Nice hotel near bars with great value. A big mosque is also nearby. Not so far from Bugis area, makes it a nice place to stay with a fair budget.

Aliwal has a comfortable rooms, good services and located in the near of Sultan Mosque, and MRT station, also it would be a good choice if you want to shopping because you can find a very popular traditional market (Bugis Street)

Cheap and very convenient for everything. Close to many shops and restaurants and Bugis.

The room is smaller than it looks in photos. It's clean and tidy. It's okay for us. We are 2 adults, 2 children, and a baby. The staffs are friendly. But, on next day, there's a problem with the electrical power and the water heater was off.

Cockroaches.. dead and alive.. mold. Dirt under the bed from previous quests. Tiny room.
The whole place smells like bug poison.
I wonder what's wrong with people that rate this 5 stars. Even a cheap backpacker hotel in Vietnam or malaysia is far cleaner than this dump.

A really cheap option to stay in city centre. But staff is not too helping but still better to stay in Hostel.

Staff is friendly but the place is dirty, & rooms are small. Avoid like the plague!

Not happy with the stay. Room was dirty and the table and the bed had ants on it, which made the sleep not possible. Also a cherry on top, a giant cockroach who I named Stewie (dont recommend interrupting him; may bite or crawl in your mouth during your sleep). We are not done yet though, the toilet was literally underneath the shower, so make your assumptions. 10/10 would be homeless again.

Deserves no stars at all. Absolutely horrible. The first thing we saw on our door was a cockroach, and when we got into the room, there were more of them on the bed, walls, and bathroom. When a staff member went to "clean" the room, it only took her about 15 minutes to finish, so I doubt any sort of cleaning happened there. I really wanted to get a different room but they were fully booked. Did not risk having cockroaches crawl all over me in the middle of the night so we just cancelled our booking and went elsewhere. :(

Near bus stop (bef sultan mosq), a bit far from MRT (lavender). Many halal foods around. Family room is ok with 2 queen bed, no window. Need to deposit 20sgd for keyroom and will refund when check out. Lift is not so good, i usually used lift but this was make me lil bit scare. Cleaning service ok, they change towel, tidy up our bed also room. Woman staff can speak Melayu.

Regreting my decision staying here..i asked for twin bed but they gave me double bed. And i guess i pay for the room with window because the staff say they will move me when the room with window avaliable. I don't mind small room but it's hardly acceptable when it's dark, and dirty (hair...hairs everywhere...!!)

Very average rooms, it is cheap, but not very good condition even for budget place.

The room is infinitesimal, there is no space at all, it's not cleaned, the towels are not changed. Why did we choose it is still a question

Only saving grace is the cheap rate. Else the room is bare basic & the bathroom is not too clean.

The room is dirty and especially the bathroom. The only good thing about this hotel is the wifi connection.

This hotel is horrible; when I told them that it doesn't look like on the photos at all they asked me to pay cancellation fee of one night!
It's a smelly, sticky, dirty horrible hotel. Hair in the bathroom and on the floor, dirty sheets, tangy smeell in the rooms etc!!
Pay a bit more and got to Hotel Boss, brand new and only a bit more expensive.

They need to level up their cleanliness especially in managing the toilet and shower. Sticky floor and hairs at shower area.
