always kept clean with a water fountain provided for our dogs and the staff are patient to give detailed explanations to us. Will recommend Amber Vet to all furparents!

Amber Vet's doctors and nurses are always professional, friendly and provide excellent care for our fur babies! We feel assured leaving them in their safe hands.

Brought both my dogs there on numerous occasions, each time my dogs return healthy and happy! Quality service and outstanding customer service.

Used to be my favorite vet , more on the ex$ side, but i just wanted the best for my pets. Until one of my family vets was recently sent with overnight stay yesterday.
Charged more then where where told when we sent in our pet ( we did ask what is the maximum charges we could incur).
What they did was after talking to the mother who agreed on amounts, while she left, they asked my young traumatized brother to sign some payment agreements.
Pet returned to us in horrible condition after stay: dirty as hell , uncleaned almost covered in her own faeces, Needle still inserted into the vain!
Took a lot of convincing to give us the medical report, apparently Amber's practice NOT allowed to give owner medical report "as we are not smart enough to under stand it" and they only can give it to another vet.

They used to be very good. However, they are suffering from high staff turnover. Two of their vets have left. The clinic was dirty and staff put my call on hold for more than 10mins. Their vets are overloaded and uncontactable in an emergency. Waiting time is long even if you have an appointment. Amber Vet is very expensive. Their mark-ups for vitamins and meds are very high. You can get from other sources cheaper. I expected more from them for the high prices they are charging.
We were told by their inexperienced vet that our cat has FIP and the vet said she was more than 50% sure before she sent the sample for testing. She even told us that our cat with FIP has only a few weeks to live. As it turned out, the test results from US showed that our cat never had FIP and no pracreatitis as earlier diagnosed by even their principal vet!
It just shows us that their vets are highly inexperienced and simply guessing. Their vet also poked my poor kitten 3 times for blood and told us the next day that the test cannot use blood as a sample. We were told instead to collect his stools. All the trauma our kitten went through and the anguish we experienced, the vets never apologised for their mistakes!
Please think seriously about bringing your pets to this clinic!
