Nice MRT station same as other MRT stations in Singapore. Nicely managed crowd system for peak hours. Very helpful staff. Quick access to exits. User friendly ticket dispensing machines. Discounts on reuse of same tickets. Easy and fast access using card tickets. Good facility for wheel chair and strollers.Connected with airport express and other major MRT lines. Always crowded. Thanks to MRT staff and management for making the journey healthy and quick. Thanks for the services.

I use this station only when I go to Geylang:)
Of course it depends on the place where you want to go but if you don’t mind, it’s good to walk from here to the destination place as an exercise:)!
This station is surrounded by the shops and restaurants so you can actually enjoy a lot around this area!;)

It’s the first stop out of the tunnel on the green line so can gauge the weather of the day. Next stop Payah Lebar for the SingPost mall

Strategic location, right in the heart of Geylang District where you'll find lots of reasonably priced, delicious eateries such as No Signboard Seafood and Leong Kee Bak Kut Teh. The buildings there are well preserved and the nostalgic ambience of the 50-60s is retained
The area is also known as Singapore's red light district, karaoke lounges with escort service and brothels exist. Avoid walking in the alleys (lorongs) at late night, or even booking the budget hotels there if you don't wanna get tempted, bothered by prostitutes

Public transportation in Singapore mean business. Clean station and train, pleasant temperature, smooth ride, very little wait and a well develop system.
